Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(5):1-3
Objective To investigate the awareness rate of TCM knowledge, the application, and demand situation of Chinese appropriate techniques in health clinics in towns and townships of Hunan Province; To put forward the countermeasures of TCM continuing education. Methods 50%of the training doctors were adopted randomly from 4 training courses in health clinics in towns and townships in Hunan Province. The student number of each course was 49, 51, 53, 53, respectively. Self-designed questionaires were used to investigate 206 training doctors. Results 168 (81.55%) doctors’ degrees were technical secondary school degree and college degree;186 (90.29%) doctors’ professional titles were physician assistant and physician; The awareness rate of TCM knowledge was 63.83%;Different study backgrounds of doctors had different effects on the rate of TCM knowledge (χ2=42.42, P=0.01). The using rates of TCM appropriate techniques were all lower than 30%. 96.60%of doctors in health clinics in towns and townships hope to learn one or more TCM appropriate techniques to help diagnose and treat disease. Conclusion The degree, professional title, mastery of TCM knowledge, and TCM appropriate techniques were not optimistic. The doctors in health clinics in towns and townships showed strong desire for TCM appropriate techniques. The health department should combine the actual situation of doctors in health clinics in towns and townships and develop targeted TCM continuing education.

Patients often suffered limb dysfunction after stroke. Upper limb and hand function recovered more slowly than lower limb, and became one of the research focuses in rehabilitation medicine. Timely and effective assessments were important to guide the rehabilitation treatment, evaluate the treatment efficacy and predict functional recovery of upper extremity and hand function. The assessment methods of upper limb and hand motor function included subjective evaluations and objective evaluations. The former included different kinds of scales, which involved assessment focusing on muscle, motor pattern, change of upper limb and hand function. While the latter contained biomechanics, neuroelectrophysiology, functional magnetic resonance imaging, upper limb robotic evaluation system and so on. Scales were proved to have good reliability and validity. But they could not show patients' function accurately because of the subjectivity, and the data could not be kept. Evaluation system with computer was applied in clinical practice more and more widely. In this review, we summarized the assessments on upper limb and hand motor function in patients after stroke.

China Pharmacist 2015;18(10):1805-1807
Objective:To establish an atomic absorption spectrometry method for the determination of lead and ferrum in pre-mix-ture coating film. Methods:The samples were digested by microwave digestion system, and Pb was determined by graphite atomic ab-sorption spectrometry(GFAAS), and Fe was determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry(FAAS). Results: There was good linear relationship within the range of 1.0-5.0 μg·L-1(r=0.999 4) for lead and 0.1-1.0 mg·L-1(r=0.998 4) for ferrum. The recovery of lead was 91. 3%(RSD=1. 4%,n=9)and that of ferrum was 89. 9%(RSD=3. 5%,n=9). Conclusion: The method is accurate and stable, which can be used for the determination of lead and ferrum in pre-mixture coating film

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(07):-
Objective To study the connection between vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and pool prognosis in nephroblastoma. Methods Serum VEGF was measured with immuneohistochemical(ELISA) methods in 35 children of nephroblastoma at preope-ration,1 week,2 weeks after surgery respectively. Simple visiting happened after surgery 4,8,16,32 weeks. The countrol group was 35 healthy children. Result Before surgery, the median VEGF in the children was (89.47?22.45) ?g/L.After surgery 1 week,2 weeks, levels in the children fell significantly to (2.75?0.31) ?g/L,(1.52?0.18) ?g/L.There was a significant difference compared with preoperation ( t =4.125 P

Objective To explore the job burnout and its related factors among nurses. Methods 486 clinical nurses from a three grade second level general hospital were investigated by Moreno-Jimenez nursing burnout scale (NBS) and using SPSS17.0 software and ANOVA method to analyse the data. Results NBS results showed the score of job burnout in 486 objects was (164.92 ± 25.60).Significant differences of job burnout levels were showed among ages, marital status, professional titles, working periods, working relationship, work load, income, and housework periods (P < 0.05).Conclusion Job burnout is a general phenomenon in these investigated nurses and its level is above average.Administrators should pay more attention to these related factors which can easily cause job burnout and take positive feasibility assistant strategies.

Chinese Journal of Pharmacology and Toxicology 2015;(6):986-992
The metabolic properties of cancer cells diverge significantly from those of normal cells. Energy production in cancer cells is abnormally dependent on aerobic glycolysis. In addition, cancer cells have other metabolic characteristics, such as increasing fatty acid synthesis and glutamine metabolism. Emerging evidences show that many key enzymes in dysregulated Warburg-like glucose metabolism, fatty acid synthesis and glutaminolysis are linked to drug resistance in cancer treatment. For example, lactate dehydrogenase A contributes to paclitaxel/trastuzuma resistance in breast cancer, fatty acid synthase is linked to docetaxel/trastuzumab/adriamycin resistance in breast cancer, and glutaminolysis is linked to cisplatin resistance in gastric cancer. Therefore, targeting cellular metabolism may improve the response to cancer therapeutics, and the combination of chemotherapeutic drugs with cellular metabolism inhibitors may overcome drug resistance in cancer therapy. This review discussed the relationship between dysregulated cellular metabolism and chemotherapy resistance, and the way in which targeting of metabolic enzymes can help overcome the resistance to cancer therapy or enhance the efficacy of common therapeutic agents.

Objective To study the effect of trans-theoretical model of behavior on ambulation training in stroke hemiplegic patients. Methods Sixty hospitalized stroke hemiplegic patients from June to December 2013 were selected as control group. The control group was treated with routine nursing and ambulation training guidance. Sixty-two hospitalized stroke hemiplegia patients, from January 2014 to June 2014, were selected as intervention group. Patients in the intervention group received trans-theoretical model of behavior together with ambulation training guidance for 3 weeks and follow-up record for 6 months. Holden functional ambulation categories ( FAC ) and Bathel index were used to evaluate the effect of ambulation training . Result Trans-theoretical model of behavior training improved the walking function and activities of daily living in intervention group patients , compared with those of the control group. Conclusions Taking trans-theoretical model of behavior in walking training health education can improve the ambulation ability and ability of daily living of stroke hemiplegic patients. Therefore this theory can enhance the stroke hemiplegic patients′life quality.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2016;15(5):11-14
Objective To explore the effects of dialectical nursing on recurrent oral ulcers in children. Methods One hundred and eighty-eight cases of children with recurrent oral ulcer hospitalized from March 2013 to June 2015 were randomized into study group and control group using random digit table with 94 cases in each group. The control group was intervened with the modern medical care pattern and the study group was with dialectical nursing care of Chinese medicine besides the modern medical care pattern. The two groups were compared in terms of the curative effect, time for ulcer healing, pains and level of the children′s and parents′satisfaction. Results The curative effect in the study group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.01). The time of the study group was shorter than that of the control one (P<0.001). The level of pains was lower but the degree of satisfaction was higher than that in the control group (all P<0.01). Conclusions The dialectical nursing care combined with modern medical care pattern is effective in treating recurrent oral ulcers in children. It can shorten the healing time and enhance the satisfaction. It can have high value of clinical application and promotion.
