Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(05):-
Objective We adopt acupuncture associating with TAX,to investigate the anti-cancer effect and mechanism. Methods 48 mice with inoculated Lewis Lung Carcinoma were divided randomly into 4 groups:model group, acupuncture group, medicine group, combination of acupuncture and medicine group.Growth state of the mice and change curve of tumour.Protein expression of apoptosis related factor p53 and Bc1-2 in tumour were observed by Western Blotting method. Results Acupuncture,TAX and the combination of acupuncture and TAX separately had anti-tumor effect, with the combination was the best and improve growth state of the mice.p53 and bc1-2 can be detected in four groups.Compared with model group, the expression of other groups was lower.Compared with acupuncture group and medicine group, the exprission of combination group of acupuncture and TAX was lower.Conclution Combination of acupuncture and TAX can prohibit p53 Mutant and decrease Bcl-2,which have co-operating effect.

The informatization of traditional Chinese medicine resources is the basis of modern medicine. With a spatial attribute traditional Chinese medicine resources could be carried out for in-depth spatial analysis, data mining and traditional Chinese medicine resources regional industrial layout. In this paper, we took the data of Glycyrrhiza uralensis in the third national Chinese medicine resources survey as the experimental data, described the principles and structure of traditional Chinese medicine resources spatial information database. We also described the establishment of analysis model with the help of this spatial database.

Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2015;35(2):193-197
OBJECTIVETo study the correlation between Chinese medical types of coronary heart disease (CHD) [i.e., phlegm turbidity syndrome (PTS) and qi deficiency syndrome (QDS)] and their metabolites.
METHODSRecruited were 65 CHD patients including 37 cases of PTS and 28 cases of QDS. Serum endogenous metabolites in the two syndrome types were determined by gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer-computer (GC/MS), and their differences between their metabolic profiles analyzed.
RESULTSMore than 100 chromatographic peaks were totally scanned. Chromatograms obtained was matched with mass spectrum bank, and finally we got the category contribution value of 46 kinds of substances. Results of MCTree analysis showed patients of PTS and patients of QDS could be effectively distinguished. Compounds contributing to identify the two syndromes were sequenced as serine, valine, 2 hydroxy propionic acid. Comparison of metabolites showed contents of serine and 2 hydroxy propionic acid were higher in patients of PTS than in patients of QDS (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe differences in the metabonomics of CHD TCM syndrome types could provide material bases for TCM syndrome differentiation of CHD, indicating that metabonomics technologies might become a new research method for TCM syndrome typing.

Objective To evaluate the clinical application of 2000 ArthroCare System in knee arthroscopic surgery. Methods 221 cases of knee problems were treated with 2000ArthroCare System. The disorders of the 221 cases diagnosed by the arthroscopy were as follows: 73 cases of osteoarthritis, 49 meniscus tear, 29 degenerative cartilage injury, 11 plica synovitis, 11 Kaschin Beck disease, 8 ACL, 5 osteochondritis dissecans, and 2 TKA brisement. The operative procedures, such as meniscectomy, meniscoplasty, fitting of cartilage and ligament, synovectomy, and release of lateral patellar retinaculum, were done with 2000ArthroCare System and arthroscopy. Results The Lysholm Knee scores were 43.92 preoperatively, 81.96 three months postoperatively, and 92.06 six months postoperatively. Conclusion Knee problems can be effectively released with 2000 ArthroCare system vaporization under arthroscopic guidance. The advantages of this procedure are very limited tissue damage, mild reaction, less blood loss, early rehabilitation, and fine functional recovery.

This paper introduces an infusion remote-control system based on wireless data-transfer.It can realize such functions as the accurate control of the infusion speed, humanized prompt, central monitoring, wardship and management.Ultrasonic adopted to detect the flux, the lower MCU can fulfill such functions as control, display and storage, which can also perform real-time wireless communication with the upper PC to facilitate remote control.

OBJECTIVETo study the effect of Angelica sinensis, Salvia miltiorrhiza and Ligustrazine on function of peritoneal macrophages during peritoneal dialysis.
METHODSPeritoneal macrophages of mice were cultured in culture medium (control), peritoneal dialysate (PD), drugs contained PD containing Angelica, Salvia and Ligustrazine combined (PD-ASL) or separated (PD-A, PD-S, PD-L) with concentration of 2 micrograms/ml, 10 micrograms/ml and 100 micrograms/ml, separately for 24 hrs. The nitric oxide (NO) content, methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) reducing capacity (MTT-RC) and phagocytosis capacity of macrophages were determined and compared.
RESULTSNO content and MTT-RC of macrophages cultured in PD group were significantly lower than those of the control (P < 0.01), as compared with those in drug contained PD groups, the NO content in the PD-L group and the MTT-RC in the PD-ASL group were higher significantly (P < 0.01). The phagocytosis capacity and NO content in the PD-ASL group were raised along with the increased concentration of drug in PD.
CONCLUSIONAdministering Chinese herbal medicine during peritoneal dialysis has important significance in improving the defense function of peritoneal macrophages, reducing the incidence of peritonitis and enhancing the therapeutic effect of peritoneal dialysis.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effect of Bushen Gujin Recipe (BGR) on serum and synovial expression of interleukin-1 (IL-1) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) in knee osteoarthritis (KOA) model rabbits.
METHODSTotally 36 8-month-old healthy male New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups, i.e., the normal control group, the model group, the Western medicine group (Meloxicam, at the daily dose of 6 mg/kg), and the TCM group (BGR, at the daily dose of 53 g/kg), 9 in each group. Modeling was performed in all rabbits except those in the normal control group by using Hulth A method. All medication was performed for 8 consecutive weeks. Contents of IL-1 and TNF-α were detected using ELISA from serum, partial synovial tissue of the front knee joint, cartilage and subchondral bone of the medial femoral condyle.
RESULTSThe joint space became narrowed in the Western medicine group, ranging between the model group and the TCM group. The articular surface was rough with obvious osteophytes. The joint space was slightly narrower in the TCM group; the articular surface was slightly rough with mild osteophytes. Compared with the normal control group, contents of IL-1 and TNF-α in serum and synovial increased in the model group (P < 0.01). Compared with the model group, contents of IL-1 and TNF-α in serum and the synovial fluid decreased in the two treatment groups (P < 0.01). There was no statistical difference in contents of IL-1 and TNF-α between the Western medicine group and the TCM group.
CONCLUSIONBGR promoted the synthesis of cartilage matrix and carti- lage repair through inhibiting the secretion of IL-1 and TNF-α, and prolonging cartilage degeneration.
