1.The prevention and treatment of early stage postoperative inflammatory intestinal obstruction after laparoscopic and open radical resection of colorectal carcinoma
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2008;23(8):596-599
Objective To investigate the incidence, cause, prevention and treatment of early postoperative inflammatory intestinal obstruction(EPIIO)in patients undergoing laparoscopic and open radical resection of colorectal cancer. Methods From September 2000 to September 2006,483 cases of colorectal cancer were divided into two groups according the procedures received: laparoscopic surgery(232 cases)and open surgery(251 cases). The incidence of early postoperative intestinal obstruction was compared between the two groups. Results 1.In laparoscopic group,14 cases(5.69%,14/246)were converted to open surgery;2.The incidences of EPIIO in LS and OS group were respectively 3.02%(7/232)and 7.97%(20/251)(P<0.05,x2=5.60=.In LS group,6 EPIIO caseswere cured conservatively, one underwent surgery, while in open surgery group,18 cases recovered conservatively, two received surgery. Conclusions 1.Significantly less cases suffered from EPIIO in laparoscopic group.2.Most EPIIO cases will recover conservatively, in cases with repeated symptoms or when strangulation of bowel is suspected open surgery should be attempted.
2.Study of Acupuncture Zhongzhu(SJ3) and Waiguan(SJ5) by Functional MRI(fMRI)
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2008;0(S1):-
Objective To observe the distribution of the activated cerebral regions after acupuncture stimulation of Zhongzhu(SJ3) and Waiguan(SJ5) by functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI) technique. Methods A total of 8 cases of volunteer healthy subjects were recruited for this study. Before and during manipulation of the needle, cerebral images were sampled separately by fMRI scanner and analyzed by AFNI software. Results During manipulation of the needle inserted in the unilateral Zhongzhu(SJ3) and Wauguan(SJ5),the highly-activated cerebral structures were cingulated gyrus, temporal gyrus, cerebellum, occipital gyrus, etc. Conclusion The effect of acupuncture analgesia was probably produces by the interaction of multiple brain structures of functional connectivity rather than through the activation of a single brain region.
3.Complications following laparoscopic and open radical resection of colorectal cancer
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2013;(6):477-480
Colorectal cancer is a common malignancy in the digestive tract, open and laparoscopic surgery are the main treatment methods.Anastomotic fistula, anastomotic bleeding, ileus, voiding and sexual dysfunction are the common postoperative complications.Chylous fistula, incision infection, pulmonary infection and incision metastasis occasionally occurred.Compared with open surgery, laparoscopic surgery does not increase the postoperative complications, and it can be safely applied in the radical resection of colorectal cancer.
4. Expression of MMP-9 in brain tissue of mouse cryptococcal meningitis model
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;29(7):778-780
Objective: To explore the expression of MMP-9 in mouse brain tissue and its significance. Methods: Cryptococcosis ssuspension alone (fungal suspension group) or combined with aprotinin (aprotinin group) was injected in to female C57 BL/6 mice via femoral vein cannulation. The expression of MMP-9 was examined immunohistochemically 8 h later. Meanwhile, the mouse brain tissue homogenate colony count (CFU) was observed and the results were compared with that of the immunohistochemical examination. Results: The expression of MMP-9 was markedly increased in the fungal suspension group compared with the normal control group (P<0.01); the expression in the aprotinin group was not significantly different from that of the normal control group (P>0.05). The amount of cryptococcosis in the brain tissue was positively correlated with expression of MMP-9. Conclusion: MMP-9 is overexpressed in the brain of mice with Cryptococcal meningitis; MMP-9 might lead to increased permeability of blood brain barrier.
5.Advantageou functions of macrophage on tumor growth
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(02):-
Present studies have proved that tumor in-situ is infiltrated with plenty of macrophages (M?), M? may contribute up to or more than half of a tumor’s mass. It’s frustrated that as the main component of immune system, M? promote the tumor growth, and create a suitable microcircumstance to promote the progression of tumor as well. The furtherknowledge of the mechanism mentioned focusing on finding the new way to anti-tumor clinical research were reviewed.

Journal of Clinical Surgery 2001;0(04):-
Objective 7 cases of thoracic spinal cord injury without radiographic abnormality (SCIWORA) were analyzed to elevate the level of diagnosis and treatment. Methods The type of spinal cord injury were classified into complete injury in 2 and incomplete injury in 5 according to Frankel. 5 cases had MRI examination. Conservative therapy was adopted in 5, and operation was programmed in 2.Results 4 cases recovered completely , 2 cases recovered partly , and 1 case had no recovery. Conclusion MRI provides reliable foundation for diagnosis and treatment to thoracic SCIWORA. The result is satisfactory in those incomplete injury.

Chinese Journal of Radiology 2000;0(12):-
Objective To assess the contribution of CT perfusion in the quantitative diagnosis of meningiomas Methods The CT perfusion imaging was performed in 13 patients (including 2 recurrent meningiomas) by using Somatom Plus 4 helical CT The color map of relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV), relative cerebral blood flow (rCBF), and mean transit time (MTT) was obtained by perfusion software, and rCBF, rCBV, and MTT were calculated in different areas Then the perfusion parameters and its mean ratios between tumor and contralateral normal brain tissue (CNBT) in each group of different pathologic types of meningiomas were compared using an unpaired or a paired Student t test Results The rCBV, rCBF, and MTT of meningiomas were significantly higher than those of CNBT [rCBV:(16 125?12 135) ml/100 g vs (2 158?1 345) ml/100 g, P 0 05) The characteristic time density curve (TDC) with high peaks was seen in 5 cases The rCBV and rCBF of 4 cases with peritumor brain edema were significantly lower than those of CNBT Conclusion CT perfusion imaging can not only provide quantitative information of meningiomas blood flow and show characteristic dynamic TDC, but also is useful in assessing pathology of tumor and demonstrating lower perfusion in peritumor brain edema and diagnosis of recurrent meningiomas

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 1998;0(12):-
Objective To compare the influence of the dynamic device(DD) of pedicle screw fixation and its equivalent rigid device (RD) on bone mineral density and bone structure of the vertebrae. Methods 24 goats were randomly divided into 4 groups: control group, single posterolateral fusion group, dynamic device with posterolateral fusion group and rigid device with posterolateral fusion group. After 24 weeks postoperative observation, the animals were sacrificed and the fixed lumbar spines were harvested. The bone mineral density (BMD) of these harvested specimens was measured by quantitative computed tomography (QCT). Then the L3 segment was embedded in methyl methacrylate and sectioned after alcoholic dehydration. Undecalcified slides (50 ?m in thickness) were stained with toluidine blue. Quantitative histologic analysis was performed in a semiautomatic way. The static parameters consisted of trabecular bone volume (TBV), the mean trabecular plate thickness (MTPT) and mean trabecular spacing (Tb.Sp). The main dynamic histomorphometric parameter, bone mineralization rate (MAR), was calculated by measuring the mean distance between two flurochrome labelings. Results The BMD in the rigid device group decreased significantly compared with control group (P
