1.Research advances in biomechanical properties and its clinical significance of vitreous liquefaction
International Eye Science 2017;17(8):1485-1488
Vitreous liquefaction is an age-related degenerative change, which will further alter the physicochemical properties of the vitreous and its surrounding tissues, resulting in various related eye diseases. The principal pathologic changes of that are the gradual depletion of hyaluronic acid and the collapse of collagen fibrillar network, with a series of biomechanical changes in vitreous body. This article reviews biomechanical properties of normal vitreous, the current measurements of these properties, formation mechanism and changes of biomechanics properties of vitreous liquefaction and correlation between synchesis and related ocular diseases, which provide insight into the ideas for the effective reduction and treatment of vitreous liquefaction.

normal males were tested by BIODEX isokinetic test and rehabilitation system and its closed chain attachment. The results show that Peak Torque,Peak Torque/Body Weight,Time to PT,Total Work,Total Work/Body Weight and Average Power were higher when extention than flexion. There were no significant influence on D1/D2 ratio. And the results with closed chain are the same with non closed chain test.

Chinese Journal of Sports Medicine 2001;20(1):64-65
20 normal males were examined by BIODEX isokinetic test and rehabilitation system, and data collected were used to observe the influence of angle and time on the isokinetic concentric constriction of knee joint. It was found that angle and time, especially angle factor obviously affected the testing results.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(06):-
Abdominal multivisceral transplantation is a new and proved effective therapeutic methods for two or more terminal abdominal organs. Upper abdominal exenteration(resection of the liver, stomach, spleen, pancreaticoduodenal complex, and part of the colon) for the treatment of otherwise unresectable tumors is one of the more radical operations in oncology. Some new surgical methods such as liver-intestinal,liver-kidney,pancreas-kidney and multivisceral cluster transplantation have emerged recently. These new advance surgical approache improve the curative effect of abdominal organ transplantation.

Glypican-3 (GPC3) is an oncofetal protein anchored on the plasma membrane and highly expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).GPC3 could he used as a biomarker for the diagnosis of HCC and the serum levels of GPC3 in liver cancer patients has a significant role for their prognosis. Moreover, GPC3 in HCC cells is immunoreactive, rendering it a suitable target for the treatment of HCC.Nowadays, several clinical trials targeting GPC3 for HCC therapy have already been conducted: new anti- GPC3 antibodies are generated; the clinical trials about its combination administration with other targeted medicines are being in progress; (tP(3-targeted TRAB, GPC3 vaccines and GPC3-based chimeric antigen receptor T-cells (CAR-T) therapy are under investigation. In this review, we briefly discuss the structure of GPC3, its role in HCC pathogenesis and summarize the recent development in the clinical application of GPC3.We firmly believe that GPC3 would be a promising target for HCC therapy. And further studies focusing on GPC3 should provide us more solid evidence.

Objective To investigate whether functional Wnt-?-catenin signaling is present in activated hepatic stellate cells (HSC),and the effect of blocking this signaling on activation of HSC. Methods?-catenin expression in HSC was examined by immunocytochemistry.Wnt signalings in HSC-T6 were assessed using a T cell factor (TCF)-dependent luciferase reporter gene (pTOP- FLASH) assay.Wnt signalings in HSC-T6 were blocked by transfecting with a dominant negative TCF (dnTCF) expression plasmid, then the expression of alpha smooth muscle actin (?-SMA) and collagen typeⅠwere examined by Western blot.Results?-catenin staining was positive in the nuclei of HSC-T6.Luciferase activity in the cells transfected with pTOPFLASH was significantly higher than that in the cells transfected with pFOPFLASH (P

Microbiology 2008;0(07):-
A strain of Cellulosimicrobium cellulans Ha8 was studied on its morphological, biological characteristics and its utilization of several kinds of benzoic compounds, the results showed this strain was Gram-positive, the long rod-shaped cells were changed into short rod-shape gradually. pH value from pH 6.0 to pH 9.0 and the temperature from 20 ℃ to 40 ℃ were good for its growth. It could not only hydrolyze protein and starch, use cellulose and pectin, decomposite chitin, liquify gelatin and fix nitrogen, but also use phenol, xylene, benzoic, cinnamic acids and diphenlamine as the sole carbon resource for its growth. It could tolerate 0 mmol/L~30 mmol/L, 0 mmol/L~8 mmol/L, 0 mmol/L~30 mmol/L, 0 mmol/L~15 mmol/L and 0 mmol/L ~ 40 mmol/L of benzoic acids, phenol, xylene, cinnamic acids and diphenlamine seperately, but could not use 2,4-dinitrophenol, o-Nitrophenol, 2-Methoxyphenol, aminobenzenesulfonic acid, catechol and o-Phenanthroline as its sole carbon resource.

AIM: To study the influences of P1 promoter activity of furin gene on the functions of hepatocytes in patients with liver cirrhosis.METHODS: The patients with liver cirrhosis of 180 cases were recruited. The single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP-229 C/T) in P1 promoter of furin gene was genotyped using competitively differentiated polymerase chain reaction. The relationships between the promoter activity based on genotyping and the serum levels of liver enzymes, total bilirubin, albumin and prothrombin were observed.RESULTS: The distribution frequencies of allele C and T were 75.3%(271/360) and 24.7%(89/360).Those of genotypes CC,CT and TT were 62.2%(112/180),26.1%(47/180) and 11.7%(21/180),respectively.The distribution frequencies of the genotypes were not related to the serum levels of major liver enzymes, albumin, total bilirubin and prothrombin, except for alkaline phosphatase and ?-glutamyl transferase.CONCLUSION: The activity of furin promoter exerts no effects on the main functions of hepatocytes, suggesting that furin may be a new therapeutic target for HBV infection.
