Objective:To observe the effect of calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) on the expression of osteoprotegerin (OPG) and receptor activator of nuclear factor-kappaB ligand (RANKL) in osteoblast cells through an in vitro breast cancer cell and osteoblast cell co-culture system. Methods:The metastatic breast cancer MDA-MB-231 or MDA-MB-435 cells were co-cultured with osteoblast MG63 cells to establish an in vitro microenvironment of bone metastasis of breast cancer. Objective To assess the value of prenatal ultrasonography in diagnosing fetal absent pulmonary valve syndrome(APVS). Methods This was a retrospective study of 8 fetuses with absent pulmonary valve syndrome. Fetal echocardiography and segmental analysis were used to determine the atrial situs,atrioventricular connections and ventriculoarterial relationships. Cardiac chamber dimensions,Doppler studies of the atrioventricular valve and semilunar value were recorded, and cardiothoracic ratio were calculated. Results Levocardia,normal situs and atrioventricular connections were present in all cases. All cases showed typical signs:severe dilatation of the pulmonary trunk and it's branches, and concurrent occurrence of pulmonary valve stenosis and regurgitation. In 6/8 there was an associated ventricular septal defect,overriding aorta and absent arterial duct(Fallot-like APVS),while in 2/8 there was an assoiciated intact ventricular septal and patent arterial duct. Extracardiac malformations were detected in 5 cases.Conclusions APVS can be accurately diagnosed by prenatal ultrasonography but we should pay more attention to the ventricular septal and arterial duct,due to the existence of two variants.

This study was aimed to evaluate the applicability of common Chinese word segmentation software used in the literature study of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) text,in order to put forward ideas on developing specialized TCM text word segmentation software.By means of installing and operating Chinese word segmentation software,the text segmentation experiment was conducted on TCM text samples.Aspects,such Chinese word segmentation accuracy,speed,maneuverability,reliability,extendibility,portability and other characteristics,were compared among different Chinese word segmentation software.The results showed that there were differences on the accuracy,speed,maneuverability,reliability,extendibility,portability among different Chinese word segmentation software.It was difficult to achieve best performance on different aspects by single software.Through the comparison of different Chinese word segmentation software,the Pan-Gu Segment software showed the best performance on accuracy,with good maneuverability,and high word segmentation efficiency,which was the most suitable for word segmentation in TCM text.It was concluded that developing specialized TCM text segmentation software may be the best solution to meet the requirement of text segmentation in TCM literature study.Basic studies should be strengthened from aspects,such as the construction of standard TCM copus,the completion of TCM dictionary base,the introduction,optimization and innovation of word segmentation algorithm,as well as the development of word segmentation software for TCM text.

Objective To investigate the status of patient safety culture cognition and safety nursing behavior among nurses and examine the influence of patient safety culture cognition on safety nursing behavior of nurses using structural equation model. Methods A total of 350 clinical nurses were recruited in a hospital in Dalian with multi-stage sampling method. Patient Safety Culture Assessing Scale, Safety Behavior Scale were delivered to the investigation object. Results The mean score of the patients safety culture was 4.09±0.47, which was above average;the total score of nurses′safety nursing behavior was 4.74 ± 0.31, which was at high level; the causality model of patient safety culture cognition and the safety nursing behavior was accepted (path coefficient=0.35,P<0.01). Conclusions Nurses′ patient safety culture cognition has a significant impact on safety nursing behavior. Hospital should cultivate the awareness of the patient safety culture, so as to promote the safety nursing behavior.

Methods Two hundred and twenty-five women with moderate PIH were studied while treated with Salvia miltiorrhiza, Ligustrazine and magnesium sulfate in group A, B, and C(n=75 respectively). Fourly adult healthy patients were separately anesthetlzed with (1 )0. 95% isoflurane; (2) fentanyl 5g/kg and thiopentone 4 mg/kg; (3) upper thoracic epidural blockage and (4 ) lumbar epidural blockage,Continuous 5 min ECG were recorded before and a fier anesthesia with spectral analysis of heart rate varlability (HRV) performed by computer program. For power spectral measurement,three frequency band of HRV were evaluated and the effects of each anesthesia were compared. HRV reduced markedly in patients using 0. 95 % isoflurane. with decreases of frequency by 91. 7% (low frequency ), 84. 4% (mid frequency ). and 82% (high-frequency) respectively. In patients after administration of fentanyl 5g/kg, mid and high-frequency components declined 63. 4 % and 65. 4 %. Upper thoracic epidural block restrained the mid and low frequency components by 66 % and 65 % respectively, Following lumbar epidural block the pattern of HRV components did not change. It is concluded that different anesthesia techniques may have significant different effects on autonomic reflexes as presented by HRV.

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children under 2 years old. Methods The clinical features and treatment outcomes were analyzed in 57 children under 2 years old and compared with 153 children more than 2 years old. Results Compared with children more than 2 years old, in children under 2 years old, the number of cases with fever was fewer, the fever peak was lower and the lasting time was shorter. However, in children under 2 years old, the severe pulmonary signs were more common, the incidence of wheeze was higher, meanwhile, the count of white blood cells (WBCs) was signiifcantly increased, more small pieces of lfuff shadow was showed on chest X-ray, and the pulmo-nary complications were fewer, less corticosteroid was needed for treatment. After one-week therapy, the chest X-ray shadows were disappeared in most of children. Complications out of lungs, such as rash, liver function damage and cardiac damage can be found in both groups and no signiifcant difference (P>0.05). Conclusions Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children under 2 years old had the characteristics of mild symptoms, severe pulmonary signs, few pulmonary complications, light systemic inlfammations and mild radiological changes.
