Objective To investigate the influence of thymosin injection combined with chemotherapy on the immune function and quality of life in patients with ovarian cancer. Methods A total of 206 patients with ovarian cancer were chosen and were divided into the control group (n = 103) and the observation group (n = 103) according to the random number table. The control group received chemotherapy. Based on the treatment of control group, the observation group was additionally treated with thymosin injection, the immune function and quality of life were analyzed and compared between two groups. Results The rates of effectivity and disease control were higher in the observation group than those in the control group [44.66 % (46/103) vs 30.10 % (31/103), 86.41 % (89/103) vs 66.99 % (69/103)], the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =3.942, 4.138, P = 0.022, 0.015), and number of cases of adverse reactions were lower in observation group than those in the control group (22 cases vs 35 cases, χ2= 3.601, P = 0.026), and the improvement rate of quality of life of patients were higher in the observation group than that in the control group [60.19 % (62/103) vs 40.78 % (42/103), χ2 = 3.974, P = 0.021]. After treatment, the expression levels of IgA, IgG, IgM and CD3, CD4, CD4/CD8, NK cells were significantly higher in the observation group than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (all P < 0.05). Conclusion Thymosin injection combined with chemotherapy is helpful to improve the immune function and the quality of life in patients with ovarian cancer, it is worthy of wider promotion and application.

Objective To discuss action of microelement Se in serum and milk of gestational diabetes melli-tus parturient.Methods The serum and milk samples were collected from 50 gestational diabetes mellitus parturient and 50 healthy parturient.The selenium contents were detected by radioimmunoassay.Results The serum Se content in gestational diabetes mellitus parturient was obviously lower than that in healthy parturient(t =2.128,P <0.05). The milk Se content in gestational diabetes mellitus parturient was lower than that in healthy parturient(t =1.014, P >0.05).Conclusion Selenium deficiency persisted in gestational diabetes mellitus parturient.But Selenium defi-ciency did not exist in milk of gestational diabetes mellitus parturient.So encouraging breastfeeding,elevating selenium containing food intake,and supplement the selenium preparation properly maybe prevent and delay type 2 diabetes in gestational diabetes mellitus parturient.

Objective To investigate the influence of Norcantharidin(NCTD)on apoptosis-related gene expression of gastric cancer cell line SGC-7901.Methods The experiment was divided into control group,5-Fu group,NCTD group and 5-Fu+NCTD group.The inhibitory rate,apoptosis rate and expression of survivin,bcl-2,and caspase-3 were detected by MTT assay,flow cytometry and SABC immunohistochemical method,respectively.Results NCTD showed that the inhibitory effect on growth of SGC-7901 cells with a dose-and time-effective dependent manner.The apoptotic rate increased from(8.30?1.49)% to(20.56? 1.32)%.The expressions of survivin decreased from(86.57?4.39)% to(26.11?2.27)% and bcl-2 from(85.35? 3.25)% to(30.26?1.83)%,while caspase-3 increased from(54.49?3.07)% to(92.78?2.47)%,5-Fu had the synergistic effects with NCTD.Conclusion NCTD can inhibit the growth of SGC-7901 cell lines.5-Fu had the synergistic effects with NCTD.The mechanism might correlate with induction of cell apoptosis via effect of the expression of apoptotic-related genes such as survivin,bcl-2 and caspase-3.

Mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) s a serine/tyrosine kinase which s expressed widely and regulates various signal transduction pathways in mammalian cell. As one of the key branches of MAPK pathway, p38 MAPK signaling pathway plays an important role in various physiological and pathological processes, such as cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis and cell cycle regulation. In recent years, the research on p38MAPK signaling pathway in cell growth, metabolism and function of osteoclast, osteoblast and chondrocyte related to bone metabolism has attracted increasing attention. This article reviews the relationship beween p38MAPK and bone metabolism, in order to investigate the mechanism of action of p38MAPK in bone metabolism related diseases.

Objective To investigate the situation and demands of the nursing services for both urban and rural elderly people with chronic diseases in China,so as to provide basis of establishing the new elderly care mode. Methods 1902 urban and rural elderly with chronic diseases in almost 29 provinces had been enrolled by the convenience and stratified sampling method to complete the investigation. Results The utilization of relevant nursing care and the demand of psychological counseling and hospice care in cities and towns were higher than those of villages.The demand of common chronic diseases in towns were all higher than that in cities and villages.The demand of pain management in cities wee lower than that in towns and villages.73.3％ of elderly in the survey will choose community to subsequent recovery after discharge.The physical,psychological health and economic status might be the pivotal factors. Conclusions At present,endowment in community becomes an inevitable trend in China.Meanwhile,there are still lots of problems in our community health care services,so it remind relevant staffs that some measures should be taken to change such situations.

