OBJECTIVE: To provide reference to the service improvement of Chinese drug store. METHODS: The service in drugstores was classified into basic service, pharmaceutical service, medical service and health information service. Each category was analyzed specifically. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: Based on the practice, the drug store should choose the proper combination of service category, which are beneficial to drugstores to shape up their own competitive edge and promote sustainable development.

Oculo-auriculo-vertebral spectrum (OAVS), also known as Goldenhar syndrome, hemifacial microsomia, oculo-auriculo-vertebral dysplasia and facio-auriculo-vertebral spectrum, is a developmental disorder associated with the first and second branchial arches. Most cases are sporadic, while some familial instances observed suggested that the etiology of OAVS heterogeneous. In this review, we summarize the OAVS epidemiology, classification and mainlyheterogeneous etiology.

Objective To investigate the potential role of FoxP3-expressing CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells in children with asthma.Met-hods Intracellular 3-colour flow cytometry and real time PCR were used to assess the expression of FoxP3 in peripheral blood mononuclear cell(PBMC)of asthma, repectively. Results There were similar frequencies of CD4+ CD25+ T cells in peripheral blood of asthma patients and healthy subjects. However, the percentage of CD4+CD25high and CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ in asthma group were lower than those in healthy subjects(Pa

Objective To explore the roles of cytokines in the pathogenesis of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome(HFRS). Methods Double-antibody sandwich ELISA was used to determine serum interleukin (IL)-6, urine tumor necrosis factor (TNF), IL-6 and IL-8 levels in 56 patients with HFRS. Results Serum IL-6, urine TNF, IL-6 and IL-8 concentrations in HFRS patients were significantly higher than those in control group, respectively (P<0.001). The concentrations increased at fever stage, then continued to increase during hypotension stage and peaked at oliguria stage. The concentrations of serum IL-6, urine TNF, IL-6 and IL-8 increased in accord with the severity of the disease and differed greatly among different types of the disease. Serum IL-6 had remarkable relationships with serum specific antibodies. It was positively related to serum β2-microglobulin (β2-MG), blood ureanitrogen (BUN) and creatinine (Cr). Significant positive relationships were also found both between urine IL-6 and TNF, and between IL-6 and IL-8 (r=0.5768, P<0.05; r=0.3760, P<0.01). Conclusion TNF, IL-6 and IL-8 activated during the course of the disease. IL-6 is associated with the immunopathological lesions caused by the hyperfunction of humoral immune response. IL-6, IL-8 and TNF are involved in the renal immune impairment. Determining them might, in certain extent, be used in predicting the prognosis and outcome of patients with HFRS.

Objective To evaluate the effect of transitional care on the quality of life in patients with maintenance hemodialysis (MHD).Methods 101 MHD patients with symptoms of kidney < 80 points were assigned into the interventional group (47 of 51 cases completed the study) and the control group (45 of 50 cases completed the study) by random number table method. The patients in the interventional group received transitional care for 6 months, while control group received routine care. The effects on function index, satisfaction index and clinical index were evaluated at the 3rd month and 6th month after intervention. Results 6 months after intervention, the scores of physical composite, mental composite, burden of kidney disease,symptoms/problems list, effects of kidney disease in the interventional group were 51.78±5.91,55.32±5.36,29.79±17.64,79.39±6.73,68.02±11.38,while the scores of the control group were 38.22±9.46,42.03±8.32,19.58±17.25,69.49±10.10,52.09±16.78,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (t=5.308-9.063,Z=-3.07,P < 0.01).The scores of self-management behavior, health locus of control in the interventional group were 71.30-±5.42,25.74±2.42,while the scores of the control group were 65.0±8.74,22.47±3.97 (t=4.132,4.759,P < 0.01).The nursing satisfaction in the interventional group scored 91.06±7.29,which was significantly higher than the control group scored 86.22±10.72 (Z=-2.45,P< 0.05).The level of serum phosphorus (PO4),Ca × PO4 products, parathormone (PTH) in the interventional group were (1.76±0.35) mmol/L,(51.02±10.04) mg2/dl2,464.56 ng/L,which were significanlty lower than (2.01±0.54) mmol/L,(57.41±17.38) mg2/dl2,625.78 ng/L in the control group (t=-2.691,-2.167,-2.000 in tum,P < 0.01 or 0.05).Conclusions Transitional care achieves good effectiveness on the quality of life in patients with MHD.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(4):291-294
OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate auditory developments and the effectiveness of children with congenital bilateral aural atresia after using softband Ponto and to compare them with children with normal hearing.
METHOD:
Twenty patients (age ranging from 3 months to 21 months ) with bilateral aural atresia were studied. The air and bone auditory thresholds were assessed by auditory brain stem response (ABR). The infant-todder meaning auditory integration scale (IT-MAIS) was used to evaluate the auditory development at three time levels: baseline, 3 months and 6 months.
RESULT:
The average unaided bone conduction hearing thresholds of patients is (17.5 ± 5.9)dB nHL,and the average air conduction hearing thresholds is (72.5 ± 9.3)dB nHL. The average VRA hearing thresholds of 5 patients is (30.5 ± 5.9) dB HL. The IT-MAIS total, detection and perception scores are improved specifically after wearing softband Ponto and approaching the normal level.
CONCLUSION
Softband Ponto is suitable for infants with bilateral atresia. Results from these auditory development testing are encouraging. Softband Ponto should be used as a bridge for surgical implantations when temporal bone is thick enough.

This study was aimed to establish the quality standard of Pyrethri Tatsienenis Flos. The medical material was identified by the microscopy and the thin layer chromatography ( TLC ) methods . The moisture , total ash , acid-insoluble ash and alcohol-soluble extract were determined according to procedures recorded in the Chi-nese Pharmacopoeia (2010 edition). The content of luteolin was determined by the HPLC method. The results showed a strong characteristic microscopic of Pyrethri Tatsienenis Flos , and its TLC identification had a good resolution with clear spots . The mass fractions of luteolin was 0 . 036%~0 . 104% ( average of 0 . 078%) , moisture was 9 . 32%~15 . 82% ( average of 13 . 11%) , total ash was 6 . 65%~8 . 29% ( average of 7 . 45%) , acid-insoluble ash was 0 . 23%~0 . 59% ( average of 0 . 42%) , and the extraction was 21 . 42%~30 . 15% ( average of 24 . 86%) . It was concluded that this established standard was simple to operate with good stability and reproducibility , which can be used for quality evaluation of Pyrethri Tatsienenis Flos .
