The Journal of Practical Medicine 2015;(18):3049-3052
Objective To discuss the relationship between peptic ulcer in children and food-specific IgG, and to evaluate the effect of avoiding the intolerant food on treatment of peptic ulcer. Method Fourteen kinds of food specific IgG in 69 cases of peptic ulcer were tested by ELISA. The patient′s intolerance to different foods and its relationship with age , sex and different ulcer were analyzed. The efficacy of avoiding the intolerant food was assessed after 8 weeks. Results Total positive of food-specific IgG in children with peptic ulcer was 94.2%. For preschool children, the highest intolerance rates were in milk and eggs; for school-age and adolescence children, the highest intolerance rate was in eggs. As the age increases, kinds of intolerant food increased too. Ulcer healing rate in observation group was higher than that in the control group after 8 weeks. Conclusions High positive percentage of food- specific IgG was found in children with peptic ulcer , indicating a possible correlation of peptic ulcer and food-intolerance. Kinds of intolerant food correlates with the age group , but not with sex and ulcer sites. Avoiding the intolerant food may increase ulcer healing rate.

Objective:A novel tuberculosis DNA vaccine integrating siRNA,fusional antigen and hIL-12 triple expression units was constructed in our laboratory. Methods:To evaluate the independent expression of the three expression units, two eukaryotic expression plasmid pVAX1-siRNA-PVAE[EGFP]-hIL12 with TB fusional gene Ag85B-ESAT6(PVAE) and enhanced green fluorescent protein(EGFP),and pVAX1-siEGFP-PVAE[EGFP]-hIL12 with siRNA coding sequence targeting EGFP instead of Mcl-1L were constructed. Then two plasmids were used to transfer human embryonic kidney 293 cells.Based on EGFP report gene,it was demonstrated that siRNA expression unit and fusional antigen gene were independently expressed. Results:The hIL12 expression at 48h and 72h post transfection were also detected by ELISA analysis up to 1571.63pg/ml and 2392.25pg/ml respectively in the cell culture fluid. Conclusion:The results demonstrated that the novel DNA vaccine with siRNA,TB fusional antigen and hIL12 three expression units in the same plasmid frame is successfully constructed and independently expressed in eukaryotic cells. It laid a foundation for further animal model study on anti-tuberculosis effects of this novel DNA vaccine.

International Eye Science 2014;(9):1667-1669
To evaluate the influence of phacoemulsification on corneal endothelium of senile cataract with lupus nephritis (LN).
●METHODS:This clinical trial involved 40 cataract patients with lupus nephritis (40 eyes), and 50 cases (50 eyes) without lupus nephritis. All of them underwent phacoemulsification+lOL implantation. The parameters of corneal endothelial cell including central corneal endothelium cell density ( CED ), average area of endothelial cell ( AVE) and coefficient of variation ( CV) were recorded by corneal endothelial microscope pre -operation and at one month after operation. The data were analyzed by SPSS 13. 0 statistical software.
● RESULTS: Both LN group and control group, the morphology of coneal endothelial was statistical significant differences between pre - operation and 1mo postoperation. The CED was lower, AVE and CV were higher ( P < 0. 05, respectively). A significant decrease in CED was seen in the LN group than did in the control group (P < 0. 05). Compared to control group, the post -operative AVE and CV in LN group was significantly increased (P<0. 05).
● CONCLUSlON: The corneal endothelial cell in lupus nephritis patients is more fragile. Safe and reliable operation should be selected for these patients.

0.05).Our data also showed no significant association between the genotypes and the severity of the disease.One-way ANOVA showed that BDNF genotype had no association to the age of onset for developing AD.Conclusions Our results indicate that Va166Met SNP in BDNF gene is not associated with AD.

Chinese Journal of Experimental and Clinical Virology 2013;27(1):73-75
OBJECTIVEBy analyzing the status and characteristics of vaccinia virus laboratory-acquired infections in the bibliographical information, this paper provides relevant recommendations and measures for prevention and control of vaccinia virus laboratory-acquired infections in China.
METHODSChoosing PubMed, Embase, Biosis and SCIE, SSCI, CPCI-S as well as CPCI-SSH covered by Web of Science as the data source, indexing the bibliography of vaccinia virus laboratory-acquired infections, this paper analyzes the information on whether to vaccinate, the occurrence time of symptoms, diseasedparts, symptom characteristics and the disease-causing reasons.
RESULTSThe outcome shows that 52. 9% of the cases never get vaccinated, 82.4% engaged in vaccinia virus related researches never get vaccinated in 10 years, 52. 9% get infected by the accidental needlestick in hands during the process of handling animal experiments, 70. 6% of infections occur in the hands and having symptoms after being exposed with an average of 5. 1 days.
CONCLUSIONAlthough it is still controversial that whether or not to be vaccinated before carrying out vaccinia virus related works, it should be important aspects of prevention and control of vaccinia virus laboratory-acquired infections with the strict compliance with the operating requirements of the biosafety, by strengthening personal protection and timely taking emergency measures when unforeseen circumstances occur, as well as providing the research background information to doctors.

Objective To explore the possible association of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs3738435 of muscarinic acetylcholine receptor subtype M3 gene (cholinergic receptor, muscarinic 3, CHRM3) with risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) and metabolic disturbance. Methods The genotypes of T-149C variant of CHRM3 gene were determined by PCR-RFLP in 573 Chinese individuals in Shanghai, including 220 newly-diagnosed type 2 DM patients without taking any drug and 353 subjects with normal glucose tolerance (NGT). In the subjects, height and weight were measured for body mass index(BMI), waist, hip and femoral circumstances for waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) and waist-to-femur ratio (WFR), and serum lipid level including total cholesterol, triglyceride, high-density and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, blood pressure, plasma glucose levels both at 0 and 120 minute during oral 75 g glucose tolerance test (OGTT) were also determined. Results (1) There was no statistical difference in the gene frequency between groups of type 2 DM and NGT. (2) In the group of type 2 DM, significant differences were observed between TT genotype carriers and TC+CC genotypes carriers for BMI, with an obvious increase in TY genotype carriers [(26.99±3.59vs25.34±3.48)kg/m2, P=0.001]. (3) In the subgroup of type 2 DM with BMI≥25 kg/m2, total cholesterol was higher in TT genotypes than in TC+CC genotypes[(5.75±1.26vs5.27±1.14)mmol/L, P=0.030], so was the low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. Conclusion The genetic variation T-149C in the CHRM3 gene seems to attribute to weight regulation and lipid metabolism of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Chinese population.
