1.Classification and evolutionary analysis of pollen allergens
Chinese Journal of Microbiology and Immunology 2010;30(1):56-59
Objective To classify all the plant pollen allergens, each allergen sequence available was compared with protein family database. After that, the appearance and taxonomic distribution of each protein family could be known. When made reference to evolutionary analysis, a regular rule of the distribu-tion of all plant pollen allergens could be concluded. Methods Protein family memberships of each allergen were assigned by comparing the sequences with the Pfam database. Representative members of the most a-bundant pollen allergen families were compared with the Uniprot database using the BLAST server. Acces-sion number of all the interesting homologous could be obtained and all the sequence information could be ac-quired by Batch Entrez. Finally, the evolutionary trees were drawn with the help of MEGA4.0 software. Re-sults One hundred and sixty-eight pollen allergens were classified into 26 protein families. Profilins, pollen _allerg_1 and EF hands constituted the most abundant pollen allergen families. Profilins and EF hands oc-curred in almost all allergenic plant families, whereas allergenic Expansins, FAD_binding proteins, Amb_V allergens and Thaumatins were confined to single taxon. Conclusion It is concluded that the highly con-served sequences of allergens families such as Profilin may be one of the most important reasons of the cross reactivities in allergic diseases. The classification of pollen allergens may be helpful to clinical practice and basic research.

International Eye Science 2015;(7):1253-1255
AlM:To compare the results of lOL Master, contact and immersion A-scan ultrasound measurements for anterior chamber depth ( ACD ) , and evaluate the difference and consistency.METHODS:Fifty-eight cases (98 eyes) with age-related cataract during July to October in 2013 did the A-scan ultrasound with contact and immersion measurements and lOL Master to get the results of ACD. Difference in measurements between methods was assessed using the variance analysisi. Consistency was assessed using Bland-Altman.RESULTS:The ACD measured by lOL Master was 2. 31~3. 90mm, the mean was 3. 03 ± 0. 38mm. The ACD measured by contact A- scan ultrasound was 1. 51 ~4. 06mm, the mean was 2. 88 ± 0. 56mm. The ACD measured by immersion A-scan ultrasound was 1. 99 ~4. 17mm, the mean was 3. 17±0. 38mm. The results of lOL Master and contact A - scan ultrasound had statistical differences (P=0. 022<0. 05). The results of lOL Master and immersion A - scan ultrasound had statistical differences (P=0. 031<0. 05). The results of contact A-scan ultrasound and immersion A-scan ultrasound had statistical differences (P=0. 000<0. 05). The consistency between three methods was poor. CONCLUSlON: The rank of ACD of patients with cataract is immersion A-scan ultrasound, lOL Master and contact A-scan ultrasound. The consistency is poor, and the three methods can’t be interchanged clinically.
4.Therapeutic Observation of Cupping plus Chinese Medicinal Fumigation for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Due to Phlegm-heat Obstructing the Lung
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2016;35(6):650-652
Objective To observe the effect of cupping plus Chinese medicinal fumigation on expectoration in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) due to phlegm-heat obstructing the lung. Method Eighty-two patients with COPD due to phlegm-heat obstructing the lung were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 41 cases in each group. The control group was given regular Western medications, while the treatment group was intervened by cupping plus Chinese medicinal fumigation in addition to the treatment given to the control group, once a day, 5 d as a treatment course. The therapeutic efficacies were observed after 2 treatment courses. Result The clinical effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, with a statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion Cupping plus Chinese medicinal fumigation can enhance the expectoration in patients with COPD due to phlegm-heat obstructing the lung.

6.Effect of PRL on the expression of CD154 in Jurkat cells
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1985;0(01):-
Expression of PRL receptor mRNA in Jurkat D1.1 cell line was confirmed by RT PCR. CD154 expression of Jurkat cells was significantly increased when these cells were incubated with PHA and recombinant human PRL, suggesting that binding of PRL to its receptor promotes CD154 expression which plays a role in immune regulation.
7.Expression of PRLr mRNA in human immune system
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1999;0(12):-
Objective:To investigate the expression of prolactin receptor(PRLr) in human immune system. Methods:Specimens of human immune system were obtained from both central and peripheral immune organs, including thymus(thymoma), bone marrow, lymph node and peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Specific fragments of PRLr mRNA were obtained through RNA isolation and RT-PCR amplification and confirmed by DNA sequencing. Results:PRLr mRNA was detected from the thymoma, bone marrow, lymph node and peripheral blood mononuclear cells. All the PRLr cDNA fragments generated by PCR were as long as the expected length, which was 276 bp. The sequencing result of the cDNA was identical to the sequence of PRLr cDNA in GeneBank. Conclusion:The study confirmed that prolactin receptor mRNA was expressed in human central immune organs such as thymus and bone marrow and peripheral immune organs such as lymph node and peripheral blood mononuclear cells. This phenomenon provided a biologic structural evidence that neuro-endocrine hormone PRL might play a modulating role on immune cells from receptor's point of view.
8.Pregnancy after Liver Transplantation
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the indications, maternal and fetal/neonatal risks and treatments of pregnancy after liver transplantation. Methods The related published literatures were summarized and reviewed. Results Most females can recover a regular menstrual cycle. Hypertension, preeclampsia, bacterial and viral infection resulted from immuno-suppression therapy and increasing rate of caesarian section are the major risks for the mother. Abortion and pre-term delivery, premature rupture of fetal membrane, hypoadrenalism, abnormality, immune deficiency, hepatitis virus B and cytomegalovirus and bacterial infection are the major risks for the fetus/neonate.Conclusion Satisfactory results can be obtained in most pregnancies after liver transplantation. Evaluation before gestation and surveillance during gestation by the related departments are mandatory. A guideline based on large cases is necessary for pregnancy after liver transplantation.
