Objective To evaluate the clinic effect of two kinds of interventional intracavitary closure combined with deligation of varicose veins of lower extremity. Methods Seventy-five sick legs of 68 cases,23 sick legs of 21 cases accepted interventional intracavitary closure combined with high deligation, while 52 sick legs of 47 cases accepted interventional catheter electric coagulation combined with high deligation. Results The average hospitalization time was(2.7±1.4)days, lyins in bed time was 6 hours,12 sick legs(16.0%)suffered superficial skin mild numbness. The follow-up time was(7.3±3.0)months, all the varicose veins were occluded by color Doppler and no local recurrence was found. Conclusion Interventional intracavitary closure is a kind of safe, convenient and effective therapy to varicose veins of lower extremity.

Objective To investigate the role of ECRG2 gene in migration and invasion of human fibrosarcoma HT1080 cells. Methods Tet-on system was used to set up ECRG2-inducible cell clones.Knockdown of ECRG2 gene was done by stably expressing short hairpin RNA (shRNA) specific for ECRG2 mRNA in a highly invasive fibrosarcoma cell line HT1080. The expressions of ECRG2 proteins were detected by Western blotting assay. Wound-healing scrape assay and transwell invasion assay were performed to assess the effect of ECRG2 gene on the invasive properties of HT1080 in vitro. Results The most effective ECRG2siRNA interference and inducible was selected by Western blotting assay. Knockdown of ECRG2 gene significantly promoted the migration and invasion of HT1080 cells while expression of ECRG2 impaired the migration and invasion of HT1080 cells in vitro. Conclusion ECRG2 gene is correlated with the invasive and metastatic potential of fibrosarcoma carcinoma, and expression of ECRG2 induces the inhibition of migration and invasion of HT1080 cell line.

Objective To study the quality control method for Chanshukang granule. Methods TLC and HPLC method were used to identify the Chinese herbal medicines. The determination was carried on HPLC, using Kromasil C18 column (200 mm?4.6 mm, 5 ?m), ethanol-2% glacial acetic acid (40∶60) as mobile phase and detected at the wavelength of 324 nm. Results The Chinese herbal medicines, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Placenta Hominis and Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, in granules were identified by TLC. The calibration curve was linear in the range of 0.625～3.750 ?g for ferulic acid. The contents in three batches were 0.054%, 0.037%, 0.042% respectively. The average recovery was 96.2% and RSD=2.37%. Conclusion The TLC method can be used for the quality control of four herbal medicines in the granule. The HPLC method is simple, sensitive, accurate and provides a certain evidence for controlling the quality of Chanshukang Granule.

Objective We aimed to assess systematically the effect of evidence-based nursing in the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage in puerpera of our country.Methods Relative literature was searched by computer at home according to the inclusion and the exclusion criteria,which was analyzed by RevManS.2 software,and literature selection and repetition was used according to the Note Express software.Results A total of 22 studies were brought into the study,the statistical result was analyzed by fixed effect model and the result was OR=0.29,95％CI (0.22,0.39),P ＜ 0.01.The sensitive analysis was carried out by replacement of statistical models,the result was OR=0.31,95％CI (0.24,0.42),P ＜ 0.01,which indicated that the result was stable and reliable.Conclusions The results of this study show that the application of evidence-based nursing can significantly reduce the postpartum hemorrhage rate in China,which is worthy of application in clinic.

Objective To assess systematically the effect of problem-based learning (PBL) versus traditional methods in nursing students.Methods Relative literature was searched by computer at home and abroad.according to the inclusion and the exclusion criteria,which were analyzed by RevMan5.2 software,and literature selection and repetition were used according to the Note Express software.Results A total of 9 studies of randomized controlled or not randomized controlled trial were brought into the study by random effects model.A total of 1 187 were collected into the study,574 in the experimental group and 613 in the control group.According to subgroup analysis showed by measurement scale,problem-based learning (PBL) can significantly improve the critical thinking ability of nursing students.The results had high stability and reliability.Conclusions PBL teaching method can significantly improve the critical thinking ability of nursing students,and provide a better learning method for clinical teachers and students,which is worthy of further promotion.

Objective To explore the construction and application effects of extended care form for children with epilepsy based on Omaha System.Methods Based on Omaha System,the form was established by referring medical records,literature review and three rounds of focus group discussion.From February to June,2016,48 children with epilepsy were selected as the observation group and received routine care as well as management using the form based on Omaha System;from August to December,2015,48 children with epilepsy were selected as the control group and received routine care and follow-up.The effects of intervention and scores of Family Management Measure were compared between two groups.Results Nursing issues in all domains for the observation group 3 months after intervention were lower than those during hospitalization except financial situation (P＜0.05);there was statistically significant difference in scores of knowledge-behavior-status of main nursing issues before and after intervention except cognition and mental health items (P＜0.05).Duration of hospitalization,expenditure,readmission rate,EEG results and scores of FAMM in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion The construction and application of the form based on Omaha System can provide references for longterm management for children.

