Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2009;16(5):844-845
Objective To evaluate the safety and therapeutic value of endoscopic sphincterotomy by endoscope to the patients with common duct stones after their gallbladders resected. Methods 158 patients with common duct stones after their gallbladders resected were given the treatments of endoscopic sphincterotomy and nasobiliary drainage in recent 4 years. Results 153 of 158 patients got succeed. The symptoms obviously improved such as jaundice and fever and epigastric distention and so on. As for the postoperative complications, the hyperamylasemia occurred in 85 patients of all patients, and active hemorrhage in 2 patients, and acute pancreatitis in 16 patients, and cholangitis in 5 patients, but no one occurred biliary fistula,no one died, too. Conclusion EST is the best way for us to treat the patients with common duct stones after their gallhladders resected by endoscope, and its curative effect is sure and its safety coefficient is higher.
3.Peripheral benzodiazepine receptors and cerebral ischemia
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2009;17(4):305-308
1he increased peripheral benzodiazepine receptors are more significant than normal ones after cerebral ischemia. Its main reactions are the multiple pathological changes, including microglial activation, participating in neuroinflammation response, and regulation of mitochondrial function. Using radionuclide-laheled specific ligands of the peripheral benzodiaz-epine receptor (such as PK11195) for in vivo imaging contribute to the location and quantitative detection for brain injury and the study of the pathophysiological changes after cerebral ischemi-a. In addition, this receptor is promising to become a new target of neuroprotective treatment. This article reviews the recent progress in research on peripheral benzodiazepine receptors and cerebral ischemia.
4.The role of neutrophils in tissue repair
Xiaohong CHEN ; Tianmin CHENG ;
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(04):-
The principal role of neutrophils in tissue repair has long been thought to be confined to killing bacteria and clearing necrotic tissue. However, recent studies have shown that neutrophils are also one of the sources of pro inflammatory cytokines and growth factors, such as IL 1, TNF ?, bFGF, VEGF,TGF ? 1 that probably serve as the earliest signals to activate local fibroblasts, epidermal cells and vascular endothelial cells and initiate tissue repair. It was also reported that neutrophils improved the proliferation removal of injured epithelial cells in airway and corneal epithelial cells. It is very important for the successful tissue repair that the function of neutrophils is normal.
5.Current status on the intestinal barrier dysfunction in HIV infection
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 2017;24(4):244-248
Highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) can effectively suppress thehuman immunodeficiency virus (HIV) replication andsignificantly reduce morbidity and mortality of HIV-infectedpatients,which howevercan't completely remove the virus, and eventually progressinto chronic viral-infection disease.Chronic HIVinfection destroys host immune system, leading to intestinal barrier damage, intestinal mucosal dysfunction, microbial translocation, and further accelerates the disease progress. The reconstruction of intestinalmicroflora balance and improvement of intestinal mucosa function areessential to reestablish the host immune system. This paper will review the current research advanceson intestinal barrier damage of HIV infection and gut-target therapy of AIDS.The aim is to provide valid evidences for further research targeting improvement of treatment strategiesandreduction of morbidity and mortality in HIV infection.
6.Systematic review and Meta-analysis of feasibility and safety of associating liver partition and portal vein ligation for staged hepatectomy
International Journal of Surgery 2017;44(4):235-239,封3
Objective To assess the feasibility and safety between ALPPS and two-stage hepatectomy (TSH).Methods An electronic search was performed of the MEDLINE,EMBASE using subject heading to identify nearly three-years articles published that related to this topic.Pooled odds ratio was calculated for binary data and mean differences for continuous outcomes, using fixed-effects and random-effects models for meta-analysis.Results Four studies involving a total of 312 patients were used in the analysis. We found that ALPPS produced a higher increase rate of FLR than TSH (MD =24.78;95%CI:0.63 to 48.94;P =0.04).Comparing with TSH,ALPPS produced a shorter FLR growth time (MD =-26.55;95% CI:-37.13 to -15.97,P < 0.05).There was no statistical significance in overall mortality (OR =2.43;95 % CI:0.94 to 6.31;P =0.07),while ALPPS produced a more severe complication rate (≥ Ⅲ b) than TSH (OR =2.47;95 % CI:1.14 to 5.36;P =0.02).Conclusions It was better to make the FLR increasing to safe resection for ALPPS than TSH in a short period of time. There was no statistical significance in overall complication and mortality between ALPPS and TSH,but ALPPS produced more severe complication rate (≥ Ⅲb) than TSH.
