With advancement of endoscopical instruments and technique, gallstone diseases can be managed with laparoscopic cholecystectomy which has rapidly and radically changed the surgical treatment of gallstone diseases. The ideas of laparoscopic surgery was introduced by Germany gynecologist Semm, in 1967 and was first performed by French surgeon Mouret, Dubois in 1987. Although many reports of early laparoscopic cholecystectomy were excellent, many surgeons want to know the surgical results of laparoscopic cholecystectomy are enough good to perform comparing with the conventional cholecystectomy, especially in early complications and late complications. Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society 2003;33(2):195-198
We report a case of central neurocytoma that was located in the frontal lobe with high proliferative index. A 49-year old man was admitted complaining of a generalized seizure. On magnetic resonance imaging, a mass was detected in the right frontal and the preoperative radiological impression was oligodendroglioma. Light and electron microscopic with immunohistochemical examination revealed features of central neurocytoma. Radiotherapy was added because of the aggressive features of this tumor(Ki-67 labeling index 10%). Although cerebral central neurocytoma with a high proliferative index is rare and the long-term results of this tumors have not been studied, our case and other cases in the literatures suggest the need for postoperative radiotherapy.

The amniotic band syndrome is a collection of congenital deformities presurmably due to rupture of amniotic sac. It appears to cause fetal injury through three basic mechanisms including malformation, disruption, and deformation. The associated anomalies vary firom minor digital defect to major craniofacial and visceral defects. They can be categorized as neural tube-like defects, craniofacial anomalies, limb anomalies, abdominal and thoracic wall defects, visceral anomalies, and constriction bands. We had expericnced a case of severe congenital craniofacial anomaly due to amniotic bands diagnosed by ultrasonogram in the antenatal period is presented with a brief review of the literatures.

Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disorder, caused by the presence of anti-ac- etylcholine receptor antibody or acetylcholine-receptor deficiency and involved neuro- muscular endplate. The clinical course and outcome of myasthenia gravis are variable during pregnancy. The special caution and adequate management for myasthenic mother and myasthenia gravis occurred newborn of myasthenic mother are essential for good perinatal outcomes. We experienced a case of myasthenia gravis associated with pregnancy who underwent cesarean section. We present this case with a brief review of literatures.

Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) is one of the most common congenital heart diseases. A rare complication occurring after its surgical treatment is the development of an aneurysm, and we report the radiologic findings in a case in which this occurred after surgical ligation.

Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing 1999;29(1):21-33
This study was designed to develop a basic plan for computerization of nursing records. The subjects were 7 nursing record forms, 58 charts, 23 nurses, 2 nurses managers, a nurse and computer specialist, 16 master course students and 3 professors. Data collection was conducted through questionnaire, observation and interview. The collected data were analyzed for problems, plan of improvement and needs for computerization. Based upon these results, it is recommended that nursing record computerization was needed a basic plan to integrate needs of nursing record computerization. The basic plan as follows: 1. To illustrate a data flow path of nursing record and data dictionary that show nurse's work and record process. 2. To establish a system in order to use multi-tasking and graphic user interface. 3. To establish hardware and software in order to embody integrated management of computer based system through structured walk through. 4. To choose effective database management system and to achieve Log as record unit.
