1.Clinical observation of perfusion of bruceolic oil emulsion and cisplatin for treatment malignant pleural effusion

Objective To evaluate the short-term efficacy and toxicity of perfusion in pleural cavity with bruceolic oil emulsion and cisplatin for malignant pleural effusion. Methods 64 patients with malignant pleural effusion received thoracentesis catheterization in pleural cavity and were devided into 2 groups:the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group(32 cases) were perfused with bruceolic oil emulsion 60 ~ 80ml every time and DDP 60mg/m2. The control group(32 cases) were perfused with DDP 60mg/m2 only,they used it once a week. All patients completed therapy 4 weeks. Results The response rate of treatment group was 81.3% and 56.3% for the control group(x2 =4.65,P<0.05).There was no difference in toxicity between two groups(P>0. 05). Conclusion The efficacy of perfusion with bruceolic oil emulsion and cisplatin in pleural cavity was of promise. It could improve the life quality of the patients. The toxicity is weak,it was worth of clinical application.
3.Clinicopathologic features of primary gastrointestinal non-Hodgkin's lymphoma

The clinical data of 26 cases with pathologically confirmed primary gastrointestinal nonHodgkin's lymphoma (PGINHL) admitted to our hospital from January 2001 to December 2010 were retrospectively analyzed.Among 26 patients,12 cases occurred in stomach,9 cases in small intestine,4 cases in colon and 1 case in multiple sites.The most common symptoms were abdominal pain (73%),followed by gastrointestinal bleeding (23%) and abdominal mass (15%).The main pathological types were MALT lymphoma (35%),diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (35%),and enteropathy-type T-cell lymphoma ( 15% ).There were 14 patients in stage Ⅰ,6 in stage Ⅱ,1 in stage Ⅲ and 5 in stage ⅣV.Radical surgery and/or chemotherapy was the main therapy for PGINHL.
4.Comparison of energy metabolism on brain lacking oxygen between Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge injection and Salvia przewalskii Maxim injection in mice

AIM: To compare the influence of salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge njection (SMBI) and salvia przewalskii Maxim injec tion (SPMI) on energy metabolism of acute brain lacking oxygen. METHODS : The whole brain lacking oxygen model was made by injecting NaNO 2 in mice and then wrote down the existent time of mice and detected the contents of Na +-K +-ATPase, Ca 2+ -ATPase and lactic acid (LD) in the brain. RESULTS: SMBI and SPMI both significantly lengthened the existent tim e of mice with the whole brain lacking oxygen, decreased the contents of LD and increased the activity of ATPase in mice. In increasing the activity of ATPase, the influence of SPMI was more than that of SMBI (P 0.05 ). CONCLUSION: SMBI an d SPMI have distinctive protection on energy metabolism of acute brain lacking o xygen. Both of them can lengthen the existent of mice, reduce the contents of LD in brain and increase the activity of ATPase, but SPMI is more excellent than S MBI in increasing the activity of ATPase.
5.Expression and clinical significance of VCAM-1 and E-selectin in thromboangiitis obliterans

Objective To investigate the expression of VCAM-1 and E-selectin in vessel walls of the patients with thromboangiitis obliterans(TAO).Methods The vessel tissues were taken from 18 cases of amputation operation due to TAO and 16 cases of amputation operation due to non-vascular diseases.The expression of VCAM-1 and E-selectin were assessed by the immunohistochemical method.Results The positive expression rate of VCAM-1 in vessel wall of the patients with TAO was 77.8%(14/18),which of E-selectin was 72.2%(13/18);both of them were obviously higher than 6.3%(1/16) and 6.3%(1/16) in the control group.The positive rate of VCAM-1 and E-selectin had no correlation with the age,smoking amount,smoking time and drug use (P>0.05).Conclusion The expression of VCAM-1 and E-selectin have close correlation with the occurrence and development of TAO.Detecting the expression of VCAM-1 and E-selectin can serve as a diagnostic indicator of TAO.
6.Clinical feature and gene detection in one case of Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome

Objective To explore the characteristics of WAS gene mutation in Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome (WAS). Methods The clinical data of one infant with WAS were retrospectively analyzed. All exons and flanking sequences in WAS gene were detected by PCR. Results A 5-month-old boy, who has a history of eczema and recurrent infection, was hospitalized for thrombocytopenia. CD8+ and CD4+T cell were increased while CD19+B cell was normal. Bone marrow cytology suggested megakaryocyte mature hindrance. WAS gene detection found C.880 A?>?G (p.Ile294Val) mutation, but no mutations were found in parents. This site was a pathogenic mutation predicted by Polyphen 2 software and SIFT software. Besides, sequence conservation analysis of different species found it was a conservative site and structural prediction analysis revealed it may affect the normal protein structure. This site of mutation has not been reported before. Conclusions Gene detection can make early diagnosis of WAS and C.880 A?>?G (p.Ile294Val) is a new mutation.
7.Study on Distribution in Mouse of Tetrandrine Polylactic Acid Microsphere in Vivo

OBJECTIVE:To study the lung targeted characteristic of tetrandrine polylactic acid microsphere(TPM).MET_HODS:TPM and tetrandrine injection were injected intravenously into mouse,an RP-HPLC was established to measure the content of TPM in biological samples,and the concentrations of tetrandrine in different tissues of mice were determined and compared.RESULTS:The determinable concentration of tetrandrine in plasma was in the linear range of 0.519~17.000?g/ml(r=0.9 996),the recovery was 97.32%,the mean value of RSD was 4.46%.After the use of TPM,the concentrations of tetrandrine in mouse tissues were significantly higher than tetrandrine injection,and the highest concentration was detected in lungs of mouse.CONCLUSIONS:TPM is distinguishingly lung targeted.
8.Study on Pharmacokinetics of Lung Targeted Tetrandrine Polylactic Acid Microspheres in Rabbits

OBJECTIVE:To provide scientific evidence for the microsphere's m etabolism in vivo of lung targeted tetran?drine polylactic acid(TET-PLA)microspheres.METHODS:Blood was sampled from carotid artery after microspheres were injected into rabbit through auricular vein,the concentration of TET in plasma was determined by RP-HPLC method;The pharmacokinetic parameters were obtained by using3p87program.RESULTS:Concentration-time curves of TET micro?spheres were fitted to a2-compartment model with t 1/2? of(286.49?237.55)min and AUC of(810.33?287.49)(?g?min)/ml.CONCLUSION:TET-PLA microspheres show sustained release effects in rabbits.
