Objective To modify the way of information-learning for in-ward patients and the modes of living and business services within or out of hospital, thus improving the service acquisitiveness and patient's satisfaction. Methods Based on the integration of the current hospital equipments and internal information, digital service platform was constructed by utilizing all kinds of technologies such as cable television network, broadband local network, internet, multi-media, embedded microcomputer, etc. Results In-ward patient can enjoy video on demand (VOD), bill inquiry, ordering meal, amusement games, business services and external hospital service conveniently via remote control and television in the room. Conclusion The platform introduces the digital technology into non-medical service in hospital. As an innovation in information technology and service pattern, the platform has a future in application.
2.Experience and application of mobile nursing technology

Objective To apply modern information technology to improve the holistic nursing quality, insure the medical security and offer essential conditions for administration of medical nursing, procedure control and medical treatment navigation. Methods Special clinical mobile nursing information system was developed based on 2-dimensional bar code, special wristbands, electronic medical record, LAN technology and mobile terminal solutions. Results The system not only extremely improved the work efficiency of ward-nursing and ensured the accuracy of nursing work during special executive course, but also updated the collection of the information on time and conquered a lot of limitation of traditional hospital nursing actions. Conclusion The successful application of clinical mobile nursing system will improve the medical quality, prevent the medical negligence, enhance the nursing efficiency and management level and relieve the labor intensity. Meanwhile, being practical and convenient, this system has high value in spreading.
3.Innovational Application of Wireless Mobile Technique in Asset Management

Objective To make the capital asset management more efficient,improve the level of tracing management of the capital asset,simplify and standardize the flow chart of asset inventory.Methods Based on the techniques of bar code,wireless LAN and intelligent EDA mobile terminal,the asset management system was deceloped.Results Compared with the traditional hospital capital asset management,mobile asset management system overcame a lot of deficiencies and bore such superiorities as advanced technology,instant data,convenient practice and wide applications.On the other hand,it also suited the asset inventory and management without wireless network conditions.Conclusion This technology opens a new generation of the mode of hospital asset management.Being convenient and practical,it is widely used with promising prospect.[Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2008,29(2):60-61,65]

6.Technical Features and Composition of AGV Hospital Transport Systems

AGV is one of the major hospital transport systems, and its domestic application is few. AGV belongs to wheeled mobile robot, which is battery dynamic, unmanned driving, high maneuverable, and can transport over 400Kg wheelbarrow. There are two types of AGV navigations: inner and outer navigations. Basically AGV system includes auto- navigation vehicles, different type of wheelbarrow, work station, central control system, and communication unit. This article introduces the application development situation of AG0V, the major technical characters, auto-navigations and the major component of this system.

Objective The application of modern information technology to manage critical values of clinical examination,in order to improve the management level of patients safety and reduce the medical risk.Methods The critical values reminder in medical security alert system is developed and applied,the core module of the system are warning monitor of equipment record and SMS warning monitor of alerting in testing critical value.Results Through the application of system,the information of testing critical values are obtained duly,comprehensively and accurately,the notification time of clinical testing critical values are abbreviated,the notification scopes are spread and achieved the management of critical value at different levels.Conclusion The application of the system can be perfected the management of critical values,ensured patients safety,improved the medical quality and enhanced the management level of hospital,and then the system has become another example of informationization creating value.

10.Study and Application of New Hospital Customer Service Platform-"Doctor-Patient Communication" Platform

Objective The setting of "doctor-patient communication" platform aims to innovate service pattern for hospital customers by constructing the communication bridge between hospital and patients via digital ways. Methods The platform was based on electronic patient records system and hospital information system. The internal information could interchange with social communication platform (cell phone, PHS, internet) via that system to realize the communication between doctors and patients. Results The platform could easily realize immediate interaction and group administration to customers in the form of manual communication, short massage, voice service and email. Conclusion The platform innovates both the service pattern for hospital customers and hospital customer relationship management (CRM) mode, and it has a bright application future.
