Objective To investigate the correlation between atypical respiratory pathogens infection and serum vitamin D(VitD) level in children. Methods Serum IgM antibody levels of 11 atypical respiratory pathogens were detected in 414 serum samples of child respiratory infection by using the respiratory tract 11-items detection reagent kits (indirect immunofluorescence assay),including respiratory syncytial virus(RSV),adenovirus(ADV),influenza A virus(FluA),influenza B virus(FluB),parainfluenzavirus(PFlu),Mycoplasma pneumonia(MP),Chlalmydia pneumoniae(CP),Coxsackie virus type B(CoxB),Coxsackie virus type A(CoxA) and legionella pneumophilia(LP).At the same time the electrochemiluminescence assay was used to measure serum VitD level. Results Among 414 samples, pathogen IgM was detected out in 214 samples (51.69%),the top three places of detection rates were FluB,FluA and Mp,their positive rates were 32.13%,23.19% and 13.77% respectively;in cases of positive IgM antibody,17.63% of children developed single infection,34.06% of children developed 2 kinds of pathogen or more mixed infection;there was no statistical difference in the VitD levels between the IgM antibody positive group (median 23.60 ng/mL,3.37-71.50 ng/mL) and the IgM antibody negtive group(median 23.95 ng/mL,3.00-81.70 ng/mL).The IgM antibody positive rate, single infection positive rate and mixed infection positive rate had no statistical difference between the VitD reduce group and the VitD normal group(P>0.05).The positive rate of FluB,FluA and MP IgM antibody had no statistical difference between the VitD reduce group and the VitD normal group(P>0.05).Atypical respiratory pathogens had no correlation with VitD(r=0.005,P=0.912).Conclusion Atypical respiratory pathogens infection may had no correlation with the VitD level reduce.

Objective To screen 18 endophytes from Pseudolarix kaempferi Gord for molluscicidal effect and identify them by morphology. Methods Molluscicidal tests were performed according to the immersion test suggested by WHO and the strain screened was identified by the slide culture. Results The mortality rates of snails immersed by JJ18 broth salified (pH=7) were 26.7%, 76.7% and 100.0% for 24,48 h and 72 h, respectively, and 53.3% and 86.7% in 5% and 10% concentrations of JJ18 broth, respectively. The active components were extracellular moiety of the broth which had no acute toxicity to fish, and JJ18 strain belonged to Aspergillus. Conclusion Extracellular moiety of endophyte JJ18 from Pseudolarix kaempferi Gord is a new resource of molluscicide.

Objective To investigate the impact of alterations within the space of Disse micro- environment on the migration of hepatic stellate cells(HSC) during the process of liver fibrosis, and to ex plore the novel mechanism of liver fibrosis from the view of cell migration. Methods A modified in vitro Boyden chamber system to partially mimic in vivo microenvironment of Disse space of normal and liver fibrosis was employed. The effects of fibrogenetic growth factors on the migration of HSC in liver fibrosis were observed via cell migration and cell proliferation experiments. Results Enhanced platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF)-BB,transforming growth factor(TGF)-?1 and/or epithelial growth factor(EGF) in liver fibrosis resulted in an increase in migratory capacity of activated HSC.The enhanced migration of HSCs induced by PDGF-BB was partially associated with their increased proliferation,while,TGF-?1 or EGF-induced migration was proliferation independent. The elevation of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) or vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)during liver fibrosis had no effect on the migration of HSCs.Conclusions The study provides valuable insights into the role of space of Disse microenvironment in regulating HSC migratory behavior.TGF-?1,PDGF-BB and EGF,which increased in liver fibrosis, could induce the migration of activated HSC.However,bFGF or VEGF has no such kind of effect,al- though they also increased during liver fibrosis.

Objective To confirm the connotation, constitution and classification of the stakeholders in public hospital. Methods The stakeholders of public hospital were proposed through the brainstorm method and literature search. On this basis, the expert consultation scale was developed by using the score-based approach for reference The stakeholders of public hospital were confirmed and classified through two-round expert consultation. Results The research confirms 16 stakeholders of public hospital on the 80% level of support ratio by experts. There were 10 core stakeholders, 5 latent stakeholders and 1 marginal stakeholder. Conclusion Appropriate stakeholder management strategy should be taken for different types of stakeholders.

AIM: To investigate the effects of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF)-mobilized bone marrow stem cells on treatment of the myocardial infarction in experimental rats. METHODS: Three hours after injected with isoprenaline(ISO) interaperitoneally to develop acute ischemic model, rats' bone marrow stem cells were mobilized by G-CSF and migrated to the site of myocardial infarction. The hearts were harvested from 24 hours to 2 weeks after administration of ISO for histopathological examination. RESULTS: 24 hours after administration of ISO , myocardial infarct zones scattered in the pallium of the control group ,there were a large amoumt of inflammatory cells infiltration around the infarct zones and majority of them were neutrophils. The infarction in the G-CSF treatment group was milder, majority of the infiltrative cells were monocytoid; 48 hours after administration of ISO, infarct zones expanded greatly in control group, while that of the G-CSF treatment group increased just mildly; 2 weeks after administration of ISO, there was no significant scar in the G-CSF treatment group. We also found the regeneration of myocytes in the pallium. CONCLUSION: G-CSF treatment protected the ischemic myocardium and it may be used to treat the acute myocardial infarction.

Objective To report the clinical effect of primary percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods A retrospective study was accomplished on the clinical data of 13 AMI patients who underwent PCI from March 2004 to April 2006.Results The infarct-related artery (IRA)was successfully recanalized by primary PCI for 12 AMI patients, without major complications occurred in these cases during hospitalization. Conclusion Primary PCI should be firstly chosen for treatment of AMI in the hospitals which could carry out PCI.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of low-dose herringtonine in lupus nephritis. Methods Harringtonine1mg,which was dissolved in500ml normal saline, was infused intravenously everyday for5to7days as a single course. The total therapeutic period was consisted of3to6courses.Each course was given every2to3weeks.12patients with lupus nephritis were treated in this study. Results Seven patients(58%)achieved complete clinical remission while5(42%)had partial clinical remission. The overall response rate was100%.Conclusion This study suggests that low-dose harringtonine is an effective therapeutic regimen for lupus nephritis with relatively low toxicity and low price. It has the potential to be used widely in treating lupus nephri-tis.

Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the protein expression of Snail in 5 specimens jusxta-eancerous normal breast tissues, 35 specimens of cancerous tissues without metastasis and 20 specimens of breast carcinoma with lymphonode metastasis. Breast carcinoma cell line MDA-MB-231 was transfected with antisense Snail. Results showed that the expression of Snail protein was significantly higher in breast carcinomas than in their normal tissues. The mRNA and protein expressions of Snail in the breast carcinoma cells treated with antisense Snail was significantly decreased while the E-cadherin protein significantly increased (both P < 0.05). The number of invasive ceils treated with antisense Snail was (10.5±1.3)%, while in treated with EGFP was (68.2±2.1)% (P < 0.05). The abnormal expression of Snail contribute to the invasiveness of breast carcinoma. The antisense Snail could prevent the cells ability to invade in vitro, and the effect is related with the up-regulated E-cadherin protein.
