OBJECTIVETo explore the clinical efficacy and mechanism of acupuncture and tapping therapy in the treatment of type 2 diabetes of yin deficiency pattern combined with stasis in the patients.
METHODSOne hundred and twelve patients were treated with acupuncture, followed by tapping method. The reinforcing method with lifting, thrusting and rotating needle technique was used at Taixi (KI 3), Shenmen (HT 7), Taibai (SP 3), Taiyuan (LU 9), Sanyinjiao (SP 6) and Zusanli (ST 36); and the even-needling technique was used at Taichong (LR 3), Hegu (LI 4), Xuehai (SP 10) and Fenglong (ST 40). The needles were remained for 30 min. After needle removal, the tapping method with plum-blossom needle was applied to Geshu (BL 17), Yishu (EX-B 3), Ganshu (BL 18), Shenshu (BL 23) and Pishu (BL 20), once every two days. The treatment of 3 months was required. The changes were observed before and after treatment in the relevant indices of fat-islet axis such as fasting plasma glucose (FPG), fasting leptin (FLP), fasting insulin (FINS), insulin sensitivity index (ISI), insulin resistance (Homa IR), insulin secretion index (Homa-beta) and the indices of obesity and blood lipids in the patients.
RESULTSAfter treatment, the total effective rate was 84.8% (95/112), in which the efficacy on the stasis predominated syndrome was better than that of yin deficiency predominated syndrome [92.9% (52/56) vs 76.8% (43/56), P < 0.05]. Before treatment, FPG, FLP, FINS, Homa-IR, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), body mass, body mass index (BMI), fat percentage (F%) and obesity degree in the patients were higher obviously than those in the normal group (all P < 0.01); high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and ISI were lower than those in the normal group (both P < 0.01). After treatment, FPG, FLP, FINS, Homa-IR, TC, TG, LDL-C, body mass, BMI, F% and obesity degree were all reduced obviously as compared with those before treatment (all P < 0.01). ISI and HDL-C were increased apparently (both P < 0.01). The efficacy on mild obesity was superior to that on moderate and severe obesity, and the efficacy in the young patients was better than that in the elderly, the efficacy in the males was better than that in the females, but the differences were not significant (all P > 0.05). The efficacy in the cases with 10 years duration of sickness was superior to those with over 10 years duration of sickness (P < 0. 01).
CONCLUSIONAcupuncture and tapping therapy achieves the significant efficacy on type 2 diabetes of yin deficiency pattern combined with stasis and its effect mechanism is related to the positive regulation of glucose, lipid metabolism and fat-islet axis.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(23):1877-1879
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the clinical features of chronic tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF), provided disease-related treatment experience and lessons for clinicians.
METHOD:
To successfully repair one case of chronic tracheoesophageal fistula with surgery, and to analyze the clinical treatment process, combined with relevant literature, the author reported the experiene of diagnosis and treatment in TEF.
RESULT:
After the gastrointestinal ostomy and Stent implantation, the fistula persisted, nine months later ,we took the surgery to repair the fistule, ten days postoperation, the fistule healed and esophageal iodine water examination didn't prompt obvious abnormalities, the patient was discharged without any postoperative complications 12 days postoperation.
CONCLUSION
If conservative treatment failed with TEF, the surgical repair should be carried timely, By double sutured with fistula in surgery, and reinforced with the approaching muscle tissue, It can achieve good results.

Objective To investigate the effect of an anti-HER-2 engineered antibody,chA21,on the expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 in human ovarian cancer SKOV3 cells that highly express HER-2.Methods After exposure to chA21 at concentrations of 6 mg/L and 12 mg/L for 36 hours, respectively, the expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 proteins was detected by immunocyctochemistry.SKOV3 cells were inoculated into nude mice to establish animal models. The mice were respectively administered with normal saline and chA21(30 mg/kg) via injection twice a week for 6 consecutive weeks, and then were killed after 44 days' administration of the drugs.Immnohistochemical staining of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 was observed on tissue microarray sections. Results After exposed to chA21,TIMP-2 protein was increased(P

Objective To evaluate blood flow structure and quantify the variation of the flow within left ventricle, assess the impact of chronic heart failure(CHF) by vector flow mapping(VFM).Methods Twenty-seven patients with chronic heart failure and thirty controls were involved. The flow vector images on the section plane of the flow within the left ventricle were acquired by VFM.Time-flow(T-F) curve and all other peak systolic and diastolic flow curve include normal velocity profile, parallel velocity profile, vector profile, flow profile were analyzed by DSA-RS1 program. Results Ventricular ejection peak S,rapid ventricular filling peak E and atrial systole peak A were relatively lower at basal and middle segments in CHF group than normal control group.Normal velocity profile, velocity profile, flow profile at peak S and E were lower at basal and middle segments in CHF group than normal control group. Conclusions VFM technology could provide quantitative and intuitive information to demonstrate the flow structure of the ventricle and evaluate the cardiac function in patients with CHF.

Objective Systematic evaluation of cerebrolysin in the treatment of neonatal hypoxic -ischemic encephalopathy. Methods Computer search Cochrane Library, EMBase, PubMed, Chinese Journal Full-text Database (CNKI), Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM), Wanfang Database ( each database retrieval time from its creation to May 2016 ) About cerebrolysin Randomized controlled clinical trial of neonatal hypoxic -ischemic encephalopathy.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the literature, the methodological quality of the included research was evaluated and the data were extracted.Metadata was analyzed by RevMan 5.3 software. Results A total of 41 RCT patients were enrolled, with a total of 3695 patients, the experimental group was 1932 cases, the control group was 1763 cases.Meta analysis showed, the efficacy of cerebrolysin in the treatment of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy was significantly higher than that in the control group [OR=3.85, 95% CI (3.15,4.70), P<0.000001], for the impact of clinical symptoms, the number of primitive reflexes of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group [MD=-1.22, 95% CI ( -2.06,-0.38), P=0.004], muscle tension recovery days[MD=-1.69, 95% CI ( -1.80,-1.58), P<0.00001], conscious state recovery days[MD=-1.32, 95% CI ( -2.25,-0.40), P=0.005], seizure recovery days [MD=-2.36, 95% CI ( -3.70, -1.03), P =0.0005], and other indicators were shorter than the control group, the difference between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant. Conclusion Cerebrolysin havean effective in treating HIE.
