1.Analysis of Measurement Uncertainty in Determination of Irbesartan Tablets by HPLC

Objective:To find out the impacting factors in uncertainty by analyzing the measurement uncertainty in the determina-tion of irbesartan tablets by HPLC and provide the evidence for the measurement evaluation. Methods:A mathematic model for calcu-lating uncertainty was established, and every component in the uncertainty was assessed. Results:The expanded standard uncertainty for the HPLC determination was 2. 4%. Conclusion:The measurement uncertainty of the experiment is mainly caused by the measur-ing method.
2.Effect of video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery in treatment of hemopneumothorax

Objective To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS)in treating hemopneumothorax. Methods 83 cases of hemopneumothorax treated with exploratory thoracotomy with the help of VATS were retrospectively analyzed. Results All the 83 cases were completed successfully by the VATS.22 cases were treated with bunamiody resection,42 eases were treated with lung repair operation,12 cases were treated with pleuropexy,5 cases were treated with albumingel injection,2 cases were treated with thoracotomy because of serious injury.All patients were followed up 1 year and were found in good condition. Conclusion VATS could treat bunamiody resection and lung repair operation,can stop the bleeding effectively, cause less injury,good therapeutic effect and quickly recovery.
3.Diagnosis and surgical treatment of retrosternal goiter

Objective To observe the diagnosis and surgical treatment of substemal goiter. Methods The clinical data of 26 cases with substemal goiter underwent thyroidresection were retrospectively analyzed. Results All the 26 cases were treated by operation. 20 cases were operated by Lower collar incision. 6 cases were operated by ster-notomy. The pathological results showed nodular goiter in 18 cases,follicular adenoma in 6 cases,and papillary carcinoma in 2 cases. Conclusions Surgery via cervical collar incision was fit for most of retrostemal thyroid nodules,and sternotomy or thoracotoray were safely fit for large or carcinomatous substemal goiter. Most cases of retrostemal goiter could be removed by Lower collar incision.
4.Studies on the inhibitory effect of PTEN protein on the proliferation of rat renal fibroblasts stimulated by TGF-?_1

Objective To investigate the effect of PTEN protein on the proliferation of rat renal fibroblasts resulted from the stimulation of TGF-?_1. Methods In vitro, the cultured rat renal fibroblasts were transfected with the adenovirus containing PTEN. Invert fluorescent microscope was used to detect the GFP expression, meanwhile PTEN mRNA was determined by RT-PCR method. 48h after the transfection, TGF-?_1 was added into the culture medium in a concentration of 10ng/ml. After another 24h, the proliferation rate of rat renal fibroblasts was determined by means of MTT method. Immunocytochemistry was also used to detect the expression of PCNA. Results As GFP positive fibroblasts were detected,the expression of PTEN mRNA was significantly increased in the rat renal fibroblasts which were transfected with the adenovirus containing PTEN. Accompanied with the expression of PTEN, the proliferation of cultured rat renal fibroblasts resulted from the stimulation of TGF-?_1 was obviously inhibited, and the expression of PCNA was significantly decreased. Conclusion PTEN could suppress the proliferation of rat renal fibroblasts caused by stimulation of TGF-?_1, and it might be useful to inhibit renal fibrosis and delay the rate of renal impairment.
5.Research on quality testing for active spot scanning proton and heavy ion accelerator

Objective To study the quality testing of dose delivery system of the active spot scanning proton and heavy ion accelerator,in order to provide the reference for the quality control of related equipment.Methods In the four therapy rooms,both 0.6 cc chambers and Gafchromic EBT3 films were used,respectively,to test the accelerator for dose reproducibility,dose linearity,dose stability,depth dose distribution,beam scanning position deviation and radiation field uniformity in each therapy room.Results Dose reproducibility variation coefficients are all less than 1.5%,dose linearity's maximum deviations less than 2%,dose stability's deviations less than 2%,depth dose distribution stability within 2%,beam scanning position deviation less than 1 mm,consistency of irradiation field's deviation less than 2 mm,and flatness within ± 5%.Conclusions The indicators about quality testing for the active spot scanning proton and heavy ion accelerator are all in line with the requirements of IEC standards draft.
6.Quality control research of active spot scanning proton and heavy ion accelerator's radiation field uniformity

Objective To develop the method for testing the consistency of irradiation field produced by the active spot scanning proton and heavy ion accelerator.Methods Calibration of the EBT3 films were carried out with the calibrated ion beam to establish the dose calibration curve.According to the different proton and carbon ion energies (proton:94.29,150.68,212.62 McV;carbon ion:175.99,283.43,412.54 MeV/u),EBT3 films were located in the solid water phantoms in each therapy room,respectively.Finally,the irradiated EBT3 films were scanned and the radiation field size's deviation and flatness were analyzed.Results In different conditions,radiation field size's deviations were all less than 2 mm and the flatness parameters were all controlled below the 5%.Conclusions EBT3 films can be used to test the active spot scanning proton and heavy ion accelerator's radiation field uniformity.
7.The expression of nitric oxide synthase and its association with proliferation and apoptosis of HCC cells

Objective This study was to investigate the relation of nitric oxide synthase with cell proliferation and apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Methods The expression and localization of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and PCNA in 21 patients with HCC were studied by immunohistochemistry. Apoptotic cell in tissue section was detected by TUNEL (terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase [TdT] mediated desoxyuridinetriphosphate [dUTP] nick end labeling). Results The iNOS protein was markedly expressed in the liver tissue of hepatic cirrhosis or chronic liver hepatitis, which was close to tumor edge. Meanwhile it was weakly or undetectable in the liver tissue localized beyond 1.5 cm from the tumor edge. The iNOS protein was markedly expressed at the invasive tumor edge and HCC cells that invased into stroma, but it was weakly or undetectable at the most tumor core. OBJECTIVE:To observe the stabilities of zedoary turmeric oil and glucose injection mixing with 5 kinds of antibiotics METHODS:The contents of curcamol in mixed fluid were detected with UV spectrophotometry,and the external appearance and value of pH were observed RESULTS:After mixing zedoare turmeric oil and glucose injection with 5 kinds of antibiotics,no gas and sediment were found Values of pH were different in the 5 simples,and did not change markedly over 3 hours The concentration of curcumol was markedly reduced and the sample turned to brown in mixing with cefoperazone sodium;the concentration was declined in mixing with ceftriaxone sodium and decreased 6% with cefradine and was not markedly reduced in mixing with clindamycin and netilmicin CONCLUSION:This preparation is compatible with netilmicin and clindamycin,however,it is incompatible with cefoperazone and ceftriaxone
10.The influence on the quantity of the template DNA on the results of the automatic fluerescent detection of STR multiplex amplification

Objective For the purpose of exploring the influence exerued by the amount of template DNA on the results of automatic fluerescent detection. Method For the purpose of buiding the optimal amount of template DNA amplified, we have analyzed different amount of template DNA (9947A) by 3100 Genetic Analyzer with the multiplexing Profiler Plus Kit. Results The optimal amounts of template DNA amplified were between 0.31ng and 2. 5ng by using 3100 Genetic Analyzer. Conclusion It will produce the incorrect analytic results if the amounts of template DNA were too high or too low.
