Objective To evaluate fluid distribution in patients on maintenance hemodialysis (HD) by bioimpedance analysis and on the effect of adjusting the dry weight in hemodialysis patients.Methods Forty maintenance HD patients from the dialysis center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University were enrolled as study group.One hundred and two individuals who were tested of physical examination in the same hospital were enrolled as the control group.Sex and age of the two groups were recorded.Body weight,body high,blood pressure,bioimpedance of HD patients (pre-dialysis and post-dialysis) and controls were measured.Bioimpedance was measured by multifrequency segmental bioimpedance analysis,including right arm (RA) bioimpedance,trunk (TR) bioimpedance and right leg (RL) bioimpedance.Bioimpedance ratio (BIR) of three parts was calculated as of 100kHz and 20kHz including RA-BIR,TR-BIR and RL-BIR.Then eight HD patients who had high RA-BIA or TR-BIA according to the reference range which were obtained from 102 controls were chosen for dry weight adjustment.Post-dialysis body weight,blood pressure,and bioimpedance of the eight HD patients were measured again after adjusting the dry weight.Results (1) BIR of three parts in pre-dialysis HD patients were all significantly higher than that in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).BIR of three parts of the post-dialysis HD patients were still higher than that of the control group,but RL-BIR was not significantly (P ＞ 0.05).BIR of three parts of the post-dialysis HD patients were lower than BIR of three parts of the pre-dialysis HD patients,and there was significant different (P ＜ 0.05) with RA-BIR and RL-BIR.(2) After adjusting the dry weight,BIR of three parts of the post-dialysis HID patients were still higher than that of the control group,but none of them was significantly (P ＞0.05).BIR of three parts of the HD patients after adjusting the dry weight were lower than BIR of three parts of the HD patients before adjusting the dry weight,but there was no significant different with TR-BIR(P ＞ 0.05).After adjusting the dry weight,systolic blood pressure of the post-dialysis HD patients were significantly decrease[(150.00 ± 29.28) vs (140.63± 20.78) mm Hg,P＜ 0.05].Conclusions Bioimpedance analysis may be an effective method for adjusting dry weight in hemodialysis patients,and the bioimpedance of arms is the most effective method.The bioimpedance reference range of hemodialysis patients can be according to the reference range of normal individuals.

Objective To describe the method and review the outcome of reconstruction ofⅠandⅡdegree defect of thumb and finger by p artial transplantation of distal to e tissue from the great and /or second toe.Methods A series of 65cases with 71ⅠandⅡdegree thumb and finger defect were r econstructed.Of those,49were thumb defect,12index finger,5middle finger and 5ring fin ger.In 6cases,two digits were reconstructed simultaneously at th e same setting.For thumb reconstruction,the donor transplants were har-vested from great toe in 14cases,fro m 2nd toe in 35cases.All finger recon struction cases were taken from2nd toe.Results Postoperative arterial crisis occu rred in 10digits and venous crisis in4.All digits survived after operative and medication trea tment.Twenty digits underwent seco ndary plastic operation for better c os-metic effect.Forty-two digits in 38cases followed-up from 6months to 13years revealed good pulp pinch function.Sensation recovery to S3 + and above in 30cases(34digits)and two-point discrimination from 6-8mm in 30digits.The patients were satisfied with the appearance of the reconstructed thumb and fingers.There were no major complication in the don or toes.Conclusion The defect of distal segment and finger tip of thumb and /or finger can be reconstru cted by transplantation of partial t issues from the great,2nd or /and 3rd toe.The operation will not be influenced by anomaly of the blood vessels.Both ultimate function and cosmetic effect can meet the patientsdesire.[

Objective:To investigate the expressions of S100A4 and MMP- 2 and their correla-tions to invasiveness and metastasis in gastric cancer. Methods:The expressions of S100A4 and MMP- 2 were detected by SP immunohistochemical method in 49 cases of gastric cancer tissue and 20 cases of normal tissue. Objective To isolate and purify high-purity neohesperidin from Fructus Aurantii extract.Methods Fructus Aurantii extract was treated by macroporous resin and extracted by n-butanol, then concentrated and some solid was precipitated.After crystallizing the precipitate three times, neohesperidin was obtained.The concentration of n-butanol extract was optimized, which was of great importance in the whole preparation.Results The yield of neohesperidin was 48.6% and purity of neohesperidin was up to 98.7% in Fructus Aurantii extract.Conclusion High-purity neohesperidin could be prepared feasibly and economically by proposed method.

Objective To investigate the effect of ketamine on learning and memory function of adult rats after injection of ketamine at early development stage. Methods Twelve rats born in a week were randomly divided into ketamine anesthesia group(Ket group)and normal saline control group(Ns group).Rats in Ket group were intraperitoneally injected with 50 mg/kg ketamine,and those in Ns group were administrated with same amount of normal saline.After eight weeks,Morris water maze test was adopted to explore the latency in place navigation and spatial probe ability.The sections of hippocampus were obtained,and immunohistochemical staining was employed to detect the expression of Bax and Bcl-2.Results In Morris water maze test,the latency in place navigation of Ket group Was significantly longer than that of Ns group(P<0.05),and the spatial probe ability significantly decreased(P<0.05).It Was revealed by immunohistochemical staining that the expression of Bax in Ket group was significantly higher than that in Ns group,while there was no significant difference in the expression of Bcl-2 between these two groups. Conclusion Application of ketamine in neonatal rats may result in learning and memory impairment in adulthood,and the underlying mechanism may correlate to the apoptosis of neuron in hippocampus region.

Objective To explore the effects of urinastatin(UTI) on microcirculation of extra pancreatic organs in rats with acute necrotizing pancreatitis(ANP). Methods A total of 48 rats were randomized into control group, ANP group and UTI group. The model of ANP was established by uniform injection of 5% sodium taurocholate solution under pancreatic capsule, only injection of normal saline in control group. Then the rats of UTI group were injected with UTI through the femoral vein, the rats of ANP group and control group were injected with normal saline. The blood flow of lung, kidney and distal small intestine was measured by radioactive biomicrosphere technique at 2 h and 6 h after ANP.Results Compared with the control group, the blood flow of lung, kidney and intestine was decreased significantly in the ANP group at the 2 h and 6 h after ANP ( P

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is closely related to many systemic diseases, such as other allergic diseases, autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases and mental disorders, and the underlying mechanism is very complex. AD is considered to be a starting point of the allergy march, and affects the occurrence of various allergic diseases such as food allergies, allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma. AD is associated with the occurrence of many autoimmune diseases, decreased incidence of some malignant tumors and low serum levels of vitamin D. AD is not only a potential risk factor for multiple organ infections and osteoporosis, but also increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, nephrotic syndrome, and skin dryness. In addition, mental disorders such as anxiety and depression are also common complications of AD. To recognize and investigate into the associations between AD and systemic diseases is of great significance for improving the prognosis and quality of life of AD patients.
