Objectives To investigate the role of laminin (LM) and fibronectin (FN) in the growth cycle of human hair follicles. Methods The expression of LM and FN was detected by streptavidin-peroxidase (SP) staining. Results In the anagen phase, LM was expressed in dermal papilla, basement membrane and outer root sheath; FN was expressed in dermal papilla, basement membrane and connective tissue sheath. In the catagen phase, LM showed a lower expression in the dermal papilla and a linear expression in the basement membrane; the expression of FN in the dermal papilla and basement membrane was less intense than that in anagen phase, but was still positive. In the telogen phase, LM was only expressed in the basement membrane while FN was negative. Conclusion The difference between LM and FN expression in hair growth cycle indicates that LM and FN may play important roles in the regulation of human hair follicle growth cycl.

Objective To study the correlations among lumbosacral anatomical structure variations and herniation of intervertebral disc. Methods Through analyzing lumbar CT images of 684 patients with lumbocrural pain between 15 to 24 years old, the anatomical variations of spondylolysis, scoliosis deformity, lumbosacral transitional vertebra, subfissure, lumbosacral angle and others (including vertebral muscles beside, spines, transverse process on both sides) were observed, and the correlations among these anatomical variations and herniation of intervertebral disc were analyzed. Results The correlations among these above mentioned anatomical variations and herniation of intervertebral disc were 93.6%,92.3%,87.5%,81.3%,72.1%,53.3% respectively. In 91.4% of patients, the lumbosacral anatomical structure variations suffered herniation of intervertebral disc at the same time. But only 36.2% of patients suffered herniation of intervertebral disc without lumbosacral anatomical structure variations. Conclusion Lumbosacral anatomical structure variation is the main reason of herniation of intervertebral disc on teenagers.CT examination, which can reflect the correlation between them.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(22):4424-4427
Chemical constituents of 95% ethanol extract of the dried persistent calyx of Physalis pubescens were investigated. By chromatography on a silica gel column and reverse-phase preparative HPLC, 10 compounds were isolated from the dichloromethane fraction. Based on the MS and 1D/2D NMR data, these compounds were identified as 5-O-(E-feruloyl) blumenol (1), isovanillin (2), (E) -ethyl 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl) acrylate (3), 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde(4), 4-methylphenol (5), (E) -methyl cinnamate (6), 7,3',4' trimethoxyquercetin (7), 5,3', 5'-trihydroxy-3,7,4'-trimethoxyflavone(8), danielone (9), and 5,5'-diisobutoxy-2,2'-bifuran (10).

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2005;29(6):410-413
Imaging objects are spatially encoded by gradient magnetic fields in magnetic resonance imaging systems. The eddy current caused by rapid switches of gradient fields will result in artifacts in the images. A method of eddy current compensation based on pre-emphasis of gradient current is presented in this thesis. The compensation parameters are acquired rapidly utilizing Faraday's induction theorem and data fitting method. The experiments prove that the method is efficient for reduction of the debugging time and for the improvement of the image quality.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(8):1263-1269
BACKGROUND:In recent years, many manufacturing techniques have been recently developed for soft tissue engineering scaffolds. Especialy additive manufacturing with a unique material accumulated forming principle can be feasible and reliable to manufacture the highly precise scaffolds with gradient structures and multi-materials for large soft tissue defect repairing.
OBJECTIVE:To summarize scaffolds manufacturing technologies in the soft tissue engineering applications developed in recent years and to predict the direction of development.
METHODS: A retrieval was performed for the literature about the manufacturing methods of soft tissue scaffolds using key words of “additive manufacturing, microfabrication, vascular tissue engineering, muscle tissue engineering, cartilage tissue engineering, stereolithography, 3D printing, biodegradable hydrogel” in English and Chinese, which were published between January 2010 and September 2013 in PubMed Database and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) Database.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:For large soft tissue defects repairing, structure design of the scaffolds has been shifted from a simple planar structure to a more complex three-dimensional structure, and integration of scaffold structure, materials and cels, and growth factors during the manufacturing procedure can be used to obtain the resolution of vascularization. Additive manufacturings become one of the most promising approaches for the ideal soft tissue scaffolds with gradient and complex structure and multi-materials. In particular, the hydrogel/cellcomposite scaffolds fabrication, a hot but promising approach to develop the soft tissue engineering wil be made progress by the accurate principles and processes of the hydrogel additive manufacturing combined with the introduction of living cels and growth factors.

OBJECTIVE To established a viable and convenient method for human nasoseptal chondrocyte culture in vitro and study the biological characters of the chondrocyte. METHODS The chondrocytes were obtained by incomplete enzyme digestion of cartilage and were seeded with small piece of cartilage in 25 ml culture flasks coated with polylysine previously. This study determines the biologic synthesis of the chondrocytes by toluidine blue and type Ⅱcollagen immunohistochemistry reaction. The proteoglycan synthesis efficiencies of human nasoseptal chondrocytes cultured in vitro were measured by using 35S-Na2SO4 incorporation. The modified method and the conventional method in proteoglycan synthesis were also compared. RESULTS The results suggested that human nasoseptal chondrocytes cultured by modified method still show the normal structure and morphology, and maintain the function of metabolism and self duplication. With the modified method, we can get a higher cell survival rate and more cells. CONCLUSION The modified method is a viable and convenient method.

To study the effect of pulchinenoside (PULC) on the Frizzled (FZD) expression of adjuvant arthritis ( AA) rats. AA rats were prepared through the toe injection with complete Freund's adjuvant to culture fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLS). The effect of the oral administration with PULC on the FZD8 expression was detected by the real time qPCR. The effect of FZD8 knockout on the expressions of IL-1, IL-6, IL-8 were detected by MTT and ELISA. The role of miR-375 in the abnomal expression of FZD8 was detected by the real time qPCR. The results showed signfiicant decrease in the FZD8 expression among AA rats, FLS proliferation ater FZD8 knockout and IL-1, IL-6, IL-8 expressions and notable increase in miR-375 expression after the oral administration with PULC. The up-regulated miR-375 expression can inhibit the FZD8 expression. PULC may inhibit the FZD8 expression by up-regulating the miR-375 expression.
