Objective: To revise the Griffith Mental Development Scales and establish the norm being suited to the Chinese local conditions. Methods: The standardized sample consisted of 2022 children aged 0 to 7 years old was collected in a stratified and random way according to city rank, age, sex, paternal occupations. Each subject was tested individually and filled in a form. Results: The total sample had better representation. The mean of GQ was about 100, and the distribution of GQ is normal. Item analysis indicated that the item difficulty was about 0.5 and discrimination was from 0.62 to 0.78. A few orders of items were revised. The scorer reliability was 0.953. The test-retest reliability was 0.948. The correlation coefficients were 0.481 to 0.854 among the sub-scales or between sub-scales and General DQ. The result of exploratory factor analysis had three factors. The ratio of variance was 79.8%.Conclusion:Griffith Mental Development Scales have ideal reliability and validity.

[Objective]To evaluate the usability of endoscopy for the diagnosis of rhinorrhea.[Methods]An analysis was made on the rhinorrhea figure and letter data among 100 cases undergone endoscopy via the route of nasal cavity.All the cases were diagnosed as rhinorrhea.[Results]All of the cases were seen turbinates tumescence or mucous hyperemia and edema changes.Different changes reflected asthenia or sthenia of the 4 types of syndrome.[Conclusions]It is very valuable for combining endoscopy with TCM in the diagnosis with syndrome differentiation of rhinorrhea.

Objective To evaluate the effect of surgical treatment in facial nerve paralysis.Methods Clinical data of 29 cases in facial nerve paralysis were retrospectively analyzed.All of the 29 cases of facial paralysis,18 cases is the suppurative otitis media,9 cases is the temporal bone fracture,2 cases is the neoplasms of the temporal bone.The 29 cases of facial nerve paralysis were surgical treatment.8 cases by vertical segment or horizontal segment of facial nerve decompression,19 cases by the stylomastoid foramen to the geniculate ganglion of facial nerve decompression,2 cases by the itratemporal course of facial nerve decompression.1 case was underwent end-to-end anastomosis,2 cases of the greater auricular or the sural nerve graft for repairing facial nerve defect.All data were analyzed with Rank sum test.Results Makes a follow-up visit for 6～18 months,the facial nerve function(House-Brackman grading system)before the technique Ⅱ 6.9%,Ⅲ17.2%,Ⅳ34.5%,Ⅴ 31.0%,Ⅵ 10.3%,after the technique,restores Ⅰ 6.9%,Ⅱ27.6%,Ⅲ27.6%,Ⅳ 24.1%,Ⅴ 13.8%,statistics analysis facial nerve function restoreS has the significance difference(P＜0.005).Conclusions The facial nerve decompression and the nerve graft are useful method to treat facial paralysis.Surgical treatment of facial paralysis is satisfied in the suppurative otitis media and the temporal bone fracture.

ABSTRCT OBJECTIVE:To analyze the correlation between contents of active ingredients in Hedysarum polybotrys and ecologi-cal factors. METHODS:HPLC was used for the simultaneous determination of calycosin and formononetin in H. polybotrys;UV spectrophotometry was used to determine the content of hedysari polysaccharide;and hot-dip method was used to determine the con-tent of extracts in H. polybotrys. Factor analysis method was used to analyze the correlation between contents of active ingredients and ecological factors. RESULTS:4 common factors,which were heat,geography,illumination and precipitation,were extracted. The heat was an ecological dominant factor influencing the quality of H. polybotrys. And ≥10 ℃ accurnulated temperature was the most significant variate influencing hedysari polysaccharide,latitude was the most significant variate influencing the contents of ca-lycosin and formononetin H. polybotrys;and annual averge amount of radiation was the most significant variate influencing content of extracts in H. polybotrys. CONCLUSIONS:Different ecological factors have different effects on the contents of active ingredi-ents in H. polybotrys,and it is the result of the combined effect of various of ecological factors.

Objective To evaluate the quality of Hedysari Radix from different producing areas in Gansu Province by setting Hedysari Radix from different producing areas in Gansu Province as study subjects and trace elements in Hedysari Radix as evaluation indexes; To provide the references for establishment of the quality standards of Hedysari Radix.Methods The content of Fe, Cu, Ca, Mn, Zn, Mg, Cr, Co, Na, Li, Ni and K in Hedysari Radix were detected by using flame atomic absorbption method. Data were analyzed by the factor analysis conducted by SPSS21.0 software. The common factors were extracted by principal component and analytic function for quality comprehensive ranking was established.ResultsThree common factors were extracted, namely F1, F2, and F3. The quality function was Y=0.657F1+0.119F2+0.089F3. Cr, Li, Co, Cu, Zn, Fe and Mg were the characteristic trace elements of Hedysari Radix that could affect the quality of Hedysari Radix. When the quality of Hedysari Radix was evaluated by the contents of trace elements, the quality of wild Hedysari Radix were better than cultivated Hedysari Radix and the quality rank was consistent with the idea that Longnan is the main producing area of Hedysari Radix. The quality of samples from Dingxi area was better.Conclusion The quality evaluation of Hedysari Radix based on trace elements shows the differences in Hedysari Radix from different producing areas in Gansu Province and the results are relatively reasonable.

