ObjectiveTo evaluate correlation factors of cervical lymph nodes metastasis in thoracic esophageal carcinoma.MethodsLocal-regional metastasis of lymph node for 126 cases with esophageal squamous cell cancer after surgery from 2004 to 2009 were reviewed.Risk factors of cervical lymph nodes metastasis were examined by multiple Logistic regression analysis.ResultsIn 126 cases, supraclavicular lymph node metastasis rate was 43.7% (55/126).By logistic regression, none of the primary site,T stage,N stage, histological grade, lymph node metastasis rate, lymph node metastasis degree and number of lymph nodes metastatic field was not the high risk of cervical lymph nodes metastasis. In addition, multivariate analysis found that lymph node metastasis in mediastinum region 1 was high risk factor for lymph node metastasis of region 1 ( x2 =12.14,9.27,P =0.000,0.002),lymph node metastasis in region Ⅲ and region 2 were high risk factors for lymph node metastasis of region Ⅱa ( x2 =14.56,8.27,8.02,3.93,P =0.000,0.004,0.005,0.047 ).ConclusionMediastinal para-recurrent nerve lymph node metastasis is a significant predictor for cervical lymph nodes metastasis.

Objective:To study the efficacy of closed reduction with a self-developed T-frame plus robotic navigation in the treatment of supracondylar humeral fractures of Gartland type Ⅲ in children. Methods:A retrospective study was conducted to analyze the data of 67 children with supracondylar fracture of Gartland type Ⅲ who had undergone surgery at The Fifth Hospital of Harbin from January 2023 to March 2024. There were 35 males and 32 females with an age of (5.6±1.2) years. The children were divided into 2 groups according to different surgical methods. The control group (33 cases) was treated by closed reduction and internal fixation with percutaneous K-wire and the study group (34 cases) by closed reduction with a self-developed T-frame plus robotic navigation for internal fixation with percutaneous K-wire. The operation time, anatomical reduction, intraoperative fluoroscopy frequency, intraoperative needle adjustment, Flynn score at the last follow-up and complications were compared between the 2 groups. Results:There was no significant difference in the preoperative general data between the 2 groups, indicating comparability ( P>0.05). All children were followed up for (6.3±2.5) months after surgery. There were no significant differences in operation time, Flynn score at the last follow-up or incidence of complications between the study and the control groups ( P>0.05). The rate of anatomical reduction in the study group (97.1%, 33/34) was significantly higher than that in the control group (54.5%, 18/33), and the intraoperative fluoroscopy frequency [(11.6±2.5) times] and needle adjustment (5.6±1.2) times in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group [(37.2±2.1) times and (28.7±3.9) times] ( P<0.05). Conclusions:In the treatment of supracondylar humeral fractures of Gartland type Ⅲ in children, our self-developed T-frame can play a good role in fracture reduction and temporary fixation, avoiding iatrogenic secondary injuries caused by freguent reduction and adjustment of needle threading in the course of robotic navigation.

Estrogen receptor (esr) mediates the effects of estrogen on the expression of related genes, thereby regulating the growth and reproduction of mammals. To investigate the effect of retrotransposon insertion polymorphism (RIP) of the porcine esr gene on porcine growth performance, retrotransposon insertion polymorphism of the esr gene were predicted by comparative genomics and bioinformatics, and PCR was used to verify the insertion polymorphisms in different porcine breeds. Finally, the correlation analysis between the genotypes and performance of Large White pigs was conducted. The results showed that four retrotransposon polymorphic sites were identified in the esr1 and esr2 genes, which are esr1-SINE- RIP1 located in intron 2 of the esr1 gene, esr1-LINE-RIP2 and RIP3-esr1- SINE located in intron 5 of the gene, and esr2-LINE-RIP located in intron 1 of the esr2 gene, respectively. Among them, insertion of a 287 bp of SINE into intron 2 of the esr1 gene significantly affected (P<0.05) the live back fat thickness and 100 kg body weight back fat thickness of Large White pigs. Moreover, the live back fat thickness and back fat thickness at 100 kg body weight of homozygous with insertion (SINE+/+) was significantly greater than that of heterozygous with insertion (SINE+/-) and homozygous without insertion (SINE-/-). Therefore, esr1-SINE-RIP1 could be used as a molecular marker to assist the selection of deposition traits in Large White pigs.