Objective To compare the analgesia and side-effects of different concentrations of sufentanil combined with 0.125% ropivacaine for postoperative epidural analgesia after general thoracic surgery.Methods Thirty-six ASA Ⅰ-Ⅲ patients (25 males, 11 females) ages 21-64 yrs weighing 42-79 kg undergoing elective general thoracic surgery under general anesthesia were randomly assigned to receive patient-controlled epidural analgesia (PCEA) with 0.125% ropivacaine combined with sufentanil 0.4 (group A, n = 12) , 0.5 (group B, n = 12) or 0.6 ?g?ml-1 (group C, n = 12) . Epidural catheter was placed at T7,8 or T8,9 interspace. The PCEA pump was set up with back ground infusion of 2 ml?h-1 , a3ml bolus dose and a 30-min lock-out period. VAS scores was used to assess analgesia at rest and during movement. The total bolus doses, PCEA button pressing times (effective/actual), vital signs including MAP, HR, respiratory rate, SpO2 and side effects (nausea, vomiting, pruritus and dyspnea) were recorded. Objective To investigate the association between the lumbar vertebral fracture damage degree with the fracture classification,injury score,kyphosis deformity and nerve function injury.Methods According to the damage degree of posterior lig ament complex(PLC),the patients were divided into the PLC intact group and PLC injury group.Its relationship with PLC injury was researched by evaluating the fracture classification,injury score and nerve function injury situation in the two groups.Results The LCS score and TLICS score in the PLC injury group were (7.1±0.8) points and (8.2±0.6) points,which were higher than (5.7±0.5) points and (4.6±0.7) points in the PLC intact group.The Denis score in the PLC injury group was more serious.The Cobb angle in the PLC injury group was 29°,and which in the PLC intact group was 19°.The proportion of nerve function insufficiency in the PLC injury group was 89％,while which in the PLC intact group was only 60 ％.Conclusion The thoracolumbar vertebral fracture is closely related with PLC.PLC damage degree is positively correlated with the fracture classification,injury score,kyphosis deformity and nerve function injury degree.

Objective To investigate the role of PTEN protein in secretion of collagen Ⅳ and fibronectin after stimulation of transforming growth factor beta 1(TGF-?1) from renal fibroblasts of rat in vitro.Methods The cultured rat renal fibroblasts were transfected with the reconstructed adenovirus containing PTEN or adenovirus only containing green fluorescence protein(GFP).The fibroblsts were treated in four manners:control group with no added treatment,TGF-?1 group with TGF-?1 stimulation,PTEN+ TGF-?1 group with TGF-?1 stimulation after Ad-PTEN transfection,and GFP+ TGF-?1 group with TGF-?1 stimulation after Ad-GFP transfection.Invert fluorescent microscope was used to detect the GFP expression,meanwhile the PTEN mRNA was determined by RT-PCR method.36h after the transfection,TGF-?1 was added into the culture medium in a concentration of 10ng/ml.After another 24h,ELISA method was used to evaluate the level of collagen Ⅳ and fibronectin.Results The expressions of both GFP and PTEN mRNA increased obviously after the rats' renal fibroblasts were transfected with adenovirus.The secretion of collagen Ⅳ and fibronectin increased significantly in both TGF-?1 group and GFP+ TGF-?1 group compared with that in control group,and decreased markedly in PTEN+ TGF-?1 group compared with that in both TGF-?1 group and GFP+ TGF-?1 group(P

AIM:To study the clinical effect of silica gel drainage tube combined with lomefloxacin hydrochloride eye ophthalmic gel in the treatment of lacrimal duct obstruction.METHODS:Totally 86 cases (138 eyes) of lacrimal duct embolism treated in our hospital from February to December 2015 were divided into 43 cases (68 eyes) as control group and 43 cases (70 eyes) of the observation group according to whether they were treated with lomefloxacin hydrochloride eye ophthalmic gel.Patients in the control group were treated with silica gel drainage, while the observation group was treated with lomefloxacin hydrochloride eye ophthalmic gel on the basis of the control group.The total effective rate, serum hypersensitivity C-reactive protein (h-CRP) level, complications and recurrence rate were observed and compared between the two groups.RESULTS:The total effective rate in the patients with obstructive nasolacrimal duct, common lacrimal duct obstruction, and lacrimal duct obstruction in observation group were 95.2%, 100.0%, 96.7%, higher than those in control group (P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in preoperative serum h-CRP levels (P>0.05).The serum levels of h-CRP in patients in the observation group at 3d and 7d after operation respectively were 2.40±0.84g/mL, 1.94±0.84g/mL, lower than those of control group at the same time (P<0.05).The complication rate of the observation group was 1.4%, which was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05).Follow up for 6-18mo, the recurrence rate was 11.4% in the observation group, which was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).CONCLUSION:The combination of silica gel drainage tube and lomefloxacin hydrochloride eye ophthalmic gel in the treatment of obstruction of lacrimal duct has good clinical efficacy, low inflammatory reaction, low complication rate and low recurrence rate.

AIM: To establish a method of simultaneously determining ginsenoside Rg1,ginsenoside Re and ginsenoside Rb1 in Tangniaole Granule (Radix Trichosanthis, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng Rubra, Rhizoma Anemarrhenae, Radix Astragali, etc.). METHODS: Three components: ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Re and ginsenoside Rb1 in Tangniaole Granule were determined simultaneously by HPLC, using a Diamonsil C_ 18 ( 4.6 mm?250 mm, 5 ?m), acetonitrile-water as a mobile phase. The detection wavelength was at 203 nm. RESULTS: The relationship among the concentrations and the peak areas of ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Re and ginsenoside Rb1 were linear respectively. The RSD of precision, stability, repeatability and recovery were all less than 3%. CONCLUSION: The method is simultaneous determination for three components in Tangniaole Granule, and can be applied to the quality control of Tangniaole Granule.
