Objective: To study the impact of basic medical insurance on household consumption. Methods: According to the panel data of the east, central and west regions from 2002 to 2011, time and entity fixed effect model (Two-way FE) is established to test the relationship between the basic medical insurance and household consumption. Results: The basic medical insurance has significant positive effects on consumption, the consumption increased 10%, 16% and 19% in regions of East, Middle and West, respectively. Conclusion: The construction and improvement of the social medical insurance system improve the growth of the consumption, and the government should enhance the security, and consider the regional differences at the same time.

Mammography imaging is one of the most demanding imaging modalities from the point of view of the bal- ance between image quality (the visibility of small size and/or low contrast structures) and dose (screening of many asymptomatic people). Therefore, since the introduction of the first dedicated mammographic units, many efforts have been directed to seek the best possible image quality while minimizing patient dose. The performance of auto- matic exposure control (AEC) is the manifestation of this demand. The theory of AEC includes exposure detection and optimization and also involves some accomplished methodology. This review presents the development and present situa- tion of spectrum optimization, detector evolution, and the way how to accomplish and evaluate AEC methods.

Objective:The present study was designed to explore the role of ER stress in cardiac hypertrophy of adult APPswe /PS1dE9 transgenic mice.Methods:10 adult APPswe/PS1dE9 transgenic mice and 10 C57BL/6 wild type (WT) mice were divided into the transgenic experimental and control group,WT experimental and control group,respectively,with 5 mice in each group.Experimental groups received a low dose ofIsoproterenol (ISO) (2 mg/kg) once a day for 4 weeks to induce cardiac hypertrophy,while control groups received the same volume of normal saline.After 4 weeks,the mice were anesthetized,followed by,electrocardiogram (ECG) recording and the measurement of the heart rate and body weight before being sacrificed.The heart was dissected out,and the masses of heart and the left ventricle were measured,the left ventricule mass index (LVW/BW) and the whole heart weight ratio (HW/BW) were calculated.HE staining was used to observe the pathological and morphological changes of cardiomyocytes,and Western Blot and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the expressions of ER stress relevant proteins-GRP78,JNK,P-JNK and CaMKII.Results:Compared with WT experimental mice,the ventricular wall in the APPswe/PS1dE9 transgenic experimental mice was apparently hypertrophic after the induction by low doses of ISO,and the HW/BW and the LVW/BW were also significantly increased in the APPswe/PS1dE9 transgenic experimental mice than those in the transgenic control mice,WT experimental and control mice (P＜0.05).HE staining showed that compared with the transgenic control mice,WT experimental and WT control mice,in the adult APPswe/PS1dE9 transgenic experimental mice,the cardiomyocyte diameter was obviously increased,cell density was decreased,the capillary density was decreased,the intercellular substance was increased,and the intercellular space was increased.Western blot showed that the expression of GRP78,p-JNK and CaMKII in the experimental group of adult APPswe / PS1dE9 transgenic mice were significantly higher than those in the transgenic control mice and WT mice (P＜0.05,P＜0.01).There were no significant difference among the control group oftransgenic mice and the two groups of WT mice.Immunohistochemistry showed that the positive rates of GRP78 and CaMKII in the cytoplasm of cardiomyocytes of the APPswe/PS1 dE9 transgenic experimental mice were significantly higher than those of experimental WT mice (80％&40 ％)(P＜0.05),and the expressions in the two control groups were negative.The positive rates of p-JNK and JNK in the APPswe/PS1dE9 transgenic experimental mice were 90％ and 40％ respectively,and the expressions were negative in other three groups.Conclusions:The adult APPswe/PSldE9 transgenic mice are more prone to cardiac hypertrophy than WT mice after the induction with a low dose of ISO.ER stress is involved in the formation of cardiac hypertrophy in adult APPswe/PS1dE9 transgenic mice.

