3.More are awaiting for craniofacial intervention
Journal of Interventional Radiology 2001;0(06):-
The scale of craniofacial intervention lies between the fields of neuro-intervention and peripheral intervention for the main purpose to investigate, diagnose and treat the disease entities originating from or supplied by the external carotid arterial system. Patients are usually refered to the oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery and otolaryngeal surgery. Craniofacial intervention includes mainly the diagnosis and treatment with adjuvant embolization of high-flow vascular diseases,intra-arterial chemotherapy of malignant tumors, embolization of epistaxis, etc. At present, there is no consensus with regard to the diagnosis and treatment of some craniofacial diseases, therefore further investigation and discussion are needed.(J Intervent Radiol,2006,15: 321-322)

Objective To investigate the influence of Norcantharidin(NCTD)on apoptosis-related gene expression of gastric cancer cell line SGC-7901.Methods The experiment was divided into control group,5-Fu group,NCTD group and 5-Fu+NCTD group. The inhibitory rate, apoptosis rate and expression of survivin,bcl-2,and caspase-3 were detected by MTT assay, flow cytometry and SABC immunohistochemical method, respectively. Results NCTD showed that the inhibitory effect on growth of SGC-7901 cells with a dose-and time-effective dependent manner. The apoptotic rate increased from(8.30?1.49)% to(20.56? 1.32)%.The expressions of survivin decreased from(86.57?4.39)% to(26.11?2.27)% and bcl-2 from(85.35? 3.25)% to(30.26?1.83)%,while caspase-3 increased from(54.49?3.07)% to(92.78?2.47)%,5-Fu had the synergistic effects with NCTD.Conclusion NCTD can inhibit the growth of SGC-7901 cell lines.5-Fu had the synergistic effects with NCTD.The mechanism might correlate with induction of cell apoptosis via effect of the expression of apoptotic-related genes such as survivin,bcl-2 and caspase-3.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(01):-
Multidrug resistance (MDR) is widely thought to be a major cause of the failure in cancer chemotherapy. The detection of MDR marker is therefore valuabe in studying the mechanisms of MDR and to predict response to chemotherapy in patient with carcinoma. Previous studies have examined MDR marker in gastric cancer, but the major part of the investigation in patients have focused on a single parameter. The purposes of this study were to detect the expression of glutathione S transferase pi(GST ?), multidrug resistance associated protein(MRP), lung resistance protein(LRP) and multidrug resistance gen 1 (MDR1) in the patients with primary gastric cancer, who had not received prior chemotherapy, and evaluate the correlation between GST ?, MRP, LRP and MDR1. The expression of GST ?, MRP, LRP and MDR1 mRNA in carcinoma tissue and the adjacent non cancerous tissue from 50 patients was examined by semiquantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT PCR). The positive rate of GST ? mRNA, MRP mRNA, LRP mRNA and MDR1 mRNA in gastric cancer tissue were 36.00%, 12.00%, 10.00%, and 10.00% respectively. Their expression in gastric cancer tissue was significantly higher than that in the adjacent non cancerous tissue. The overall positive rate of their expression in gastric tissue was 48.00%. The results indicated that GST ? mRNA, MRP mRNA, LRP mRNA and MDR1 mRNA are overexpressed in various degrees and no co expression exists among the studied genes in gastric cancer, and perhaps intrinsic MDR exists in 46% patients with primary gastric cancer .
7.The analysis of epidemioiogical and clinical characteristics of 67 clinical cases of adult-measles
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Objective To evaluate the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of adult-measles.Methods The clinical data of 67 patients with adult-measles were retrospectively analyzed. Results In summary,67 pa- tients with measles were involved in this study, with 39 males and 28 females. The gender rate was 1.39:1 and the average age was about 32 years old. There were 39 peasants and 28 workers & officials of 67 patients. The peak of the incidence of disease emerged in April and June(40.3%),especially from November 2000 to October 2004 (67.2%),and the positive rate of measles virus IgM antibody in serum was 95.1%(39/41).There were 58 patients (86.6%)who had the fever beyond 39℃and 18 patients(26.9%)who had measles induced viral hepatitis.Con- clusions There is a trend that measles may be related to the nonstandard inoculation of measles vaccine of the de- crease of IgM antibody levels and so on.Meanwhile, serious toxemic symptoms and liver damage can be clinically ob- served.

Journal of Integrative Medicine 2006;4(2):181-4
OBJECTIVE: To observe the protective effects of ginkgo leaf extracts on spinal cord after ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury in rabbits and to find out its possible mechanism. METHODS: Twenty-seven New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into three groups, which were sham-operation group, untreated group and ginkgo leaf extracts-treated group. The locomotor scores of hindlimbs in rabbits after 24 and 48 h of reperfusion were evaluated, and the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) in ischemia spinal cord were examined. The apoptotic index (AI) of neurons in spinal cord was detected by terminal deoxyribonucleotidyl transferase (TdT)-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling (TUNEL) method. The expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins were examined by streptavidin-biotin peroxidase method. RESULTS: The locomotor scores of hindlimbs in rabbits after 24 and 48 h of reperfusion in the ginkgo leaf extracts-treated group were obviously elevated as compared with those in the untreated group (P<0.05). The activity of SOD was higher and the level of MDA was lower in ischemia spinal cord in the ginkgo leaf extracts-treated group than those in the untreated group (P<0.01). The decreased neuron AI and the expressions of up-regulated Bcl-2 protein and down-regulated Bax protein were also observed in the ginkgo leaf extracts-treated group. CONCLUSION: The protective effects of the ginkgo leaf extracts against spinal cord injury induced by IR may be related to scavenging oxygen free radicals, reducing lipid peroxidation injury and inhibiting apoptosis.

Objective:To study the effect of comfort care to alleviate postoperative pain of tibial eminence fracture by fixation. Methods:55 patients with tibial eminence fracture between Apr 2013 and Mar 2015 in our hospital were selected and divided into observation group with 26 patients and control group with 29 cases according to the nursing methods. The control group was given the orthopaedic routine nursing method, and the observation group was given the comfortable nursing method to compare two groups of patients with postoperative pain and psychological status before and after the intervention (HAMA anxiety score and HAMD depression scale). Results:There were significant differences between two groups of patients with pain score after the intervention (t=9.545, P<0.05), and HAMA and HAMD scores decline. HAMA and HAMD scores in the observation group were significantly lower than that in the control group (t=11.593, t=10.628;P<0.05). Conclusion:Comfort care can significantly relieve postoperative pain of the tibial condyle spine fractures and improve postoperative anxiety and depression. It has good clinical application value.
