1.Therapeutic Effect of Acupuncture plus Tuina on Cervical Spondylosis
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2008;6(6):344-346
Objective: To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture plus tuina on cervical Spondylosis. Method: Altogether 146 cases were randomized into a group of acupuncture plus tuina (observation group) (70 cases), an acupuncture group (control group I) (38 cases) and a tuina group (control group II) (38 cases). Result: The recovery rate in the observation group, control group I and control group II were 92.1%, 68.4% and 65.8% respectively; there was a significant statistical difference between the observation group and two control groups (P<0.01); and there was no significant statistical difference between the two control groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture plus tuina can alleviate the patients' condition in a faster and better way.

4.A Case of Lipodystrophia Centrifugalis Abdominalis Juvenilis.
Chong Han CHUN ; Byung Heon KIM
Korean Journal of Dermatology 1989;27(3):312-315
We report a case who has been diagnosed as lipodytrophia centrifugalis abdomialis juvenilis. The patient was a 9 year-old girl. At the age of 4 years, these well-defined, depressed lesions appeared in both ing-uinal areas and gradually spread to the labia major, the abdomen and both flank areas and, by 9 years, had reached lower portion of the chest. Biopsy specimen from the depressed lesion showed absence of the subcutsneous fat. The epidermal appendage were well preserved. There were lympho-histiocytic infiltrations around the blood vessels in the upper dermis.

5.Case Report of Neonatal Teeth in Cleft Lip and Palate.
Journal of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons 1999;26(3):506-510
The teeth present at birth are called natal teeth, while the teeth that appear within the first thirty days following birth are called neonatal teeth. Approximately one in 2,000 to 3,500 infants experiences the eruption of teeth at birth or within the first few weeks postpartum. Many contributing factors have been suggested for the premature eruption of primary teeth. It has been suggested that upon eruption these teeth are of normal structure according to their developmental age, but after eruption, lateral movement in the cervical area leads to disturbance of the dentin and premature degeneration of Hertwig's root sheath. In most cases, they have immature, aborted structures consisting only of caps of enamel, dentin, or a combination of both. A radiograph can show the presence or absence of enamel, dentin, or root structures, as well as supernumerary teeth. These teeth may be aspirated or swallowed during feeding. Discomfort from mobile and erupting teeth often causes the infant to refuse to feed. In addition, a nursing mother's nipples may become lacerated and infected. Extraction is the indicated treatment if these neonatal teeth cause discomfort or demonstrate mobility or incomplete, immature development. Treatment decisions must be made on an individual basis from both clinical and radiographic findings. We report four cases of neonatal teeth in complete cleft lip and palate patients.

6.Tetracycline Versus Erythromycin in the Treatment of Non-specific Urethritis.
Chong Han CHUN ; Joong Hwan KIM
Korean Journal of Dermatology 1982;20(5):647-654
The number of non-specific urethritis(NSU) is exceeding more and more that of Gonorrhea in developed nations and sorne of the developing countries especially in our country. Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum, which are the most suspected etiologic agents of NSU, are sensitive to either tetracycline or erythromycin. We compared the effect of oral tetracycline to erythromycin in the treatment of male NSU. The subjects were 524 male patients with NSU at the VD clinic of the Choong Ku Public Health Center in Seoul during 16 months period from January 1980 to April 1981, The diagnostic criterial of NSU were; 1) Five or PMN/HPF in Gram-stained smears of urethral dischage of centrifuged sediment of urine, 2) no Gram-negative intracellular diplococci in Gram stained smears of urethral discharge, 3) no growth of Neisseria gonorrheae in Thayer-Martin media, 4) no Trichomonas vaginalis or Candida albicans in centrifuged sediment of urine.

7.Ultrasound guided reduction of childhood intussusception
Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1986;22(5):788-793
Following on from diagnosis using ultrasound, hydrostatic reduction using saline enema under ultrasoundguidance was tried in 20 cases of childhood intussusception. The conclusions were as follows: 1. Success rates ofsaline enema under ultrasound guidance during a frist-8 month period(P1) and a second 10 month period(P2) were55.6%(5/9) and 54.5%(6/11) respectively. Average succes rate was 55%(11/20). 2. During the periods of P1 and P2,no case was reduced by barium enema in 6 cases of failed reduction with saline enema. 3. During the period of P2, 5 cases of successful redution with saline enema were confirmed by clinical follow-up without barium enema. 4.During the periods of P1 and P2, 9 cases of failed reduction with saline enema were operated, resulting in 6 casesof segmental resection and 3 cases of manual reduction. 5. The obvious advantages of this method are: 1. Noradiation hazard. 2. No fear of barium peritonitis. 3. Detection of leading point. 6. With above results, thismethod could completely replace barium enema. And ultrasonography should be the initial study in the evaluation ofintussusception in children and then if necessary, saline enema under ultrasound guidance should be done.

9.Anlysis of the resalts of the Anti-PGL-1 ELISA Test.
Korean Leprosy Bulletin 2000;33(2):101-106
We had given the Anti-PGL-1 ELISA test to the 235 leprosy patients in our Hospital from July 1999 to Aug 2000. There are 48 patients(20.4%) who are over 200 PGL-1 Ab score and 11 patients(4.7%) who are over 500. The patients who are over 500 of PGL-1 Ab score are all lepromatous leprosy and they have been treated from 5 to 49 years. Two patients among them are positive patients and 9 patients are to be observed only I think that they need to be followed up and if the score of Ab has incresed. We suspect that those patients will become active.

10.1 case of relapsed leprosy accompanied by multiple cranial nerve palsies.
Korean Leprosy Bulletin 2000;33(2):91-99
It is well known that M. leprae involves peripheral nerves, but it is a few known that M. leprae involves craninal nerves. I experienced one case of relapsed leprosy accompanied by multiple cranial nerve palsies. Revealed symptoms are to involve trigeminal nerve (V). facial nerve (VII), vestibular nerve (VIII), glossopharyngeal nerve (IX), vagus nerve (X). It is not effect to treat with corticosteroid, but is good effect to treat with MDT(multiple drug therapy)
