A case of primary lymphosarcoma of the prostate gland proved by Silvermann needle biopsy was presented. Lymphosarcoma of the prostate is a rare condition, and only 23 cases have been reported in medical literature. In Culver's series, 74 per cent were sarcoma of fibrous origin (round cell, spindle cell sarcoma, myxosarcoma), 5 per cent rhabdomyosarcoma, 6 per cent lymphosarcoma, and 10 percent pleuriplastic or un-or de-differentiated sarcoma. A large tumor of the prostate, which is not hard and nodule occurs in a middle aged patient, should be considered of lymphosarcoma of the prostate. A case of lymphosarcoma of the prostate is added to the literature.

A study was made of 234 patients with carcinoma of the cervix seen during the period from Aug.-1959 to Dec.-1963, who had come to the Departments of Obstetric and Gynecology of Yonsei Medical Hospital. Intravenous pyelogram, cystoscopy, and urine examination were done and N. P, N. was checked in addition to clinical examination before treatment. Intravenous pyelogram were classified into 1. Non-functioning 2. Hydronephrosis 3. Hydroureter as abnormalities Also cystoscopic finding were classified into 1. Elevation of bladder wall 2. Bullous edema 3. Neoplasm invasion. There were 51 patients who showed abnormality of intravenous pyelogram among the 234 patients with carcinoma of cervix, that was a unilateral abnormality in 38 cases and bilateral in 13 cases. Again, among 24(10.26%) non-functioning kidney in this series the left kidney was affected in 11 cases and right kidney in 6 cases. The 125 of 234 patients showed elevation of bladder wall in cystoscopic finding, and the posterior wall of bladder was elevated similarly in all stages. The urological study of patients with carcinoma of cervix are most essential works in addition to clinical examination, and it should be considered as a systemic disease for all physician especially gynecologist, radiologist, and urologist.

While the use of radioactive materials around the world offers a wide range of benefits in medicine, industry and research, radiation accidents also occur in world-wide. The objective of this article is to provide useful information about radiation accidents to the medical personnel. For this, I attempted to document the circumstances leading to the accident and the subsequent medical treatment and health consequences of the victims. Radiation accidents described in this article are Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident, nuclear weapon accident in bikini atoll, major industrial accidents (Ir-192 Peruvian accident, Ir-192 internal contamination accident in Korea, Tokaimura accident in Japan) and Cs-137 contamination accident in Brazil. After reviewing major radiation accidents, I summarized the lessons to be learned from these accidents and presented the helpful institutes that can offer useful helps when radiation accident occurs.

Many plastic surgeons have been tried to attain ultimate goal lies in restoring the original shape and function of the facial aesthetics, in reconstruction of deformities resulting from facial hypertrophic scar and skin defects. This would require consideration in terms of hanmony in color match, skin texture and thickness. Various forms of skin graft, local flap, distant flaps, free flap and tissue expander have been employed in restoring skin defects and deformities of the cheek and submental area, and the use of large local flaps utilizing the cervicofacial skin flaps or tissue expander have brought about improved aesthetic results. the authers have obtained satisfactory results in treating 2 cases of wide hypertrophic scar of the cheek and submental area with combination of wide cervical flap and intraoperative tissue expansion using foley catheter. the merits of this combined operative methods are as follows : 1. It is not necessory to keep tissue expander for a long period. 2. This technique is able to diminish the cost of multistage operation and using of tissue expander. 3. There is no psychologic problems due to undesirable facial appearance during tissue expansion period. 4. Rapid intraoperative tissue expansion by foley catheter during elevating wide cervical flap can allow to dissect one, preserving the perforators without bleeding in a short time. 5. Wide cervical flap and additional expanded tissue by means of intraoperative tissue expansion could brought into suturing avoiding tension of oral commissure and lip eversion. 6. Preservation of perforators of cervical flap above the platysma muscle raised flap's survival rate and then this result could prevent distal ischemic necrosis after flap coverage.

A cyst of seminal vesicle is rare condition, and only 12 cases have been reported in the literature. Complaint of no ejaculation with or without urinary symptoms in married man should arouse suspension of seminal vesicle cyst which results from atresia of ejaculatory duct due to long standing infection of urethra. The diagnosis was made by rectal examination, cystoscopic study, seminal vesiculogram and microscopic examination of the cystic fluid with contained many spermatozoa. We reported a case of cyst of seminal vesicle in a 33 year-old male and reviewed the literature.

Rupture of one or more cardiac chambers following domestic blunt chest trauma is rare. A positive outcome depends on high level of suspicion and early surgical intervention. We report here an interesting case of a ruptured right atrial appendage in a four year old boy following a blunt crushing injury to the chest and abdomen by a heavy porcelain sink which was successfully repaired. Therefore, accurate diagnosis is very important for appropriate management.
