Objective To study the effects of rehabilitation interventions on the earthquake injured to reduce the incidences of disability,to improve the recovery of overall function of the wounded in the earthquake and to guarantee their return to family and society.Methods The rehabilitation team·work provided one-month comprehensive intervention on 92 fracture patients after earthquake and assessed with scale of participate and activities ability,before,after and in the middle of intervention.Results The ability of understanding and communication,moving body,taking care of oneself,getting along with others,undertaking daily activities.social participating and the scores from the scale of participate and activities ability improved significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion Rehabilitation interventions with team-work can effectively enhance the abilities of the earthquake injured to participate in activities and improve quality of life.

Objective To analyze blood lipid components in simple obesity children and to explore the effects of obesity in the lipid metabolism and its clinical significance.Methods A total of 90 children,including 50 simple obesity children(obesity group)and 40 normal children(control group),were enrolled in this study.The age ranged from 2.5 to 16.0 years.Their blood lipid profiles of all the children were analyzed.The blood lipid profiles were examined by biochemical analysis,including triglyeride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein(LDL) and high density lipoprotein(HDL),and the livers of all the children were analyzed.The blood lipid profiles were examined by ultrasonograph.Results 1.There were no significant differences in age and height in obesity group and control group,but there were significant differences in body mass index(BMI) and blood pressure(P0.05),which had no statistical meaning.3.Liver ultra sonogram showed that 18 cases had fatty liver(36%) in simple obesity children.Conclusions Metabolic disorder of blood lipid is present in simple obesity children,who have a tendency to get fatty liver.LDL is markedly elevated in obesity group.Arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease should be prevented at earlier period of childhood.

OBJECTIVE To strengthen the hospital infection control to realize the potency feeling among malignant tumor patients under the conduct of psychological nurses and other medical staff.METHODS The related hospital infection control system and the psychological countermeasure of nursing were formulated,we used two groups of comparisons methods around implements,counting and analyzing the effect of the hospital infection control among malignant tumor patients.RESULTS The psychologically healthy instruction enabled the patient positively to coordinate the treatment,the ratio of hospital infection from the original 21.33% dropped to 15.41%,and make the certain dynamic function to the self-realization of the patients' potency feeling.CONCLUSIONS The hospital infection control is an essential and important link to the nursing of the malignant tumor patients;the psychologically healthy instruction is an effective way to promote the self-realization of patients potency feelings.

BACKGROUND:Dialysis membrane is the most important part of a dialyzer, which directly affects the therapeutic efficacy of hemodialysis.
OBJECTIVE:To study the permeability, adsorbability and biocompatibility of high- and low-flux hemodialysis membrane in maintenance hemodialysis process.
METHODS:Forty-six hemodialysis patients due to chronic renal failure were selected, including 24 males and 22 females, aged 26-78 years. These patients were randomized into two groups: FX8 and FX60 groups. Dialog+ dialyzer and bicarbonate dialysate (Braun, Germany) were used in the two groups, and polysulfone membranes FX8 and FX60 were respectively used in the two group. Al the patients received hemodialysis three times per week, 4 hours once. After 4 months of dialysis, blood levels of toxins and inflammatory cytokines were detected in the two groups.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After dialysis, there were no differences in the blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, blood phosphorus levels between the two groups. The clearance rates of β2-microglobulin and parathyrin were significantly higher in the FX60 group than the FX8 group (P < 0.05); the plasma levels of albumin and hemoglobin were significantly higher in the FX60 group than the FX8 group (P < 0.05); but the serum levels of interleukin-8 and tumor necrosis factor-a were lower in the FX60 group than the FX8 group (P < 0.05). These findings indicate that high-flux polysulfone membrane FX60 is superior to low-flux polysulfone membrane FX8 in the clearance of macromolecule toxins and biocompatibility.

Objective To explore the effects of low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) on the virological and pathological changes of newborn mouse liver congenitally infected with human cytomegalovirus (HCMV).Methods Sixty healthy pure line clean level BALB/c mice which were about 10 weeks old (half were female) were divided into five groups (six pairs in each group).The mice in LMWH intervention group and positive control group were intraperitoneally inoculated with 6.0 lg tissue culture infective dose50 (TCID50) of HCMV AD169; those in blank control group were intraperitoneally injected with 0.5 mL dulbecco's modified Eagles medium (DMEM) ; then all the mice were paired to mate.The pregnant mice in LMWH intervention group Ⅰ were subcutaneously injected with LMWH 1000 U/kg daily for 10 days; those in group Ⅱ were subcutaneously injected with LMWH 1000 U/kg daily for 5 days and their newborn mice were subcutaneously injected with LMWH 1000 U/kg daily for 5 days; those in group Ⅲ were subcutaneously injected with LMWH 1000 U/kg daily for 10 days in their newborn mice.All these newborn mice were sacrificed at day 10 of birth.The liver was removed for virus isolation,dry-wet weight determination,pathology examination and quantitative fluorescence-polymerase chain reaction (PCR) detection.The comparison among groups was done by analysis of variance.Results HCMV was isolated from the supernatant of liver tissue homogenate in 10-day positive control newborn mice,while HCMV was isolated in 24-day newborn mice of the other three groups of LMWH intervention.Pathology confirmed that positive control liver tissue had inflammatory changed,liver cell inflammatory swelling degeneration,vacuoles degeneration,specific HCMV inclusion body in nuclear,and portion of liver cell necrosis,while liver pathological results of LMWH intervention group showed mild liver cell inflammatory changes and slight cell inflammatory swelling degeneration,which were similar to the blank control group.The moisture of liver tissue contents in LMWH intervention group decreased more obviously than positive control group.The HCMV DNA loads in 50 mg liver tissues of LMWH intervention groups Ⅰ,Ⅱand Ⅲ were (3.26±0.43),(3.26±0.41) and (3.32±0.51) lg copy,respectively,which were significantly lower than that of positive control group [(7.38 ± 0.53) lg copy; F =314.620,P0.01],while there were no significant differences among LMWH intervention groups (P＞0.05).Conclusion LMWH intrauterine and postnatal interventions can significantly reduce HCMV DNA replication in hepatocytes,and relieve inflammatory changes in liver tissue.

