Objective To observe the effects of transdermal acupoint electric stimulation(TEAS)assisting sodium nitroprus-side induced controlled hypotension on serum glucose (Glu),angiotensin Ⅱ (ATⅡ)and superoxide dismutase (SOD),and to inves-tigate the protective effect of TEAS under controlled hypotension anesthesia. Methods 60 cases undergoing elective endoscopy si-nus surgery by adopting sodium nitroprusside induced controlled hypotension under general anaesthesia maintained the mean arterial pressure(MAP)in 50-60 mm Hg and were randomly and equally divided into two groups. The group Ⅰ conducted TEAS,while the group Ⅱ did not conduct TEAS.The controlled hypotension time and surgery time were recorded in the two groups;Glu and ATⅡ values were detected before anesthesia (T0 ),30 min after hypotension (T1 ),hypotension stopping(T2 );SOD was detected at T0 ,T2 ,30 min after hypotension(T3 ).Results The operation time and controlled hypotension continuous time had no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P >0.05).The Glu value in the group Ⅰ had no statistically significant difference a-mong the 3 time points, while which at T1 ,T2 was higher than that at T0 in the group Ⅱ(P <0.05),and which at T1 ,T2 in the group Ⅱ was higher than that in the group Ⅰ (P <0.05);the ATⅡ value at T1 was higher than that at T0 in the group Ⅰ (P <0.05),while which at T1 ,T2 was higher than that at T0 in the group Ⅱ(P >0.05),which at T1 ,T2 in the group Ⅱwas higher than that in the group Ⅰ (P <0.05);the SOD value at T2 was lower than that at T0 in the group Ⅰ,which at T2 ,T3 in the group Ⅱwas lower than that in the group Ⅰ(P <0.05).Conclusion TEAS assisting sodium nitroprusside controlled hypotension can better in-hibit the stress response.

Objective:To investigate the assessment and occurrence of first-occured venous thromboembolism(VTE) among hospitalized patients. Methods:The clinical data of 6 532 surgical patients in Shenzhen Hospital, Peking University who were admitted from May 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021 were collected and analyzed retrospectively. The demographic data, Caprini score at admission and the incidence of VTE during hospitalization were analyzed by two independent sample t test and chi square test. Results:The Caprini score at admission of 6 532 patients was 1.81 ± 1.71. The number of cases in high, medium and low risks was 363 (5.6%), 1 189 (18.2%), 4 980 (76.2%), respectively. There was significant difference in VTE risk assessment scores and grades in different gender ( t=5.31, χ 2=48.31), length of stay ( F=195.21, χ 2=548.52) and hypertension ( t=17.07, χ 2=280.89), diabetes ( t=12.14, χ 2=51.18), smoking ( F=31.71, χ 2=53.23) and drinking ( F=18.78, χ 2=30.07) ( P<0.05). Forty-four(0.7%) patients got hospital-acquired VTE totally, among which, 24 cases (6.6%) were in high-risk, 14 cases (1.2%) were in medium-risk and 6 cases (0.1%) were in low-risk. What′s more, the top five VTE risky departments based on the assessment were not completely consistent with the top five departments with the highest incidence of VTE. Conclusions:The hospitalized patients are at high risk of VTE. The risk factors of diabetes, hypertension, smoking, drinking and other related factors should be included in the evaluation model. Meanwhile, the VTE risk assessment of in-patients should be emphasized and prophylactic treatments should be taken to reduce the incidence of VTE.

OBJECTIVETo look for optimum extraction techniques for oleuropein by boiling olive leaves at low temperature and reduced pressure.
METHODAccording to single factor experiment (SFE) design, the effects of seven factors, the impact of seven factors, type of solvent, temperature, time, ratio of material to liquid, ethanol concentration, vacuum degree and extraction times, on extraction yield of oleuropein were investigated. Based on the results of SFE, four more important factors, temperature, time, ratio of material to liquid and ethanol concentration, were selected in L9 (3(4)) orthogonal experiment (OE) to compare with those extracted with traditional methods.
RESULTThe optimum conditions for boiling extraction of oleuropein at low temperature and reduced pressure were as follows: temperature 60 degrees C, time 20 min, ratio of material to liquid 1:30 and ethanol concentration 85%. The conditions presented an extraction yield of 5.90%.
CONCLUSIONCompared with traditional extraction methods and the ultrasound assisted extraction method, boiling extraction techniques at low temperature and reduced pressure were so quick and efficient that it has a good application prospect.

Chloral hydrate is a safe and effective sedative hypnotic medicine. Patients can usually calm down or fall asleep quickly after taking it. It has great clinical value and practical needs in children ’s sedation. However ,the nature of chloral hydrate itself and various factors such as ambient temperature and light affect its stability of the preparation ,most of chloral hydrate preparations are still used in clinic in the form of hospital preparations. Therefore ,developing chloral hydrate preparation with single dose ,long validity period and automatic mass production is the prospect and goal of its subsequent development. Based on it,this study collects and reviews the relevant literatures on various preparations of chloral hydrate and their clinical application by searching the Chinese and English databases.
