The purpose of this was to investigate the measurement of fluence dose map for the specific patient quality assurance. The measurement of fluence map was performed using 2D matrixx detector. The absorbed dose was measured by a glass detector, Gafchromic film and ion chamber in Hybrid Optimized VMAT Phantom (HOVP). For 2D Matrixx, the results of comparison were average passing rate 85.22%+/-1.7 (RT_Target), 89.96%+/-2.15 (LT_Target) and 95.14%+/-1.18 (G4). The dose difference was 11.72%+/-0.531, -11.47%+/-0.991, 7.81%+/-0.857, -4.14%+/-0.761 at the G1, G2, G3, G4. In HOVP, the results of comparison for film were average passing rate (3%, 3 mm) 93.64%+/-3.87, 90.82%+/-0.99. We were measured an absolute dose in steep gradient area G1, G2, G3, G4 using the glass detector. The difference between the measurement and calculation are 8.3% (G1), -5.4% (G2), 6.1% (G3), 7.2% (G4). The using an Ion-chamber were an average relative dose error -1.02%+/-0.222 (Rt_target), 0.96%+/-0.294 (Lt_target). Though we need a more study using a transmission detector. However, a measurement of real-time fluence map will be predicting a dose for real-time specific patient quality assurance in volume modulated arc therapy.

Journal of Korean Society of Medical Informatics 2008;14(4):451-458
OBJECTIVE: The term "Open API" has been recently in use by recent trends in social media and web 2.0. It is currently a heavily sought after solution to interconnect Web sites in a more fluid user-friendly manner. We could have many benefits easily development and high efficiency. In this paper, Real-time ambulance location monitoring system including Integrated Maps was designed by using Maps Open API based on Web 2.0. METHODS: Integrated Maps were used by using Google Maps Open API and Naver Maps Open API respectively. GPS Web Browser was implemented to present integrated Maps on the designed system continuously. The development environments of the designed systems were C# and ASP.NET Platform. RESULTS: The designed systems contained three parts composed to Integrated Maps, Ambulance System, and Center Monitoring System respectively. Integrated Maps could offer Satellite, Map and Hybrid typed maps at Real-time Ambulance Location Monitoring System. CONCLUSION: Real-time Ambulance Location Monitoring System could be developed with low cost using a Open API at available emergency situations. We expect to more using Open API in medical systems.

Although surgical closure is the standard approach for a muscular ventricular septal defect, the procedure may be complicated by poor visualization and the need for incision on the ventricle. Another approach is catheter-based intervention. However, it also has limitations. A hybrid procedure, the intraoperative combined use of an interventional device may reduce the procedure's invasiveness. We successfully managed two cases of muscular ventricular septal defect with a hybrid procedure. We report here on these 2 cases along with a review of the literature.

9.Isolation Trend of Nontuberculosis Mycobacteria at a Tertiary-care Hospital in 2003-2011.
Kosin Medical Journal 2011;26(2):155-160
OBJECTIVES: This study was performed to investigate the prevalence of nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) species and to determine the clinical significance of NTM isolates. METHODS: From January 2003 to July 2011, NTMs were identified using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) or reverse blot hybridization assay (REBA). And pulmonary NTM infection was diagnosed by clinical history, underlying disease, radiological and microbiological findings according to the diagnostic criteria of 2007 American Thoracic Society (ATS). RESULTS: Of the 697 AFB culture-positive specimens, NTM was detected in 149 (21.4%) specimens. Among 154 NTM isolates from 149 specimens, M. avium-intracellulare complex (MAC) (48.1%) was the most frequently isolated organisms followed by M. abscessus (13.6%), M. gordonae (9.1%), M. kansasii (8.4%), M. szulgai (3.9%), M. fortuitum complex (3.3%), M. scrofulaceum (2.0%), M. malmoense (1.3%), M. chelonae (1.3%), M. marinum (1.3%), M. genavense (1.3%), M. lentiflavum (1.3%) and M. mucogenicum (0.6%). Among 147NTM isolates from 142 respiratory specimens, 54 NTM isolates (36.7%) were causative organisms in NTM pulmonary infection. CONCLUSIONS: The isolation rate of NTM was 21.4% in clinical specimen, and in some cases NTM species results in pulmonary NTM infection. Because the treatment of pulmonary NTM infection depends on the infecting species, accurate identification and clinical significance of NTM are required for adequate treatment.

Journal of Korean Academy of Conservative Dentistry 2011;36(2):119-124
OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this experiment was to evaluate four different polishing systems of their polishability and polishing time. MATERIALS AND METHODS: 4 mm diameter and 2 mm thickness Teflon mold was made. Z-250 (3M ESPE) hybrid composite resin was slightly overfilled and pressed with slide glass and cured with Optilux 501 for 40 sec each side. Then the surface roughness (glass pressed: control group) was measured with profilometer. One surface of the specimen was roughened by #320 grit sand paper and polished with one of the following polishing systems; Sof-Lex (3M ESPE), Jiffy (Ultradent), Enhance (Dentsply/Caulk), or Pogo (Dentsply/Caulk). The surface roughness and the total polishing time were measured. The results were analyzed with one-way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. RESULTS: The surface roughness was lowest in Pogo, and highest in Sof-Lex. Polishing times were shortest with Pogo, and followed by the Sof-Lex, Enhance and Jiffy. CONCLUSIONS: One-step polishing system (Pogo) is very effective to get the smooth surface in a short time, therefore it can be recommended for final polishing system of the restoration.