Objective: To explore myocardial protection effect of artificial subhibernation therapy on rabbits with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and its possible mechanism. Methods: A total of 24 rabbits were randomly and equally divided into sham operation group, AMI control group and AMI subhibernation group. Changes of their body temperature, heart rate and respiratory frequency were observed. Serum concentration of creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) was measured by immunosuppression method, and plasma concentration of norepinephrine (NE) was measured by high performance liquid chromatography-electrochemical method. Percentage of myocardial infarct area in left ventricular area (I/LV) and apoptosis index (AI) were compared between two AMI groups. Results: Compared with control group 4 h after establishment of AMI model, there were significant decrease in body temperature [(37.333±0.427)℃ vs. (34.988±0.488)℃], I/LV [(19.281±1.687)% vs. (16.263±2.275)%] and AI [(36.636±1.671)% vs. (34.521±1.356)%], and concentration of CK-MB [(759.863±64.111)U/L vs. (560.225±65.837)U/L] and NE [(200.475±43.581) ng/ml vs. (143.813±43.383) ng/ml] in subhibernation group, P<0.05,or <0.01, but there were no significant changes in heart rate and respiratory frequency between two groups. Conclusion: Artificial subhibernation therapy possesses significant myocardial protection effect on rabbits with acute myocardial infarction through reducing stress response, inducing low temperature and inhibiting cell apoptosis etc.

Objective To investigate the relationships between the parameters of intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM)DWI at 3.0 Tesla and T staging of moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of rectum.Methods Clinical data and MRI findings including con-ventional imaging and IVIM-DWI were collected in a total of 37 patients with moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of rectum proven by pathology.The patients were divided into two groups without (staging T1 and T2)or with myometrial invasion (T3 and T4).The D,D? ,f and ADC values of rectal cancer and normal rectal wall were measured and were compared between the lesion and normal rectal wall,between both groups and among different T stages.The relationships of the parameters of IVIM-DWI and ADC values with the T staging of moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of rectum were analyzed.Results The D,D? ,f and ADC val-ues of rectal cancer were lower than those of normal rectal wall with statistical differences in D,f and ADC values (P <0.05).The differences in D and D? values among different T stages were statistically significant,and LSD Duncan test showed that the differ-ence in D? value between T1 and T4 (P =0.01 7)and between T3 and T4 (P =0.003)and in D value between T2 and T3 (P =0.005) were statistically significant.The D,f,D? and ADC values of noninvasion group and invasion one were (0.93±0.1 6)×10 -3 mm2/s versus (0.77±0.1 9)×10 -3 mm2/s,(27.1±2.94)% versus (24.6 ±4.13)%,(12.6±2.44)×10 -3 mm2/s versus (12.3±3.49)× 10 -3 mm2/s,and (0.95±0.09)×10 -3 mm2/s versus (0.87 ±0.12)×10 -3 mm2/s respectively,and the difference in D value was statistically significant (t=2.5 12,P =0.01 7).Conclusion The parameters of IVIM-DWI and the ADC values are different in rectal cancer and normal rectal wall,and the D value may help to identify the tumor invasion into the muscularis propria.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of acupuncture-general anesthesia on hemodynamics in the perioperative period of patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

METHODSSixty patients of ASA class I-II scheduled to receive laparoscopic cholecystectomy were randomly assigned to two groups equally, Group A, the control group, and Group B, the compound anesthesia group. The general anesthesia applied on them during operation was induced by combined midazolam, fentanyl, propofol and vecuronium bromide, but for those in Group B, 15 min of electric stimulation at bilateral Neiguan (PC6), Hegu (LI4) and Quchi (LI11) was given with an acupuncture anesthesia apparatus before the drug induction as acupuncture anesthesia induction, then the general anesthesia started and maintained the same as that in Group A. Changes of cardiac function and hemodynamics were monitored using thoracic electrical bio-impedance method at different time points of operation, i.e. the baseline before induction (T0), after induction when loss of consciousness (T1), during intubation (T2), beginning of operation (T3), ending of operation (T4), during extubation (T5) and 10 min after extubation (T6).

RESULTSNo significant difference between the two groups was found in operation lasting time and anesthesia maintaining time (P > 0.05). The amount of vecuronium bromide consumed in an unit of time in Group B was significantly lower than that in Group A (P < 0.05). The mean arterial pressure (MAP), heart rate (HR), rate pressure product (RPP), cardiac output (CO), systemic vascular resistance (SVR), and blood flow acceleration index (ACI) in Group A at T1 were all significantly lower (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), but became significantly higher at T2 and T5 as compared with those of baseline (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), while no significant change of them was found in Group B. Moreover, MAP, RPP, SVR and ACI were significantly higher in Group A than those in Group B at T2 and T5 (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).

CONCLUSIONThe acupuncture-general anesthesia shows a bi-directional effect for diminishing the fluctuation of hemodynamics and stabilizing the blood circulation, and also can reduce the consumption of narcotics during operation, so it has an extensive value in clinical practice.
