Objective To explore clinical efficacy of low molecular weight heparin combined isoproterenol inhalation in treatment of children with severe bronchial pneumonia.Methods 110 patients from Jan 2013 to Apr 2014 were collected and randomly divided into treatment group (57 cases)and control group(53 cases), control group was given anti infection,hormone, expectorant, oxygen and other symptomatic treatment, besides, inhaled with isoprenaline, bid,based on which treatment group was inhalaled with low molecular weight heparin sodium injection, qd, arterial blood gas indexes were compared between 2 groups after 72 h treatment, and clinical efficacy were compared after 5 d treatment.Results After 72 h treatment,two groups of children with pulmonary function, arterial blood gas index and airway inflammatory improved obviously;treatment group with PaO2 and PaO2/FiO2 were significantly higher than control group, while PaCO2, CRP were significantly lower than control group, the differences of all above indexes were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).Treatment group with wheezing, pulmonary rales, cough disappeared time were significantly lower than control group (P ＜ 0.05).After 5d treatment,treatment group with cure rate (50.9％ vs.37.7％)and total effective rate (98.2％ vs.94.3％)were both higher than control group, the differences were not statistically significant (P ＞ 0.05) .During inhalation, two groups with incidences of temporary heart rate rise (10.5 ％ vs.13.2) had no significant difference (x2 =0.189 P =0.663).Conclusion Based on conventional treatment for children with severe pneumonia,low molecular weight heparin combined with isoproterenol inhalation can improve pulmonary ventilation function,reduce airway inflammation,and improve clinical efficacy to a certain extent.

Objective To study the different patterns of hippocampal atrophy by MRI segmental analysis and to investigate the etiology and pathogenesis of temporal lobe epilepsy Methods GE 1 5 T Signa Horizon LX MRI scanner was used Oblique coronal T 1 weighted images perpendicular to the long axis of the hippocampus were obtained The mesial temporal structures were divided into four parts: the amygdala, hippocampal head, body and tail MRI patterns of atrophy in 50 patients with histologically confirmed hippocampal sclerosis were investigated by MRI volumetric measurement and segmental analysis, and the differences of clinical features and surgical outcome in different groups were compared Results Diffuse hippocampal atrophy was found in 22 of 50 patients (44%), 5 of the 50 patients (10%) showed diffuse atrophy involving both the amygdala and hippocampus 20 of the 50 patients (40%) had hippocampal focal atrophy and 8 of 50 patients (16%) had no obvious atrophy 38 of 50 (76%) hippocampal sclerosis had atrophy in the hippocampal body, 29 of 50 (58%) had hippocampal head atrophy, 24 of 50 (48%) had hippocampal tail atrophy, and the least involved part was the amygdala (16%, 8/50) 10 patients who had normal hippocampal volume showed focal hippocampal atrophy by segmental analysis Various patterns of hippocampal atrophy were found to be statistically related to the duration of epilepsy, the frequency of seizure and the outcome of surgery, respectively ( P 0 05) Conclusion MRI segmental analysis can improve the diagnostic sensitivity of temporal lobe epilepsy and help to investigate its etiology and pathogenesis

【Objective】 To analyze the correlation between deformational plagiocephaly and/or brachycephaly (DPB) and motor developmental delay in infants, so as to provide theoretical basis for early motor development screening and intervention in DPB infants. 【Methods】 A total of 7 826 children aged 6 - 12 months who visited Mianyang Maternal & Child Health Care Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were inlcuded in this study. DPB infants were selected as the study subjects, and the prevalence rate was analyzed. 2 761 DPB infants were divided into mild, moderate, and severe DPB groups, and 1 900 normal children were included as the control group. Peabody Developmental Motor Scale-2 (PDMS-2) was used to evaluate the levels of gross and fine motor development in children in each case group and control group. Univariate analysis and LSD-t test were used to analyze the differences in gross motor quotient (GMQ) and fine motor quotient (FMQ) of children in each group. χ² test was used to analyze the rate of motor developmental delay in children in each group. 【Results】 The prevalence rate of DPB was 35.47%. There were statistically significant differences in GMQ and FMQ among the mild DPB group, moderate DPB group, severe DPB group, and control group (F=171.271, 194.877, P<0.05). Further statistical comparison showed that there was no statistically significant difference in GMQ and FMQ between mild DPB group and control group (P>0.05). The GMQ and FMQ of the moderate and severe DPB groups were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the rate of developmental delay in gross and fine motor development between each case group and the control group (χ²=7.478, 5.777, P>0.05). 【Conclusions】 The prevalence of DPB in Mianyang area is relatively high, and DPB do not increase the probability of motor development delay. However, infants with moderate to severe DPB have significantly lower levels of motor development compared to healthy infants. It is recommended to screen infants with DPB as soon as possible, and conduct motor development screening and exercise promotion for infants with moderate to severe DPB.