7.Perioperative Use of Antibacterials:Analysis of 300 Surgical Cases
China Pharmacy 1991;0(05):-
OBJECTIVE:To analysis the application status of antibiotics in perioperative patients of our hospital.METHO-DS:The use of antibiotics in 300 perioperative patients(100 with type Ⅰ incisions and 200 with type Ⅱ incisions)from June to November in 2006 were analyzed retrospectively.RESULTS:In the patients with type Ⅰ incisions,Cephalosporins took the lead on the list of DDDs,followed by Penicillin,Nitroimidazole,FQNS,and Aminoglycosides.CONCLUSION:Physicians should have an increased awareness to the rational prophylactic use of antibiotics in perioperative patients to lower the perioperative infection rate of incisions.
8.INFLUENCE OF STARVATION ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF PHOSPHATASES, GLYCOGEN AND RIBONUCLEIC ACID IN THE MOUSE LIVER
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1954;0(02):-
Adult albino mice were starved for 66 to 120 hours and the liver was examined forphosphatases, glycogen and ribonucleic acid. Alkaline phosphatase was found to increasemoderately while acid phosphatase showed no significant change. Both glycogen andribonucleic acid disappeared completely. The periphery of the hepatic lobule often stainedmore deeply than the centre due mainly to the conspicuous staining of the cell borderand of the Kupffer cells. The duration of starvation had no infiuence on the amountof both alkaline and acid phosphatases. In the refeeding experiment, mice starved for 48 to 72 hours were refed and werekilled 11 to 72 hours after subjecting to normal diet. The liver cells contained even greateramount of glycogen than in control animals. The restoration of ribonucleic acid was onlypartial. Both alkaline and acid phosphatases showed variable activities in the refeedingliver. The liver cells usually swelled and became rarefied, the sinusoids were very in-conspicuous. The swelling and rarefation of liver cells were caused by the accumulationof glycogen during refeeding. Three days refeeding did not bring this histological pictureto that of the control liver.
9.Experimental Study on Effect of Acupuncture Associating with TAX on General State and Tumour-curbed Rats of Lewis Lung Cancer Mice
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(01):-
Objective Adopting acupuncture associating with TAX to treat mice with Lewis lung cancer,to investigate the anti-cancer effect and its mechanism, and affirm their cooperating effect. Methods Lewis lung cancer model in mice was established and treated with acupuncture, medication and the combination of acupuncture and medication separately. The growth state of the mice, change and growth curve of tumour, change of tumour-weight and tumour-curbed rate were observed. Results Acupuncture,TAX and the combination of acupuncture and TAX all can curb the tumour, and the combination was the best. Conclusion The combination of acupuncture and TAX has a marked anti-cancer effect and can improve growth state of the mice. The effect of combining method is better than single therapy.
10.Favorable outcome of ischemic stroke in patients pretreated with statins
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(21):-
Objective To evaluate the independent effect of premorbid statins on incident ischemic stroke severity and outcome at discharge. Methods We included consecutive patients with ischemic stroke and recorded demographic data, vascular risk factors,Oxfordshire Classification, the method of treatment National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score, previous statins treatment, and outcome discharge. We analyzed the data using univariate methods and a logistic regression with the dependent variable of good outcome(Barthel Index,BI 95 to 100).Results A total of 185 individuals met study criteria:57 patients were on statins agents prior to admission and 128 were on no statins.Pretreatment with statins was associated with lower presenting median NIHSS(6.0 vs 13.0,P