BACKGROUND: Varicocele (VC) can induce the infertility in males, so the investigation on its mechanism is important for the treatment of male infertility. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the effects of VC induced by surgical operation on the contents of mitochondria calcium, cytochrome C and cell apoptosis as well as the changes of microstructure and ultrastructure in epididymis. DESIGN: Randomized control experiment. MATERIALS: The experiment was conducted in Jiamusi University between June 2003 and May 2004. Forty male adolescent Wistar rats with the average body mass of (220±20) g were selected, which were provided by the Animal Laboratory of Jiamusi University. Rats were randomly divided into sham-operation group and deligation group with 20 rats in each group at one week after feeding at room temperature. METHODS: Rats in the sham-operation group were made into sham-op eration models by exposing the left renal vein. Rats in the deligation group were deligated of partial left renal veins so as to establish VC models. Bilateral epididymides were removed at ten weeks after operation. The levels of mitochondria calcium in head and body of epididymis as well as the contents of cytochrome C and cytoplasm cytochrome C were detected. The cell apoptosis was detected by in situ terminal deoxynucleotityl transferase mediated dTUP nick end labeling (TUNEL) technique. The specimens of corpus epididymis were routinely made for observation under optimal microscope and electron microscope. The changes of microstructure and ultrastructure of epididymis were studied.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The contents of mitochondria calcium, cytochrome C and cytoplasm cytochrome C. Cell apoptosis. Changes of cellular morphous in epididymis. RESULTS: A total of 40 rats were involved in the analysis of results.① The contents of mitochondria calcium in bilateral epididymis were obviously decreased in the deligation group than the sham-operation group [(4.72±1.45), (5.90±1.97), (10.13±2.34) mg/g, (P ＜ 0.01)].②The content of mitochondria cytochrome C in right epididymis obviously increased more in the deligation group than the sham-operation group [(0.36±0.20), (0.19±0.14), (0.15±0.07) μmol/L (P ＜ 0.05)]. ③The contents of cytoplasm cytochrome C in bilateral epididymis greatly increased more in the deligation group than the sham-operation group [(8.17±1.49), (7.48 ± 1.60), (5.93±1.60) mol/L, (P ＜ 0.05)].④The apoptotic rate of bilateral cells in the deligation group was significantly increased than the sham-op eration group [( 13.3±1.9)%, ( 12.6±1.5)%, (6.2±0.3)%,(P ＜ 0.01 )]. However, there were no significant differences in mitochondria calcium, cytochrome C, cytoplasm cytochrome C and apoptotic rate between the left and right mitochondria of the deligation group (P ＞ 0.05).⑤Main changes under light microscope: cuctus epididymis shrinked, the blebbing appeared in epithelial cells, and the light cells as well as halo cells in epithelia were significantly increased. ⑥Main representation under electron microscope: the cytolysosome inside the chief cells were increased and enlarged with increased residual bodies, and the endoplasmic reticulum expanded, the mitochondria cristae was dim, the Golgi complex was vacuolated. Besides, nuclear chromatin were dense and in lump at different size, which located mainly in the nuclear membrane. The microvilli of columnar epithelial cells were sparse and local defects could be seen. CONCLUSION: The cytochrome C is released to kytoplasm via mitochondrial outer membrane, which activates the caspase 3 and leads to the apoptosis, and accordingly causes excessive apoptosis of epididymal tissues and as well as the changes of microstructure and ultrastructure. All these changes may be one of the important reasons of infertility resulting from VC.

Objective To investigate the correlation of changes in peripheral natural killer T(NKT) cells and fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods Peripheral blood samples were obtained from 60 NAFLD patients and 60 age and gender matched healthy controls.The frequency of peripheral NKT cells was detected by flow cytometry.The differences of clinical presentation and laboratory data in two groups were analyzed.The risk factors of NAFLD were screened by Logistic regression analysis. Objective To investigate the effects of tuina manipulation on creep rate and maximal breaking stress of contractural Achilles tendons of rabbits. Methods Twenty-four rabbits were randomly divided into contrac-tural Achilles tendon model group, free activities group and tuina manipulation group. The opposite legs of model group were used as normal controls. Creep rate and maximal breaking stress of Achilles tendons were compared among the 4 groups. Results The average creep rate in tuina manipulation group approximated to that in normal group and was lower than that in model and free activities groups. The average maximal breaking stress in tuina manipulation group approximated to that in normal group and was higher than that in model and free activities groups. Conclusion Tuina manipulation can promote the creep rate and maximal breaking stress of contractura Achilles tendon approximately to normal level. Tuina manipulation may be useful in rehabilitation.

