Korean Journal of Dermatology 1977;15(3):279-285
Psoriasis vulgaris is a common skin disease usually affects the traumatic joints and scalp in young adult. I reviewi 14l6 patients and the results were as follows; 1. Sex incidence was 991 in male and 425 in female(2.3: 1). 2. The peak age at onset of disease was between from 11 to 80 year of age. 3. The onset of psoriasis showed higher incidence in summer and lower in autumn. 4. Sites affected by psoriasis were most frequent in elbow joint(31.8%), 5. Koebner Phenomenon was found in 12.9% and the incubation period was 16 days on the average. 6. Family incidence was found in 198 cases(13.9%). 7. Joint pain was associated in 155 cases(10.9%), mainly in knee joint. 8. Nail involvement was in 84 cases(5.9). 9. Mucous membrane involvement was in 103 cases(7. 2% ). 10. Other skin diseases in those study were variable but the predominated in neurodermatitis, ll. A significant difference between man and woman for the medication, man was treated by specialist while the woman was medicated by pharmacist advised 12. Approximately half of the cases(56.6%) were ignorant for psoriasis. 13. A significant difference between man and woman about psychiatric problem, was observed. The man had a sought of incurability while the woman had anxiety for the life threaten.

5.A Case of Takayasu Arteritis with Renovascular Hypertension.
Korean Journal of Urology 1981;22(3):336-338
Takayasu arteritis is an arteritis of undetermined etiology which affects the aorta, the proximal portion of its major branches, and the pulmonary arteries. Involvement of the one or both renal arteries resulting in stenosis or occlusion lead to ischemia and renovascular hypertension. Herein we reported a case of Takayasu arteritis with renovascular hypertension in 10 years old male and hypertension was corrected by surgery.

6.Clinical Observation of the Transurethral Surgery.
Korean Journal of Urology 1981;22(1):44-49
A clinical observation was made on 352 cases of transurethral surgery performed in the Department of Urology, Kyung Hee University hospital during the period from January 1, 1974 to June 30, 1980 The following results were obtained. 1) Among total 2980 endoscopically examined patients, transurethral surgery was performed on 352 cases (11.8%). 2) During the period, of 1220 patients operated, 352 patients were performed transurethral surgery, giving a rate 28.85% 3) The age was ranged from 3 to 85 years old and most favorable age was in 40 to 49 years old in 23.59%, The sex ratio, male to female, was 2:1. 4) The common diseases were ureter stone 101 cases (28.69), female chronic urethritis 75 cases(21.3%), bladder tumor 71 cases (20.17%), B.P.H. 36 cases (10.2%), bladder neck contracture 11 cases (5.7%) and bladder stones 11 cases (5.11%). 5) The common surgical procedure were T.U.R. 121 cases (34.37%), stone basket manipulation 101 cases (28.69%), transurethral electrofulguration 93 cases (26.42%), and litholapaxy 18 cases (5.11%). 6) Average operation time was 45.2 minutes. 7) Average duration of hospital stay after operation was 8.6 days. 8) The anesthetic methods were general 144 cases, spinal 132 cases, sedation and local anesthesia 76 cases. 9) The success rate of stone basket was 55%. 10) The post-operative complications were listed as: delayed bleeding (3 cases), hemolysis(1 case), acute epididymitis (1 case), acute pyelonephritis (1 case), severe urinary tract infection (1 case) and upward migration of the ureter stone (1 case).

The purpose of this study is to present a novel method of harvesting autogenous bone graft and to analyze the behavior of xenograft used for pelvic osteotomy in young children. Twenty hips of eighteen patients underwent pelvic osteotomies using xenograft (Lubhoc) from Sep. 1993 to Jun. 1996. In fitteen hips, we harvested autogenous bone avoiding damage to the chondroapophysis of iliac crest and t'illed the donor site with the xenograft. It supplemented the autogenous bone at the osteotomy site in eleven hips, and was used as a wedge without autogenous hone in five hips. During the followup, no growth disturbance of iliac crest was found. The xenograft incorporation was satisfactory at the graft donor sites and the osteotomy sites where it supplemented the autogenous bone, however, unsatistactory at the osteotomy sites where it was used alone. Our novel method of harvesting bone graft from young pelvis may help prevent growth disturbance of lilac crest, and Luhhoc is useful as space-filler of donor site and suppiementary to the autograft in pelvic osteotomy of young children.
