Aim Through interfering the expression of survivin with short hairpin RNA(shRNA) technology,to investigate the effect of downregulation of survivin on cell apoptosis and chemosensitivity to docetaxel in breast cancer MCF-7 cells.Methods(1) Using MCF-7 cells as a model system, three groups were set up transfected with lipofectamine,RNAi control plasmid and survivin RNAi plasmid, respectively. The expression of survivin in MCF-7 cells was measured at transcriptional and translational level by using RT-PCR and Western blot methods.(2) The effect on the cell cycle and apoptosis was analyzed with flow cytometry.(3) The viability of cells applied with different doses of ducetaxel was determined by using the method of 3-[4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide reduction(MTT method).Results(1) RT-PCR and Western blot demonstrated that survivin expression was significantly decreased by transfection with RNAi targeting plasmid;the expression proportion was reduced by nearly 75.4% and 79.8%(P

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2012;29(1):152-156
The article analyzes the old analysis method of tongue deviation and introduces a new analysis method of it with self-correction avoiding the shortcomings of the old method. In this article, comparisons and analyses are made to current central axis extraction methods, and the facts proved that these methods were not suitable for central axis extraction of tongue images. To overcome the shortcoming that the old method utilized area symmetry to extract central axis so that it would lead to a failure to find central axis, we introduced a kind of shape symmetry analysis method to extract the central axis. This method was capable of correcting the edge of tongue root automatically, and it improved the accuracy of central axis extraction. In additional, in this article, a kind of mouth corner analysis method by analysis of variational hue of tongue images was introduced. In the experiment for comparison, this method was more accurate than the old one and its efficiency was higher than that of the old one.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2018;38(9):1019-1026
OBJECTIVE:
To systematically evaluate the efficacy difference between warming acupuncture and other acupuncture methods in the treatment of primary obesity.
METHODS:
A computer-based retrieval was conducted at PubMed, EMBASE, CENTRAL, CINAHL, Alt HealthWatch, CNKI, CBM, WANFANG database and VIP database. Retrieval time was from the establishment date of database to October 4, 2017. Randomized controlled trial (RCT) of warming acupuncture comparing with other acupuncture methods for the treatment of primary obesity were included. The relative risk () and weighted mean difference ( ) were used as combined effects for categorical variables and continuous variables, respectively.
RESULTS:
Totally 13 RCTs were included involving 878 patients. The Meta-analysis indicated compared with other acupuncture methods, warming acupuncture could more reduce weight (: -1.49 kg, 95% : -2.53 to -0.45, =0.005), improve the total effective rate (=1.16, 95% : 1.09 to 1.24, <0.000 01), reduce BMI (: -1.24 kg/m, 95% : -2.34 to -0.14, =0.03), reduce waist circumference (: -1.65 cm, 95% : -2.53 to -0.76, =0.02) and reduce hip circumference (: -2.86 cm, 95% : -4.37 to -1.35, =0.000 2), but had no significant influence on total cholesterol (: -0.05 mmol/L, 95% :-0.98 to 0.88, =0.91).
CONCLUSION
The warming acupuncture has better efficacy on primary obesity than other acupuncture methods, but less effects on lipid indicators.
