When mature adipocytes are subjected to an in vitro dedifferentiation strategy referred to as ceiling culture, these mature adipocytes can revert to dedifferentiated fat (DFAT) cells. DFAT cells have many advantages compared with adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs) and bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs). For example, DFAT cells are homogeneous and could be obtained from donors regardless of their age. Furthermore, DFAT cells also have the same multi-lineage potentials and low immunogenicity as ASCs. As an excellent source of seed cells for tissue engineering and stem cell transplantation, DFAT cells have better prospects in the treatment of many clinical diseases, such as bone defects, neurological diseases, ischemic heart disease and kidney disease. It is necessary to make more intensive studies of DFAT cells. This article summarizes progresses in the immunological characteristics, differentiation ability and potential clinical applications of DFAT cells.

Prostate cancer (PCa) incidence is increasing in China.Because of the limited clinical symptoms, early detection of PCa is critical and difficult.Current clinical diagnostic methods for localizing PCa including both the conventional anatomic imaging and histological techniques have many problems.Enormous novel PCa specific molecular probes have been evaluated. Those probes have substantially improved the diagnostic accuracy and specificity of PCa.This review briefly introduces the conventional noninvasive imaging techniques for PCa diagnosis.Nuclear medicine probes that have great clinical value for PCa molecular imaging are also discussed.

International Eye Science 2014;(8):1481-1483
AIM: To evaluate the clinical effect and the rotational stability of AcrySof Toric intraocular lens ( IOL ) implantation to correct preexisting corneal astigmatism in cataract surgery.
METHODS: Twenty-three patients ( 28 eyes ) were enrolled from the department of ophthalmology in the first Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. All patients underwent similar phacoemulsification procedure combined with AcrySof Toric IOL implantation from June 2012 to December 2013. The uncorrected visual acuity ( UCVA ) , best corrected visual acuity ( BCVA ) , anticipated residual astigmatism, postoperative residual astigmatism, and Toric IOL axis were detected and measured.
RESULTS:Three months after operation, the UCVA of all eyes were 0. 75±0. 16 and the BCVA were 0. 84±0. 15, there was no significant difference between UCVA and BCVA ( t = 1. 036, P>0. 05 ). The anticipated residual astigmatism was ( 0. 28±0. 12 ) D. The actual residual astigmatism after 3mo of the operation was (0. 42±0. 17) D. There was no significant difference between anticipated and actual residual astigmatism (t=1. 259, P>0. 05). The mean axis rotation of Toric IOL was 3. 02o±1.56o (0o-7o) after 1d of operation and 3. 28o±1. 85o (0o-7o) after 3mo. Among all the eyes, 25 eyes ( 89%) rotated <5o, in 3 eyes (11%) rotated 5o-7o.
CONCLUSION: The AcrySof Toric IOL implantation shows good effectiveness, predictability and stability in correcting pre-existing astigmatism in cataract patients.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To explore the levels of serum leptin and insulin and their relationships with growth and development in premature infants. Methods The serum leptin and insulin concentrations of 37 premature infants were examined by the radioimmunoassay(day 1 and day 10,respectively),and anthropometric measurements were performed at birth. The blood sugar and triglyeride, cholesterol were tested at the same time.Twenty full-term newborn without severe diseases were controlled in 24 h after delivery and the level of leptin and insulin of them were detected, too. The results were analyzed by SPSS 10.0 software. Results The leptin and insulin levels in preterm infants were significantly lower than those in full-term infants[(6.45?2.24)?g/L vs(8.56?1.33)?g/L,(5.84?1.07)IU/L vs(10.85?5.24)IU/L Pa0.05).Serum leptin was positive correlation with serum insulin(Pa0.05).Conclusions Serum leptin and insulin can be the markers that reflect intrauterine nutrition status of preterm infants and the growth and development of fetus.A dipoinsular axis may be functional before 34 weeks gestation without maturity. The changes of leptin and insulin concentrations are useful for metabolism and growth in preterm infants.
7. Optimization of infiltration process of Astragali Radix based on HPLC-DAD- ELSD and response surface design
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2020;51(24):6196-6204
Objective: To optimize the infiltration process of Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus var. mongholicus) medicinal materials by Box-Behnken response surface method. Methods: Based on the HPLC-DAD-ELSD and response surface design method, the qualified rate of decoction pieces, the content of index components and bending inspection were used as comprehensive inspection indicators, and the three factors of infiltration were selected for response surface experimental design to optimize the infiltration process of Astragalus medicinal materials parameter. Results: The best infiltration process was as following: infiltration temperature was 20 ℃, with water addition of 1:0.988 for 6 h. Under this process, the qualified rate of Astragalus pieces was 95.81%, the content of calycosin-7-glucoside was 0.072%, and the content of astragaloside IV was 0.276 %. Combining fingerprint analysis and heat map analysis, the material basis of A. membranaceus var. mongholicus changed during the infiltration process. The infiltration parameters should be strictly controlled during the infiltration process to ensure uniform quality of the pieces. Conclusion: The optimized Astragalus medicinal material infiltration process is stable and feasible with good reproducibility, which can provide a reference for the mass production process development of Astragalus medicinal slices.

Objective To evaluate the psychological impact of acne on patients. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 469 patients with acne and 175 healthy controls.Athens insomnia scale (AIS),self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) were used to estimate the prevalence of insomnia, anxiety and depression respectively in these subjects.Rank sum test was performed to compare the differences in psychological status between the patients and controls. Results Increased AIS,SAS and HAMD scores were observed in the patients with acne compared with the healthy controls (Z =4.014,3.426,8.664,respectively,all P < 0.01 ).The incidence of insomnia, anxiety and depression was 34.9%,0.7% and 2.9%respectively in the patients with acne, with no significant differences between patients in different age groups (<15 years,15-25 years,> 25 years, all P > 0.05).A significant increase was observed in AIS score in 296 female patients compared with 173 male patients (Z =2.009,P < 0.05),and in HAMD score in patients with severe acne compared with those with mild acne (Z =3.739,P < 0.01 ).There was no statistical difference in SAS or HAMD score between the male and female patients,or in AIS or SAS score between patients with severe and mild acne. Conclusions Acne could affect the sleep, anxiety and depression emotions in patients, and exert a negative psychological impact on patients, which seems more apparent in patients with severe acne and female patients.
