Trichoepithelioma. so named by Jarisch(1894), is a rare benign neoplasm of the skin on face and eyelid. The solitary type which is the most usual form seen in the eyelid occurs mainly in adult, on the other hand multiple type begin to appear at adolescence or puberty as a dominantly inherited condition. A 21 year-old korean female was found to have trichoepithelioma in her left lower eyelid mangm.

A case of sporotrichosis misdiagnosed as lupus vulgaris was presented. A 56-year-old woman had been to pea sized, nontender pustules and a hypertrophic-scar-like nodule on the right thigh. She denied any trauma before the lesions developed. Histopathologic findings from the lesion showed tuberculosis-like granulomatous changes. And she was diagnosed as lupus vulgaris. She also had pulmonary tuberculosis and had been treated with antituberculous drugs for 1 year. But skin lesions was not cleared. We suspected the lesions as one of deep mycoses and could confirm sporotrichosis by mycologic studies. They showed characteristic gross colonies and microscopic findings of Sporothrix schenckii..

Annals of Dermatology 1992;4(1):32-36
Paget's disease of the breast occurs almost exclusively in women, and is characterized by a unilateral, sharply defined eczematous skin lesion caused by epidermal metastases from underlying ductal adenocarcinoma of the breast. Paget's disease of the male breast is extremely rare. A 61-year-old patient had a skin lesion on the right nipple for 1 year. The lesion was a well defined, brownish, crusted, and keratotic papule, and was associated with an underlying walnut sized, fixed, hard mass and a palpable ipsilateral axillary lymph node. Histologic findings were consistent with Paget's disease. Results of immunoperoxidase staining technigues for S-100 protein and carcinoembryonic antigen were negative. After a modified radical mastectomy and chemotherapy, the patient has been in remission for 12 months.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1992;30(6):761-768
Trichophyton verrucosum is a worldwide zoophilic dermatophye. The human infection was first reported in t.he South western part of Korea in 1986 and Fas been increasing in Taegu area. Thirty-one strains of T. verrucosum isolated from the patients in Taegu area were investigated for their mycological features. Gross observation on Sabot rauds dextrose agar, microscopic examination by scotch tape method and slide culture or Sabourauds dextrose agar and potato dextrose agar, and hair perforation test were perforn ed at 37C. The averages of the largest dimensions of the colonies were .9mm at 2 weeks and 59mm at 4 weeks. The morphologic features of the colonies were clasified into three types. Eighteen of 31 strains showed flatwhitish, disc-like colonies with suvmerging hyphae, 11 strains had large radiating follows on the center of the colonies, and 2 strains showed colonies having diffuse fine folds on their surfaces with well-defined borders. On microscopic exaniination, many chlamydospores, antlerlive hyphae, oval and clavate microconidia, and rat tail or string bean shaped macroconidia were observed. It seemed that observation on potato dextrose agar during 10 to 14 days af er inoculation was suitable method for microscopic examination of T. verrucosum. All 31 strains showed positive reaction on hair perforation test.

We report a case of piroxicam-induced photosensitive dermatitis in a 54-year-old female. She had taken oral piroxicam and was exposed to the sunlight on her way home for a few minutes. Several hours after the sun-exposure she developed well-defined, confluent, erythematous plaques and numerous vesicobullae with pruritus and prickling sensation on the sun-exposed areas. A phototest was done on her first visit. The minimal erythemogenic dose (2 J/cm²) of ultraviolet (UV) A was markedly decreased whereas that of UVB was within a normal limit. Visible light irradiation for 30 minutes did not cause skin lesions. Six months after the initial skin lesions, a photopatch test with 1% and 10% piroxicam solution followed by UVA (10 J/cm²) irradiation showed positive responses on both concentrations.

8.Clinical and Fluorescein Angiographic Studies on the Central Serous Retinopathy.
Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 1979;20(3):329-341
The author investigated the distribution of sex and age, site of affected eye, numbers of leaking point, recurrent rate and detached size, leaking site, onset and visual acuity of each type of 104 cases of retinal fluorescein angiographic findings of central serous retinopathy of Ophthalmic Department of Hanyang University Hospital from April 1978 to March 1979. Each type according to the leaking pattern on fluorescein angiography are characteristically 'classified as follows: Type A; Leaking point was unremarkable (C.S.R. clinically). Type B; Leaking point appeared at early arterial phase and increased in density gradually but the size of leaking area was not changed (R.P.E. detachment). Type C; Leaking point appeared at early arterial phase and increased concentrically in the density and size (round serous detachment). Type D; Leaking point appeared at early arterial phase and increased vertically in the density and size (mushroom-shaped serous detachment). Type E; Retinal hyperfluorescent was appeared at early arterial phase but gradually fade out (scar formation). The results are as follows: 1) Male was more frequently affected (94.2%). 2) Third and fourth decades were more frequently affected (89.2%). 3) Unilateral involvement was noted (94.2%) without difference of both eyes. 4) In each eye, one leaking point was most frequently observable (65.9%). 5) The recurrent rate was frequently observable on fluorescein angiographic findings (40.4%). 6) The detached size of type B was limitted under the one disc diameter and the detached size of type C and D especially type D was more larger than type B. 7) The site of leaking point had tendency to be located superiorly without significant differences of each type (superior area; 43.6%, macular area; 38.4%, and inferior area; 17.8%). 8) Comparing the onsets of each type, type D and A could be seen within 3 months, and type B could be observable within six months, but the other types could be found from one week to over one year. 9) In general, the visual acuity was severely disturbed in type D rather than the other types. And the visual disturbance was remarkable in the case of macular involvement and large serous detachment.

Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 1982;23(3):713-717
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is the most common and the most severe Gram-negative corneal pathogen. Pseudomonas keratitis often arises from the use of a contaminated fluorescein solution or from contaminated medications used either to examine or to treat a corneal abrasion or injury. Pseudomonas keratitis is an acute rapidly progressive corneal ulcer with greenish pus and hypopyon. A 49 year old Korean woman was found to have pseudomonas keratitis whose clinical features. were different from the classic pattern of pseudomonas keratitis.
