Objective To investigate the relationship between histopathological changes of donor liver and those after liver transplantation and explore its effects on prognosis. Methods The histopathological changes of donor liver and post-transplantation live biopsy were observed in 87 cases. Results The percentage of hepatic degeneration at immediate biopsy of donor liver was 100%,the injury of sinusoid endothelial cell accounted for 41.3%,the hepatic steatosis for 18.3%and the necrosis of liver cells for 10.3%.Conclusion Most of the pathological changes of the donor liver during and after liver transplantation are reversible. The damage of the hepatic sinusoidal cells is the important criterion for the observation of ischemia reperfusion injury.Moderate and heavy hepatic steatosis can be used in the liver transplantation. After liver transplantation,if the necrosis of liver cells gradually gets serious, the risk of transplanted liver losing its function gets bigger,so the comparative observation has very important value in diagnosis.

The models of Cardiacglycoside-induced cardiotoxicity in guinea pigs were made by perfusing isolated heart with Langendorff appa- ratus. The free radicals generation in myocardium following the incidence of ventricular premative beat, ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation were measured respectively by the directed measurement with Electron Spin Resonance ( ESR ) techniques. The results showed the more severe toxicosis, the more much free radicals generate. Free radicals generated significantly in ventricular fibrillation and were scavenged by Superoxide dismutase ( SOD ) and sodium selenate.

ObjectiveTo investigate the immune tolerance function and significance of allogene bone marrow injection to the small intestines transplantation of rats.MethodsInbreeding line rat F344/N and Wistar/A were selected to perform heterotopic graft of the whole small intestine. 7 days before allogene transplantation, donator bone marrow cells (BMC) were injected into thymus of acceptor (the testing group). According to the isogene and allogene rat transplant model, it was comprehended whether injecting allogene donator marrow into acceptor thymus could decrease the acute rejection after transplantation.Results3, 5 or 7 days after allogeneic rat dystopia whole small intestine transplantation, typical reject reaction appeared, but there was no reject reaction in isogenome and testing group. 3 days after allotransplantation, serum soluble interleukin-2 receptor (sIL-2R) and tumor necrotic factor-α (TNF-α) levels were significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.01). The level of serum sIL-2R and TNF-α in the allogene marrow injecting group were only slight higher on the 3rd or 5th day, and getting downtrend, and there was no significant difference compared with isogenic transplantation group.ConclusionAllogenic donator bone marrow intrathymic injecting into acceptor 7 days before small intestina transplantation, can reduce the reject reaction after the grafting. The levels of serum sIL-2R and TNF-α can be selected as a sensitive early diagnosis index of acute rejection after small intestine transplantation.

Objective:In this study, a simple and easy diagnostic index of sarcopenia based on computed tomography (CT) images, linear skeletal muscle index (LSMI), was proposed and its diagnostic efficiency was verified. Methods:From April 2013 to September 2017, patients with cirrhotic gastroesophageal varices were selected from the Department of Gastroenterology, Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University. The SMI of the third lumbar lower than 50 cm 2/m 2 in male and 39 cm 2/m 2 in female was defined as sarcopenia. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, Youden index and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve were used to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of LSMI in patients with cirrhotic gastroesophageal varices. Results:A total of 115 patients with cirrhotic gastroesophageal varices were finally recruited. All participants were randomly divided into modeling group ( n=58) and validation group ( n=57). In the modeling group, the area under the ROC curve of LSMI was 0.913(95% CI:0.84-0.986, P<0.001) in total population, 0.895(95% CI:0.793-0.997, P<0.001) in male and 0.917(95% CI:0.782-1.000, P<0.008) in female. The cut-off value of LSMI was 24.114 cm 2/m 2 in male and 22.54 cm 2/m 2 in female. According to the diagnostic cut-off value of the modeling group, the area under the ROC curve of LSMI was 0.846(95% CI:0.737-0.954, P<0.001) in the validation group. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and Youden index were 88.5%, 80.6%, 79.3%, 89.3% and 0.691, respectively. Conclusions:48.7% of patients with cirrhosis of esophageal and gastric varices have sarcopenia. LSMI is a simple and convenient method for diagnosis of sarcopenia in patients with liver cirrhosis.
