Objective To observe the curative effect of low melocular weight heparin(LMWH) on the hypercoagulability in acute Kawasaki disease(KD).Methods Forty-six patients were diagnosed KD.Twenty-two cases out of all KD patients whose serum concentration of whether platelet(PLT) or fibrinogen(FIB) was significantly increased or who were found thrombus in their coronary artery by ultrasonic Doppler were treated with LMWH by subcutaneous injection once every day for 7-10 days.All the patients were divided into 2 groups accor-ding to whether using LMWH or not:H group(using LMWH) and NH group(no using LMWH).It were detected before and after treatment that included thrombin time(TT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),international normalized ratio(INR),FIB,plasma mucosity,erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),hematocrit(HCT) and situation of haemorrhage.Results 1.Before treatment,PLT and FIB of patients in H group were significantly higher than those in NH group(Pa

OBJECTIVETo explore clinical effects of internal fixation in treating displaced clavicle fracture combined with coracoid process.

METHODSFrom January 2005 to July 2012, 9 patients with displaced clavicle fracture combined with coracoid process were treated by internal fixation. Among them, there were 6 males and 3 females with an average age of 40.1 (ranged from 20 to 57) years old. According to Eyres classification: 3 cases were type II B, 1 case was type II A, 3 cases were type III B, and 2 cases were type V A. All patients had history of injury, and diagnosed as coracoid fracture X-ray and CT before operation. Herscovici criteria was used to evaluate function of shoulders joint after operation.

RESULTSSeven of 9 patients were followed up from 6 to 18 (averaged 11) months. The incisions were healed at stage I, coracoid process obtained bony healing, and reduction of acromioclavicular joint well. According to Herscovici criteria, 6 patients got excellent results and 1 in good.

CONCLUSIONInternal fixation for the treatment of displaced clavicle fracture combined with coracoid process could restore physiological anatomical position of coracoid process, and benefit for recovery of limb function.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the imbalance of suppressors of cytokine signaling 1(SOCS1)/SOCS3 and abnormal activation of monocytes/ macrophages in children with acute-phase asthma, and explore the molecular mechanism of chronic inflammatory process on airway.Methods The present study enrolled 20 asthmatic children and 20 age-matched normal children. Dual-color flow cytometric analysis was performal to detect the percentage of CD_ 80 、CD_ 86 expressing on CD_ 14 ~+ cell. Objective To evaluate diagnostic value of X-ray computed tomography(CT) neck masses in children.Methods Clinic,pathologic diagnosis and CT scans of 26 patients from Jan.2004 to Jun.2006 with neck masses which location,density,edge and near construction were reviewed retrospectively.Results Seven cases in neck anterior area,13 cases in neck lateral area,6 cases in other areas or unconfirmed.Eight cases with lower density than cervical muscles,2 cases with same density,2 cases with higher density,14 cases with mixed density.Inflammatory masses were observed in 13 cases,congenital malformation in 11 cases,thyroiditis in 1 case,pharyngeal tumor-like proliferation in 1 case.Conclusion CT scan is the best choice of diagnosis of neck masses in children,and is valuable to diagnosis associated with history and physical examination.