Objective To observe the influence of early postoperative feeding in the healing of intestinal anastomosis in rabbits,and to clarify preliminarily the relationships between early postoperative feeding after gastrointestinal surgery and gastrointestinal anastomotic fistula formation and healing time in rabbits.Methods 48 rabbits were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, then they were treated with gastrointestinal anastomosis.The rabbits in experimental group were fed with liquid diet 24 h after operation,and the rabbits in control group were fed nothing after operation and supplied by total parenteral nutrition.Two rabbits of each group were selected for exploratory laparotomy on the 3rd,5th,7th,10th and 15th day after operation,and the healing rate of anastomosis,the anastomotic bursting pressure,the anastomotic breaking strength,and the hychoxyproline level of anastomosis were observed.Results The healing rate of anastomosis in control group was 91.6%(22/24), and the healing rate of anastomosis in experimental group was 95.8%(23/24),there was no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).The anastomotic bursting pressures of the rabbits in two groups were decreased remarkably at the 72nd hour after operation,which was the lowest point,and they were increased remarkably on the 5th day after operation,but the anastomic bursting pressure in experimental group was a little lower than that in control group,and it reached the peak on the 7th day after operation in control group. On the 10th day after operation,the anastomic bursting pressure in control group was a little lower than that on the 7th day after operation,but the anastomic bursting pressure in experimental group reached the peak.There were no significant differences of anastomic bursting pressure at different time points between two groups(P>0.05).The anastomotic breaking strength had no significant difference between two groups at the 72nd hour after operation,both of them reached the lowest points,however the anastomtic breaking strengths in two groups were increased remarkably on the 10th day after operation,and reached the peaks.but there were no significant differences of anastomic breaking strength at different time points between two groups (P>0.05 ). The hychoxyproline level of anastomosis:in experimental group was a little lower than that in control group at the 72tnd hour after operation,and both of them reached the peaks on the 7th day after operation;but there were no significant differences of hychoxyproline levels of anastomosis at different time points between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Early postoperative feeding can not cause the increase of anasmotic healing time and the incidence rate of gastrointestinal anastomotic fistula.

Objective To study the inhibitory effect on proliferation of Hela cells of podophyllotoxin,4'-demethylepi-podophyllotoxin and drug combination of different proportion of nano-sillca (SiO2) and 4'-demethylepi-podophyllotoxin in vitro,and discuss the mechanism.Methods Used ethyl silicate hydrolysis method to prepare 25 nm SiO2 sample,next carried 4'-demethylepi-podophyllotoxin after the surface modification,and measure cell campatibility by MTT method and Hoechst 33342.The inhibitory effect of podophyllotoxin,4'-demethylepi-podophyllotoxin and drug combination on proliferation of Hela cells was measured by MTT assay.Hoechst 33342 staining method was used to detect cell apoptosis.The effect ofdmg combination treatment on cell morphology was observed by inverted microscope.Western blotting technique was used to detected effect of 4'-demethylepi-podophyllotoxin and drug combination on expression of apoptosis related protein.Results Inhibitory effect onproliferation of Hela cells of 4'-demethylepi-podophyllotoxin is superior to podophyllotoxin,inhibitory effect of drug combination is superior to the single 4'-demethylepi-podophyllotoxin,the inhibition of drug combination with 0.125 μg/mL nano SiO2 and 6.25 μg/mL 4'-demethylepi-podophyllotoxin is the most obvious.MTT and Hoechst 33342 experimental results showed that the 25 nm SiO2 have good cell compatibility.Podophyllotoxin,4'-demethylepi-podophyllotoxin and drug combination can induce apoptosis.Western blotting results showed that 4'-demethylepi-podophyllotoxin and drug combination can up-regulate the ratio of Bax/Bcl-2 and the expression level of Caspase-3、P53 and P38.Conclusion In vitro experimental performance of drug combination is superior to single 4'-demethylepi-podophyllotoxin,it is may by effecting the expression of Bcl-2,Bax,Caspase-3,P53,and P38 and others apoptosis related protein to induce Hela cell apoptosis.

