2.Evolution of the thematic structure of oncology based on the co-word analysis
Journal of International Oncology 2015;(10):795-800
Objective To explore the changes of the internal structure and research topics of oncology from 2005 to 2014,and offer reference for the development of the related studies and research policies. Methods The articles published in 203 journals in the area of oncologyfrom 2005 to 2014 included by JCR were chosen.Firstly,we cleaned the author keywords using the TDA software. After that,we standardized and categorized the keywords according to the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH)manually. In the end,we builted the co-occurrence matrixes of high-frequency words in three stages:2005—2007,2008—2010 and 2011 —2014, and drew the evolution maps and strategic diagrams of each stage to analyze the changes of the internal structure and research topics of oncology. Results While the word frequence increasing rapidly, the main keywords reduced gradually from 2005 to 2014.The traditional treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, the diagnostic and the epidemiological investigation were the core subject of oncology. With the screening of neoplasms, the research on the cell physiological phenomena and the genetic phenomena gained vigorous expan-sion.Breast neoplasms, the topic whose deep exploration also led the development of other topics, has always been the hard nut as well as the hot topic of the oncology.During this period, researches on the screening of neo-plasms and the genetic phenomena were developed rapidly. Conclusion The content of oncology will be more thoroughly with some merge, division, development, declining and perishing of the internal themes occurred as well. The boundaries among the sub-structure are becoming more and more blurred and the screening of neo-plasms and the genetic phenomena has gradually become the dominant trend in general practices.
3.CONSTRUCTION OF IMMORTALIZEDBONE MARROW MESENCHYMAL STEM CELLS
Modern Hospital 2015;(1):13-15
Objective To establish immortalized bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) from SD rats in vitro for further research on the characteristics and clinical application of BMSCs.Methods By using L ipo-fectamine TM 2000 -mediated gene transfection, plasmid pCMVSV40T/PUR containing the simian virus 40 large T antigene gene (SV40Tag) was transfected into BMSCs.BMSCs were screened by puromycin and then cultured on an extended scale.Their cell morphology and growth conditions were observed.Growth curve of cells was graphed. The expression of SV40Tag in transfected cells was identified by enzyme digestion method for the detection of tumor forma-tion.Results The growth rate of the experimental group of BMSCs after the 7th generation was significantly higher than that of the control group. No tumorigenicity was found in BMSCs after the 7th generation. Conclusion In vitro, the immortalized BMSCs by pCMVSV40T/PUR can provide basis on a large scale for its application in clinic and sci-entific research.
4.The Origin of Ethical Problems in Medical Genetics and Relevant Strategies
Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(05):-
In the paper,we will deeply research sorts of ethical problems in medical genetics and their origins through a view of the human dual evolutions, and bring forward the viewpoint that any ethical problem can be originated from the conflict between human biological evolution and cultural evolution.Based on fully reasoning the relation between ethical problems in medical genetics and human evolution, the authors put forward a series of corresponding strategies to solve the ethical problems in medical genetics.
6.Physical and chemical characteristics of silk fibroin/fucoidan composite films
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(8):1589-1592
BACKGROUND: Silk fibroin blend films with α-helix cannot be used as biomaterials due to water-soluble and unstable; however, β-sheet structure is stable. OBJECTIVE: To prepare for a β -sheet conformation silk fibroin composite films mixing fucoidan and to observe the physical and chemical characteristics of silk fibroin/fucoidan composite films. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: The physical and chemical characteristics experiments of silk fibroin/fucoidan composite films were conducted in Chemistry Experiment Center of Institute of Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chengde Petroleum College from November 2003 to August 2006. MATERIALS: Fucoidan was isolated from Laminaria Japonica, and Bombyx mori silk was commercially from China Import & Export Company. METHODS: The solution prepared with a different blend ratios aqueous solution of silk fibroin and fucoidan, was cast into apolystyrene plate and incubated at 25 ℃ and 65% relative humidity. Silk fibroin film was formed after dry the plate at the temperature. The composite films were well when the mixing rate of fucoidan was more than 20% (w). The silk fibroin solution and fucoidan solution were mixed according to the different mass ratios of silk fibroin and fucoidan, including 0∶100, 5∶95, 10∶90, 20:80, and 100∶0. The films were marked a, b, c, d and e, respectively. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The physical and chemical characteristics of silk fibroin/fucoidan composite films were examined through Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-rey diffractometry, and thermogravimetry. RESULTS: The conformation of silk fibroin in blend films was revealed to be β-sheet structure according to the results of Fourier transform infrared and X-ray diffractometry spectra. These results demonstrated that the conformation change of silk fibroin occurred from a random coil to a β-sheet structure due to the formation of intermolecular hydrogen bonds between fucoidan and silk fibroin in the blend films. Thermogravimetry showed that the crystalline silk fibroin films had higher thermal stability than the amorphous silk fibroin film. CONCLUSION: The conformation of silk fibroin in composite films was revealed to be a β -sheet structure according to the results of Fourier transform infrared and X-ray diffractometry spectra. The crystalline silk fibroin films showed higher thermal stability than the amorphous silk fibroin film.
7.The efficacy and safety evaluation of 5-FU/LV and FOLFOX4 chemotherapy regimen for colorectal cancer
Journal of Chinese Physician 2012;14(4):480-482
ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of two different adjuvant chemotherapy regimens of 5-FU/LV and FOLFOX4 in patients who suffered from colorectal cancer after having radical surgery.MethodsBy 123 patient who had colorectal cancer and received radical surgery from December 2005,to May 2007 were enrolled in this using retrospective analysis.68 cases received 5 FU/LV chemotherapy regimens and 35 cases received FOLFOX4 chemotherapy regimens. The results of survival rate and side effects were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe survival rates within 3 years of 5-FU/LV and FOLFOX were 77.3% and 80% respectively. There was no significant differences between two chemotherapy regimens ( x2 =1.26,P =0.28).The main side effects included anorexia,nausca/vomiting,alopecia and et al.However there was no significant difference in adverse reactions of two groups ( P >0.05 ).Conclusions5-FU/LV and FOLFOX4 were effective and safe chemotherapy regiments for patients with colorectal cancer after having radical surgery, and the side effects were acceptable in these two groups.

9.Study of severe Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;39(1):92-95
Mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP) is a common pathogen of community-acquired pneumonia in children. In recent years, with increase in the incidence of MP infection, the severe cases caused by the later pathogen are also incresing. At present the pathogenesis of severe Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(SMPP) is still not very explicit, and increased macrolide resistance of MP made a great impact on the treatment. This article reviewed the recent progress in the study of the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of SMPP.
