OBJECTIVE: To analyze the status quo and developing trend of the use of antihyperlipidemics drugs in Chongqing so as to provide information for the research, production, marketing and clinical application of these drugs.METHODS: The consumption sum,DDDs and the defined daily cost(DDC) of Antihyperlipidemics in 18 hospitals in Chongqing city from 2004 to 2006 were analyzed statistically.RESULTS: Both the DDDs and the consumption sum of the antihyperlipidemics showed uptrend over the 3 years, with statins dominating the first place over the 3 consecutive years, making up 48.37%,47.74%,and 61.79% respectively, followed by Chinese patent medicines and fibrates.Xuezhikang and simvastatin ranked among the first two places in terms of DDDs.CONCLUSION: Statins and Chinese patent medicines occupied a predominant role among all the antihyperlipidemic drugs in Chongqing, and their use had a bright prospect.
5.Cervical reconstruction after anterior cervical decompression
Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(11):-
It is of great importance for surgery efficacy and avoidance of complications to reconstruct cervical curve, intervertebral height and cervical stability. Anterior cervical decompression includes discectomy and subtotal corpectomy. The former reconstruction comprises simple bone graft, bone graft with plating, cage implantation, cage with plating and total disc replacement. The latter comprises simple bone graft, bone graft with plating, titanium mesh cage with plating, conbinding cage and titanium mesh cage with plating. The common problem is loss of intervertebral height or nonunion occurring in a part of patients.Total disc replacement may preserve motion of affected levels but narrow indication. Based in the decompression, the best method should be choosen to reconstruct cervical stability and intervertebral height.

Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2001;0(05):-
Objective To study dynamic response of serum lipid after fat meal in old persons with fasting TG≤1 70 mmol/L. Methods Using fat meal of 63 9 g/m 2 body surface area, TG, TC, HDL C and LDL C of both elderly and control groups in fasting status and 2, 4, 6 and 8 h after fat meal were determined. Results The TG value after fat meal was significantly higher than that in fasting status( P 0.05). Conclusions The expurgation of triglycerides is delayed in elderly people, meaning that the capacity for fat removal is decreased, and it is possibly the main cause of TG increase in the elderly.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1994;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the effects of pretreatment with different concentrations of sufentanil of ketamine on the differentiation of human helper T cells in vitro. Methods Twenty-two healthy volunteers (11 males, 11 females) aged 20-45 yrs were enrolled in this study. In each volunteer 20 ml of blood was taken from peripheral vein and divided into 7 groups: control group (0.9% NaCl), 3 sufentanil groups (0.05, 0.5, 5.0 ng?ml-1) and 3 ketamine groups (100, 500, 2 500 ng?ml-1) .Whole blood and mononuclear cells from peripheral blood (PBMCs) were incubated in the presence of 0.9% NaCl or different concentrations of sufentanil or ketamine for 24 h. Then the stimulants-phorbolmyristate + lonomycin + glgistap (inhibitor of intracellular protein transport) were added to whole blood and phytohemagglutinin (PHA) was add to PBMCs. The whole blood was incubated for another 4h and PBMCs were incubated for another 48 h. Then the T-lymphocytes were collected for determination of intracellular level of IFN-?(as a marker of Th1 cells) and IL-4 (as a marker of Th2 cells) in the whole blood using three-color flow cytometry and the expression of CCR5 + (as a marker of Th1 cells) and CCR3 + (as a marker of Th2 cells) in PBMCs. The Th1/Th2 ratio was calculated. Results In sufentanil 0.5 and 5.0 ng?ml-1 groups the percentage of Th2 cells was significantly increased while the percentage of Th1 cells and Th1/Th2 ratio were significantly decreased. In ketamine 500 and 2 500 ng?ml-1 groups the percentage of both Th1 and Th2 cells were significantly decreased and the Th1/Th2 ratio was significantly increased. Conclusion Sufentanil can encourage helper cells to differentiate into Th2 cells while ketamine inhibit the helper cells to differentiate into Th1 and Th2 cells, especially the Th2 cells in a dose-dependent manner.
