OBJECTIVE:To study the extraction rate and speciation of antivitiligo-related elements in Opercalina turperthum by water extraction and semi-bionic extraction. METHODS:Water extraction and semi-bionic extraction were respectively used. Wa-ter-soluble state and suspension state in extract of O. turperthum were separated by microporous filtering film;organic and inorgan-ic trace elements in water-soluble state were separated by macroporous resin. The contents of Cu,Zn,Fe,Ca,Mg,Mn and Sr were detected by flame atomic adsorption spectrophotometry,and speciation analysis was conducted. RESULTS:After water extrac-tion,extraction rates of 7 trace elements were 40.47%-72.49%;ratio of suspended particles was 3.69%-8.78%;ratio of organic state/inorganic state was 104.36% in water-soluble state of Sr and 3.94%-48.39% in water-soluble state of Cu,Zn,Fe,Ca,Mg, Mn. After semi-bionic extraction,except for Mn,extraction rates of trace elements were higher than water extraction,extraction rates of Cu,Zn,Fe,Ca,Mg,Sr were 77.69%-90.19%;ratio of suspended particles was 0.39%-8.57%;the ratio of organic state/inorganic state was 72.74%-180.79% in water-soluble state of elements. CONCLUSIONS:Cu,Zn,Fe,Ca,Mg,Mn and Sr in O. turperthum are dissolved easily,mainly existing in the form of inorganic state. After semi-bionic extraction,except for Mn,the dis-solution rate of other elements and the proportion of organic trace elements after dissolution increase significantly. Both dissolution and effective utilization rate of trace elements by semi-bionic extraction are higher than water extraction.

Objective: To investigate the effect of enolase 1 (ENO1) expression on proliferation, apoptosis and migration of lung cancer PC14 cells. Methods: ENO1 over-expression vector-pcDNA3.1/ENO1 was constructed and transfected into PC14 cells at logarithmic growth phase with liposome LipofectamineTM 2000. G418 was used to screen PC14 cells that stably expressing ENO1. The effects of ENO1 over-expression on proliferation, migration and apoptosis of PC14 cells were detected by CCK-8 method, scratch-healing assay and flow cytometry, respectively. Results: The ENO1 over-expression cell model was successfully constructed. Compared with PC14-vehicle and wild-type PC14 cells, the mRNA and protein expression levels of ENO1 in PC14-ENO1 cells were significantly elevated (all P<0.05), and the proliferation of PC14-ENO1 cells was significantly increased (all P<0.05). The relative mobility of PC14ENO1 cells was significantly higher than that of pcDNA3.1-vehicle cells and wild-type PC14 cells ([13.26±1.13]% vs [8.46±1.11]%, [7.86±1.00]%, both P<0.05). There was no significant difference in apoptotic rate among PC14-ENO1, PC14-vehicle and PC14 cells (all P> 0.05) Conclusion: Over-expression of ENO1 promotes proliferation and migration of lung cancer PC14 cells.

Total RNA was extracted from leaf of Suaeda hetroptera kitag, then the CMO ( choline monooxygenase) cDNA was amplified using the reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction ( RT-PCR) method and cloned into pMD-T-simple vector. The positive clones from the Blue/White Screen were sequenced. After confirming its validity, the CMO gene fragment was cloned into pBI121 vector. Double enzyme restriction and PCR analysis indicated that the pBI121/CMO recombinant plasmid was successfully constructed.

Objective: To study the action of kangfuxin solution on the experimental gastric ulcer.Methods: The rat gastric ulcer models induced by the ligated pylorus and burned acetic acid, the gastric moucosa injury model induced by the absolute ethyl alcohol were used.Results: Kanfuxin solution possessed the protective action on the rat gastric ulcer model induced by the ligated pylorus and rat gastic mucosa injury model induced by the absolute ethyl alcohol, but didn't affect the rat gastric ulcer model induced by burned acetic acid. Conclusion: Kangfuxin Solution also has the actions of inhibiting the output of gastric acid and pepsin.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effectiveness of locking plate external fixator in treating middle and distal tibial fractures.

METHODSFrom January 2010 to January 2013,18 patients suffered from middle and distal tibial fractures were treated by locking plate external fixator,including 11 males and 7 females, with an average age of 53.5 (ranged from 13 to 80) years old,the course of disease ranged from 2 h to 3 d. According to AO classification, 4 cases were type A,11 cases were type B and 3 were type C. Among them,6 patients were open fracture, including 2 cases with type I, 3 cases with type II and 1 case with type III, according to Gustilo classification), 12 patients were close fracture. Operation time, postoperative complications were observed, and Johner-Wruhs scoring were used to evaluate clinical outcomes.

RESULTSAll patients were followed up from 6 to 15 (meaned 11) months. Two cases occurred skin necrosis (1 case occurred bone exposure), 2 cases occurred delayed union (all were open fracture), and 1 case occurred nail infection. No screw loosening or broken occurred. According to Johner-Wruhs scoring, 10 cases obtained excellent result,6 cases good,and 2 cases fine.

CONCLUSIONLocking plate external fixator for the treatment of middle and distal tibial fractures, which has advantages of lessen damage, shorter operative time, less complications and rapid functional recovery, is one of good choice.
