Objective:To discuss the mechanism of Baoganning anti-liver fibrosis.Methods:liver fibrosis rat models were established by complex factors.Automatic biochemical analyzer was used to detect TC、TG and RIA isotope analysis was used to detect serum leptin.To observe the influence of Baoganning on TC、TG and leptin level of liver fibrosis model rats. Results:Compared with the normal group,levels of serum TC,TG decreased apparently in model and every drug groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Baoganning can effectively prevent and treat liver fibrosis in rats,which may be closely related to the improvement of liver function,adjustment of lipid and reduction of serum leptin.

Professor LI De-lin is sophisticated in the clinical experiences of treating diabetes mellitus(DM)with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).Based on clinical observations for many years,the key pathogenesis of DM resulted from internal organs'deficiency,endogenous heat exuberance,liquid and qi's consumption as well as blood density and turbid fluid thickness.From the knowledge above,professor LI advocated to treat DM and diseases accompanied by it with the combination of treatment based on disease and syndrome differentiation to improve the curative effects.During the specific treatments,professor LI emphasized that treatment based on disease differentiation should benefit qi,nourish yin and strengthen yang;treatment based on syndrome differentiation should strengthen vital qi and eliminate pathogenic factor.Strengthening vital qi includes to benefit qi ,nourish blood,tonify yang and supply yin.Eliminating pathogen includes to treat heat-toxicity,phlegm,dampness and depression at the same time.He advocated firstly to invigorate spleen and kidney,secondly to clear heat fire and disperse stagnated liver qi,lastly to moisten and invigorate lung.We received satisfactory curative effects both on the clinical treatments and experiments in DM and diseases accompanied by it when adopting the TCM methods of treatment based on the theory by Professor LI De-lin.

Objective:To assess the efficacy and safety of YiqiHuoxue preparations for the treatment of myocardial infarction(MI).Methods:An extensive search including Cochrane library,Medline,Embase,CBM,CNKI and VIP was performed up to November 2006.Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)about YiqiHuoxue Chinese patent medicine for the treatment of MI were included irrespective of language.The quality of each trial was assessed according to the Cochrane Reviewers'Handbook 4.2.6. Results:Twenty-eight RCTs were included in this review.The main outcomes were mortality,coronary artery recanalization, recurrent myocardial infarction,incidence of complications and other indirect outcomes.Because of the significant clinical heterogeneity between included trials,we just did descriptive analysis without meta-analysis.We couldn't get an affirmative conclusion that YiqiHuoxue preparations were useful for the treatment of MI.Conclusions:Because of low quality and significant heterogeneity of included trials,the efficacy of YiqiHuoxue Chinese patent medicine for the treatment of MI are still lack of sufficient evidence.Further studies are necessary.

Objective:To investigate the effect of PTS on the related pathophysiological changes and serum IL-6 level at different time points after the middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) in rat’s brain.Methods:The model of focal cerebral ischemia of rat was established by the suture-occluded method.The effect of PTS on the behavioral disturbance,the pathological change of ischemia tissue and the level of serum IL-6 at different time points(3d,7d,28d) after MCAO and cerebral ischemia in rats were studied.ResultsAfter MCAO,different degrees of motion disturbances were observed in all rats.The infarct spot can be observed in all groups except the normal.The nerve cell necrosis can be found in all rats after 24 hour of MCAO.The result showed that PTS could improve the degree of motion disturbance,reduce the infarct spot obviously;after MCAO,the serum IL-6 were increased obviously but could be reduced by PTS.Conclusion:PTS can protect the neurons,reduce and eliminate the infiammatory reaction of cerebral ischemia cascade reaction effectively,which may relate to its inhibiting effect on cell factors such as IL-6 production after cerebral ischemia.

Objective: To establish a quality control standard for YurongXiaocuo granule.Methods: TLC was used to identify Radix Puerariae,Fructus Forsythiae,Bulbus Fritillariae Thunbergii,while the content of tanshinoneⅡA was determined by HPLC.Result: The methods of qualitation and quantitate was simple,accurate and with strong specifi city,the good linear rang of tanshinoneⅡA was 3.2-32?g and the average recovery was 99.51%(RSD=2.74%).Conclusion: This method can control effectually the quality of YurongXiaocuo granule.

bjective:To study and establish the fingerprint of Pollen Typhae.Methods:Hypersil BDS C18(5?m,4.6mm?250mm) chromatographic column mobile phase acetonitrile-0.1 % phosphoric acid solution(10:90)with fiow rate of 1.0 ml/min and UV detector at 254 nm.ResultsTaking Isorhamnetin-3-O-neohesperidoside as the reference peak,11 common peaks were selected as the fingerprint peaks of Pollen Typhae,Technology investigation indicated that the analytical method this study established has desirable precision,reproducibility,and stability.The similarity of Pollen Typhae fingerprints from different batches is better.Conclusion HPLC fingerprint analysis can be a method for quality control of medical material of Pollen Typhae.