Objective:To investigate the expression of Plk1 ( Polo-like kinase 1 ) and Chk1/2 ( Checkpoint kinase 1/2 ) in primary hepatic carcinoma tissue and HepG2 cell. Methods: Using immunohistochemistry chemical method detected expression of Plk1,Chk1/2 protein in 40 cases of primary hepatic carcinoma tissue and 16 cases of non-tumor tissue of liver. Western blot was applied to detect the expression of Plk1 and Chk1/2 protein in HepG2 cells, and gray value was measured by using the quantitative analysis. Results:The positive rate of Plk1,Chk1/2 protein expression in primary hepatic carcinoma was 57. 5%,75. 0% and 22. 5%respectively,compared with positive rate in the liver of non-tumor tissue were 0%,25. 0% and 56. 3%. The expression of Plk1 and Chk1 protein in primary hepatic carcinoma tissue is higher than that in non-tumor tissue of liver,and the difference was statistically sig-nificant( P<0. 05 ) . The expression of Chk2 in primary hepatic carcinoma was lower than that in hepatic non-tumor tissue, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0. 05) too. The expression of Plk1,Chk1/2 protein were detected in HepG2 cells and the relative expression rate of Plk1,Chk1/2 protein were 0.39±0.0226,0.08±0.0249 and 0.01±0.0066 respectively,the difference between them was statistically significant. The expression degree was Plk1>Chk1>Chk2. Conclusion: Plk1,Chk1 protein in primary hepatic carcinoma was up-regulated,while Chk2 protein was down-regulated in these tissues. The expression degree was Plk1> Chk1>Chk2. There were relatively selective expression in primary hepatic carcinoma tissue of Plk1,Chk1 protein,then Plk1 and Chk1 might be ideal targets for therapy of primary hepatic carcinoma.

Objective:To investigate the expression and biological significance of MicroRNA-204 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Methods: qRT-PCR was applied to detect the relative expression of miR-204 in 43 paired nasopharyngeal carcinoma in comparison to the normal nasal mucosa tissues. Pearson chi-square test was used to analyze the relationship between the miR-204 expression and clinical features. The expressions of Bcl-2 and SIRT1 were measured by immunohistochemistry ( IHC ) , Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between miR-204 and Bcl-2,as well as SIRT1. We then transfected the miR-204 mimics into CNE-2 cells,then the Western blot was used to detect the expression of Bcl-2 and SIRT1,which were considered as the potential targets of miR-204. Results:The relative expressions of miR-204 was significantly downregulated in NPC tissues compared to those of the matched normal tumor-adjacent tissues(P<0. 05). Low expression of miR-204 was significantly associated with lymphatic metastasis(P<0. 05) and advanced TNM stage(Ⅲ+Ⅳ,P<0. 05). The expressions of Bcl-2 and Sirt1 in lower miR-204 level group were both higher than in higher miR-204 level group ( P<0. 05 ) . Both the mRNA and protin expression in CNE-2 cells were down-regulated after transfection. Conclusion: Low expression of miR-204 is related to the malignant clinicopathological features in NPC tissues,and miR-204 may through down-regulate Bcl-2 and SIRT1 to suppress NPC genesis and development.

Objective To analyze the characteristic changes of trace elements from Hedysari Radix in different months;To provide references for the choice of the best harvest periods. Methods Trace elements of Hedysari Radix from different months (June, July, August, September, October and November) were determined by atomic absorption spectroscopy and analyzed by single factors analysis of variance, correlation analysis, cluster analysis and factors analysis. Results There was obvious significance between the contents of Cu and Co (P<0.05), and there was obvious significance among the contents of Fe, Ca, Mn, Zn, Mg, Cr, Na, Li, Ni and K (P<0.01). The results of correlation analysis showed that months had positive correlation with Cu, had a negative correlation with Fe, Na, Mn, Cr and Li contents, and had significantly negative correlation with Ca, Mg contents. Mn, Cr, Ni, K and Na were the characteristics of trace elements from Hedysari Radix in different months. The different months samples could be divided into two categories of June, July, August, September samples (Ⅰ) and October, November samples (Ⅱ). Conclusion There is close relationship between the contents of trace elements from Hedysari Radix and months. The information and metabolic patterns of trace elements from Hedysari Radix in June, July, August, September (immature) samples are close or similar;the information of trace elements in October, November (nearly mature or maturing) samples are close or similar. Study on harvest times of Hedysari Radix by trace element as an indicator is with certain rationality.