Aim To study the effects of total saponins of Panax japonicus(TSPJ) on liver inflammation of natural aging rats.Methods The experimental rats were allocated into seven groups (twelve rats in each group): three months group, nine months group, fifteen months group, twenty-four months group, and TSPJ low-, mid-and high-dose groups(10, 30, 60 mg·kg-1).When the rats were eighteen months old, the TSPJ low-, mid-and high-dose groups of rats were given lavage treatments with TSPJ 10,30, 60 mg·kg-1 respectively until twenty-four months.During lavage, we stopped a day every week for six consecutive months.HE staining was used to observe the pathological morphological changes.Western blot was utilized to test IL-1β and TNF-α protein expressions.RT-PCR method was adopted to test IL-1β, IL-6, IL-12, IL-17α, TNF-α, IFN-γ mRNA expressions.Results HE staining observation showed that as the rats grew older the hepatic cord and sinusoid were arranged in more severe disorder, and the fat vacuole and inflammatory cells were increased significantly.While every dose group of TSPJ could improve these pathological changes distinctly.The IL-1β, TNF-α protein and IL-1β, IL-6, IL-12, IL-17α, TNF-α, IFN-γ mRNA expressions were increased gradually as the rats grew older, and every dose group of TSPJ could reduce their expressions to some extent.Conclusion TSPJ could protect the aging rat liver to some extent by inhibiting the liver inflammation.

Objective: To analyze the clinicopathological features of primary hyperthyroidism complicated with thyroid carcinoma. Methods: From January 2010 to July 2018, 418 patients complicated with thyroid cancer underwent thyroidectomy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University were retrospectively analyzed.According to thyroid function, 418 patients were divided into two group: A group(n=39) had hyperthyroidism with thyroid carcinoma, and B group(n=379) had normal thyroid function.The clinicopathological features of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results: There were no statistically significant differences in age, sex, tumor stage and tumor diameter between the two groups(all P>0.05). The lymph node metastasis rate in A group was 17.9%(7/39), which was higher than that in B group[6.1%(23/379)](χ²=5.814, P=0.016). The incidence rate of temporary hypoparathyroidism in A group was 28.2%(11/39), which was higher than that in B group[13.2%(50/379)](χ²=6.394, P<0.05). The local recurrence rate in A group was 5.1%(2/39), which was higher than that in B group[2.4%(9/379)], but there was no statistically significant difference(χ²=0.248, P=0.619). The 5-year disease-free survival rate in A group was 84.6%(33/39), which was lower than that in B group [95.8%(363/379)](χ²=6.740, P<0.05). Conclusion Hyperthyroidism complicated with thyroid carcinoma has high aggressive behavior and should be treated actively.

Objective:To investigate whether long non-coding RNA(lncRNA) AW112010 can improve insulin resistance in aging adipocytes through the miR-204/POU2F2 signaling pathway.Methods:In vivo experiment: C57BL/6 mice were divided into young control group(4 months old) and aging model group(18 months old) based on body weight. The expression levels of AW112010, miR-204-5p, POU2F2, aging related indicators(p16, p21), and insulin signaling pathway genes [insulin receptor(INSR), insulin receptor substrate 1(IRS1), phosphatidylinositol kinase(PI3K), protein kinase B(AKT)] in epididymal adipose tissue were detected using real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR) and Western blotting. In vitro experiment: Using adriamycin(ADR) to induce 3T3-L1 aging adipocyte model, β-gal staining was used to observe cellular senescence, and miR-204 inhibitor and miR-204 mimic small interfering RNA were successfully constructed and transfected into 3T3-L1 adipocytes. Results:RT-qPCR and Western blot results showed that compared with the young group, the expression of AW112010 in the adipose tissue of aging mice was increased, while the expression of miR-204-5p was decreased. The expressions of POU2F2, p16, and p21 in the adipose tissue of aging mice were increased, while the expressions of INSR, IRS1, PI3K, GLUT4 mRNA and protein were decreased. The β-gal stainging results showed that the number of 3T3-L1 senescent adipocytes induced by ADR was significantly increased, and the expression levels of AW112010, POU2F2, p16, and p21 in ADR-induced senescent adipocytes were increased compared with the control group, while the expression levels of miR-204-5p, INSR, IRS1, PI3K, GLUT4 were decreased, and remaining glucose in the culture medium was increased. Compared with control, overexpression of miR-204 resulted in decreased expressions of aging indicators p16, p21, and target gene POU2F2 while the expressions of INSR and GLUT4 were increased.Conclusion:Upregulation of lncRNA AW112010 in adipocytes of aging mice may induce insulin resistance by targeting miR-204-5p/POU2F2/IRS1.
