Objective To observe the curative effect of low melocular weight heparin(LMWH) on the hypercoagulability in acute Kawasaki disease(KD).Methods Forty-six patients were diagnosed KD.Twenty-two cases out of all KD patients whose serum concentration of whether platelet(PLT) or fibrinogen(FIB) was significantly increased or who were found thrombus in their coronary artery by ultrasonic Doppler were treated with LMWH by subcutaneous injection once every day for 7-10 days. All the patients were divided into 2 groups accor-ding to whether using LMWH or not:H group(using LMWH) and NH group(no using LMWH).It were detected before and after treatment that included thrombin time(TT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),international normalized ratio(INR),FIB,plasma mucosity, erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),hematocrit(HCT) and situation of haemorrhage. Results 1.Before treatment,PLT and FIB of patients in H group were significantly higher than those in NH group(Pa

Pesticides, especially chemistry pesticides with high toxicity, high residue, and difficult degradation are a kind of important environment pollutants and pesticide degradation by microorganisms is one of the powerful means to treat pesticide pollution. Many researchers conducted lots of studies on it. Types of pesticide degraders, construction of genetically engineered microorganisms, degrading mechanisms, degradation characteristics, influencing factors, applying effect and so on were summarized in this article. The research trend of degradation of pesticides by microorganisms and problems to be solved were also put forward.

Objective To investigate the rule of the cerebral tissues aquaporin-4(AQP-4) expression in acute and chronic hepatic failure mice.To study the molecular biologic mechanism of the diffusion weighted imaging(DWI).Methods Sixty five male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups randomly, including acute(n=25),chronic hepatic failure(n=25)and control group(n=15). Thioacetamide(TAA)intraperitoneal injection produces the acute and chronic hepatic failure models. All rats in groups were examined with MR DWI.We Observed the distribution of abnormal signal on DWI.The DWI single values of top and lateral cortex of parietal lobe, peripheral region of lateral ventricle in the highest hyperintensity section of brain were measured.Blood ammonia values were examined. The pathologic and immuno-histochemistry and RT-PCR examination for brain specimen were performed. All date were analyzed with statistical methods. Results The mean values of blood ammonia were significantly different (P0.05).Conclusions Increase of the blood ammonia was the main cause for the brain energy metabolic abnormality and AQP-4 mRNA and protein expression. The hyperammonemia was the key factor in the occurrence and development of the hepatic brain edema. The abnormal findings in DWI signal could reflect the range and degree of the brain edema and AQP-4 protein expression.

Objective:To establish a human lung squamous carcinoma cell line and to study its biological characteristics. Methods:Lung squamous carcinoma specimens were freshly resected during operation;the tissues were incubated in vitro and the cell line was named CHLH-1.The biological characteristics of the cells were studied by light microscopy, electron microsco- py,chromosome analysis and transplantation experiment. Results:Cells from the specimens of the primary tumor, the CHLC- 1 cell line and the cells from transplanted tumor possessed the characteristics of malignant squamous epithelium under light and electron microscope. The cell growth curve, doubling time and mitotic index were also observed in vitro.Nuclear chromosome analysis revealed that the tumor was a subtriploid with a mode of 60-68 per cell.Tumor nodes were observed under the skin of nude mice by heterogenic transplantation. Conclusion:The characteristics of the established cell line suggest that it is a newly established human squamous carcinoma cell line.

OBJECTIVETo introduce the experience in the treatment of lower eyelid pouches orbital rim.
METHODSAn incision was made along the margin of lower eyelid and dissection was performed under the orbicularis muscle to expose the orbital septum and periosteum of lower orbital rim. The fat released from orbital septum was transposed just below the lower orbital rim and fixed on the periosteum. If lacrimal groove deformity was not corrected completely, the musculocutaneous flap, which may be excised beside the incision, was kept to correct the deformities further with only the muscle portion.
RESULTS72 cases with lower eyelid pouches complicated with lacrimal groove deformities were treated with transposition of orbital fat and orbicularis muscular flaps. Satisfactory results were achieved in all the patients after a follow-up period of 3-6 months.
CONCLUSIONIt is an effective and feasible technique to correct lacrimal groove deformities with transposition of orbital fat and orbicularis muscular flaps.

BACKGROUNDMicroRNAs (miRNAs) control gene expression by destabilizing target transcripts and inhibiting their translation. Aberrant expression of miRNAs has been described in many human diseases, including schizophrenia. However, the effects on miRNA expression in response to antipsychotic treatment in peripheral circulation have not been thoroughly examined.
METHODSUsing quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR), We quantified the expression of seven candidate miRNAs in plasma samples of 40 first-episode schizophrenics before and after antipsychotic treatment. The patients were all treated with risperidone and achieved remission in 1 year.
RESULTSCompared with the baseline, the expression levels of miR-365 and miR-520c-3p were significantly down-regulated after 1 year of risperidone treatment (P < 0.001). There were no significant correlations between the clinical symptoms and the expression levels of these two miRNAs (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSThis study analyzed possible circulating miRNAs in response to antipsychotic monotherapy for schizophrenia, the further mechanism need to be confirmed.

BACKGROUNDTreating developmental dysplasia of the hip is often challenging. The difficulties include not only the hip surgery itself but also the treatment of the associated lower-limb valgus deformity. However, there have been very few studies on such deformity in patients with developmental hip dysplasia. In this study, we investigated the prevalence and severity of lower-limb valgus deformity, along with the relationship between the severity of valgus deformity and mechanical alterations of the hip or the ipsilateral knee.
METHODSTwo hundred and six affected lower limbs of 116 adult patients with untreated developmental dysplasia of the hip were included in the study, grouped according to the severity of hip dysplasia. Each study participant's radiographs were measured to quantitatively evaluate the mechanical axis deviation of the lower limb, and further to evaluate the prevalence and severity of the lower-limb valgus deformity. Some mechanical alterations of the hip and the ipsilateral knee were also measured on the radiographs.
RESULTSOf the affected lower limbs, 14.1% had valgus deformities. Study participants with Crowe type III hip dysplasia had the most severe deformity and the highest prevalence of deformity. Severity of valgus deformity had a strong positive correlation with the lateral migration of the femoral head but not with the superior migration. A decreased lateral distal femoral angle contributed to the lower-limb valgus deformity, and the lateral distal femoral angle had a strong negative correlation with the severity of valgus deformity.
CONCLUSIONSHip dysplasia is commonly associated with lower-limb valgus deformity, and the severity of the lower-limb valgus deformity is mostly affected by lateral migration but not superior migration of the femoral head. The valgus deformity may originate mainly in the distal femur, in addition to the hip joint itself. These findings can be taken into account when planning to treat the patients with hip dysplasia.