BACKGROUND: Formerly, it was thought that the damaged hair cells could not have the repair ability. Recent studies demonstrate that mammal vestibule hair cells also possess certain repair ability after being destroyed.Then, whether mammalia animal cochlea hair cells possess regenerative ability after being destroyed is disputed.OBJECTIVE: To observe cochlear hair cells condition and threshold value change of auditory brainstem response (ABR) at different time following gentamicin ototoxicity by using scanning electron microscope (SEM) technique combined with ABR test, so as to investigate whether cochlear hair cells of mammals can be regenerated after being injured.DESIGN: A randomized and controlled animal experiment.SETTING: Department of Physiology, Shenyang Medical College.MATERIALS: This experiment was carried out at the Hearing Research Room of China Medical University from November 2001 to May 2002. Totally 60 healthy adult white Guinea pigs, with red eyes and sensitive auricle reflex, of clean degree, were used and randomly divided into gentamicin group and normal control group with 30 guinea pigs in each one.METHODS: 100 mg/kg gentamicin was intraperitoneally daily injected into the guinea pigs, serving as gentamicin group. Same volume of normal saline (2.5 mL/kg) was intraperitoneally daily injected into the guinea pigs,serving as normal control group. All the guinea pigs were given medication for 10 successive days. Threshold value of ABR was detected respectively pre-operatively and at the 1st, 3rd, 30th days postoperatively; after withdrawal and execution, scanning electron microscope was used to observe cochlear hair cells of guinea pigs in each group.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① Threshold value of ABR. ②Cochlear hair cell change of guinea pigs at different time following gentamicin ototoxicity.RESULTS: All the 60 experimental animals entered the stage of result analysis with no loss in the midway. ①At 1,3 and 30 days after withdrawal of gentamicin, threshold value of ABR was significantly higher as compared with normal control group, with significant difference [(38.00±3.75), (2.22 ±3.63) dB nHL,t=30.651, P ＜ 0.001];[(39.09±4.22), (2.50±3.54) dB nHL, t=29.708, P ＜ 0.001];[(14.50±3.69), (1.50±2.42) dB nHL,t =13.175, P ＜ 0.001]. Threshold value of ABR recovered obviously on day 30, but did not reach the normal level. ②On the first day after withdrawal of gentamicin , stereocilium of hair cells in second turn of cochlea of guinea pigs presented fusion, distortion, lodging, loss or incompetence and other pathological changes , especially severe in the third turn , also cystic form protrutions appeared outside the stereocilium of inner hair cell; On day 3 after withdrawal of gentamicin, stereocilium of outer hair cells in the second turn of cochlea of guinea pigs still presented fusion, loss, lodging and other pathological changes. Stereocilium of inner hair cell still showed lodging,but the outside cystic form protrutions decreased; On day 30 after withdrawal of gentamicin, stereocilium of outer hair cells in the second turn of cochlea presented fusion, loss , lodging and other pathological change ,which were obviously weaker than those on the 1st day and 3rd day after withdrawal of gentamicin , and at the same time , new born stereocilium appeared in the third turn of cochlea.CONCLUSION: Cochlear hair cell morphology recovery appears in those which survive for 30 days after cochlear hair cells of guinea pigs are damaged following gentamicin ototoxicity, and threshold value of ABR also recovers to some extent, suggesting that cochlear hair cells possess regenerative and repair ability following gentamicin ototoxicity. Hair cells after gentamicin-induced cochlear damage possess regenerative ability.

Objective To assess systematically the effect of (cognitive behavior therapy,CBT) on PANSS of schizophrenia.Methods Relative literature was searched by computer at home according to the inclusion and the exclusion criteria,which were analyzed by RevMan5.2 software,and literature selection and repetition were used according to the Note Express software.Results A total of 11 studies were brought into the study.According to the different time of intervention,the results showed that,the cognitive behavior therapy intervention continued for 2 months,I2 was 80％,the statistical result of random effects model analysis was [SMD=-0.64,95％CI (-1.14～-1.13),P＜0.05]; the cognitive behavior therapy intervention continued for 6 months,I2 was 64％,the statistical result of random effects model analysis was [SMD=-0.40,95％CI (-0.71,-0.08),P＜0.05]; the cognitive behavior therapy intervention continued for 12 months,the statistical result of fixed effects model analysis was[MD=-5.65,95％CI(-6.20,-5.09),P＜0.01].The replacement of statistical models for the sensitive analysis showed that the result was stabile and reliable.Conclusions The cognitive behavior therapy may reduce PANSS of patients with schizophrenia,But because the influence of some factors,the time of intervention is limited,so the result of this research is that the best intervention time for clinical symptoms improvement is from 6 months to 1 year.
