2.A research on the structure and biological functions of PPAR? and its relationship with diseases
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(09):-
PPAR ? is one of the three isoforms of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) which are essential regulators of lipid storage and metabolism. PPAR ? primarily stimulats lipid metabolism and energy uncoupling in adipocytes and myocytes as well as involvs in the onset and development of many diseases. As the target of medicines, PPAR ? agonists may be powerful drugs for epidermal wound and metabolic syndrome X.
3.Fronotemporal lobar degeneration: an update
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1982;0(02):-
Frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) is a non-Alzheimer dementia syndrome characterized by focal atrophy of the frontal and/or temporal lobes. Recently, it has been found that FTLD is related to the degeneration of tau protein, and is closely associated with corticobasal ganglionic degeneration, progressive supranuclear palsy, and motor neuron disease. This article reviews the progress in etiology, genetics, pathology, clinical features, and diagnostic criteria of FTLD.
4.Hypotensive Test of Rats by Intravenous Immunoglobulin
Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 1988;0(04):-
In the paper, 32 lots of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG)were tested by an animal model, the hypotensive test of rats. A linear correlation was found between prekallikrein activator (PKA)activity and hypotensive reaction if the inflow of human IVIG was made rapid (r=0.96,n=23). The preliminary observations indicated that it would be satisfactory that the PKA activity was below 35IU/ ml and the size of reduction in blood pressure was not 15% higher than that of control animal's level. The rat model can provide a method for safe usage of the intravenous immunoglobulin and reliable detection of and control over the residual PKA activity in blood products.
5.Experimental Study on Qizhu Jianzhong Decoction Influencing Ulcerative Rats’ IL-6 and GAS in Spleen Yang Deficiency
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2007;0(01):-
[Objective] To explore part of mechanism of Qizhu Jianzhong Decoction treating gastric ulcer and spleen Yang deficiency, impersonally state the scientific connotation of the decoction. [Method] Randomly divide 60 SD rats into normal/ blank control group(Ⅰ), model group(Ⅱ), sucralfate group(Ⅲ), large-dosage group(Ⅳ), middle-dosage group(Ⅴ) and small-dosage group(Ⅵ) of Qizhu Jianzhong Decoction. Except for the group Ⅰ, others are made into rats model of spleen yang deficiency and gastric ulcer with abnormal diet, fatigue, cold and bitter purgation, and cold water stimulant. After being administered medicines, measure their IL-6 and GAS level, and observe the pathological changes of gastric mucosa under microscope. [Result] Compared with group Ⅰ, in the model group, the IL-6 rose, GAS decreased; compared with the model group, other groups of Ⅲ, Ⅳ and Ⅴ all markedly decreased rats serum Ⅱ-6 level and increased GAS level, with obvious difference(P0.05). Under microscope, the gastric mucosa injury degree was less in groups Ⅲ, Ⅳ and Ⅴ than group Ⅱ; and it was similar between group Ⅵ and group Ⅱ. [Conclusion] Groups Ⅳ and Ⅴ have marked cure effect on spleen yang deficiency and gastric ulcer, and group Ⅵ has no obvious cure effect.

Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(21):-
Objective To observe the relationship between impaired glucose regulation(IGR)and the degree of atherosclerosis(AS)on Lacunar Infact(LI)patients. Methods A total of 83 patients with LI confirmed by CT or MRI were collected and divided into 3 groups by their fasting blood glucose, and their medical history and physical examination, the fasting blood lipid, acidum uricum and INI profile were evaluated with an automatic biochemistry machine.By employing a high resolution B-mode ultrasonography the intimae smoothness,intimae-media thickness(IMT)and plaque(s)were observed in bilateral common carotid arteries. Results The hypertension history, smoke history, waistline body mass index(BMI)and the atherosclerosis were all more marked in subjects with IGR than those in NGT(all P
7.Neuroprotective effects of acetylcholine-mediated EDHF in primarily cultured hippocamal neurons insulted by hypoxia-reoxygenation
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(12):-
Aim To study the protective effects of Presumptive endotheliumartmendependent hyperpolarizing factor(EDHF)released from the rat middle cerebral arteries(MCA),which was mediated by acetylcholine(ACh),on primarily cultured hippocampal neurons subjected to hypoxia-reoxygenation injury. Methods Primarily cultured hippocampal neurons was insulted by hypoxia-reoxygenation;EDHF was produced in rat MCA ring by 1 ?mol?L-1 ACh in the presence of NG-nitro-L-argininemethyl ester(L-NAME,a NOS inhibitor)and indomethcacin(Indo,a COX inhibitor);MTT absorbance and the LDH activity were served as the cell injury index,The level of free calcium fluorescence intensity in the cultured hippocampal neurons was monitored by laser scanning confocal microsope. Results Compared with nomal group,MTT absorbance were decreased significantly,LDH activity in the supernate culture fluid and the Ca2+ in hippocampal neurons increased significantly in model group. The conjoined use of 1 ?mol?L-1 ACh and the endothelium-intacted MCA(MCA/Endo)or ACh+MCA/Endo+L-NAME+Indo can repress both the decrease of MTT absorbance and the increases of LDH activity in the supernate culture fluid and the Ca2+ in neurons which resulted from hypoxia-reoxygenation injury;Neither 1 ?mol?L-1ACh alone nor MCA/Endo alone has the similar effects mentioned above, the conjoined use of 1 ?mol?L-1 ACh and the endothelium-denuded MCA(ACh+MCA/-Endo)also has little effect.K+ which concentration is between 25~35 ?mol?L-1 can significantly attenuate the effects afforded by the conjoined use of 1 ?mol?L-1 ACh,MCA/Endo,L-NAME and Indo, but it is not the same situation when it comes to Ba2+.Conclusions Presumptive EDHF can protect primarily cultured rat hippocamal neurons insulted by hypoxia-reoxygenation and the mechanism is partially concerned with the inhibition of calcium overload.
8.Infections in systemic lupus erythematosus:risk factors, clinical characteristics and early diagnosis
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(02):-
Infectious diseases have emerged as one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)patients,so early diagnosis of infectious complication in SLE patients is absolutely beneficial for patients' prognosis.C-reactive protein(CRP)and Procalcitonin(PCT)can help to differentiate infections with active SLE in SLE patients.Serum KL-6 can help to distinguish pulmonary involvement of SLE from infections in SLE patient. The most common pathogens for infection in SLE patients are bacteria, but more attention should be paid to viral and fungal infections, which have been on a rise recently.
9.Anti- Tumor Effect of Vaccination with Irradiation Tumor Cells Transduced with Mouse Interferon-Gamma Gene
Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy 1995;0(02):-
The whole length mouse interferon-gamma (mIFN-?) cDNA was obtained using RT-PCR and was introduced into mouse hepatoma cell line H22 by retroviral vector. We examined the tumorigenicity of mIFN-? gene modified H22 in experimental animals. The results indicated that the gene modified tumor cells had less tumorigenicity than the parental tumor cells and the tumor vaccine had therapeatic effects on tumor-bearing animals.
10.The expression of HER2 and P-gp and its prognostic significance in osteosarcoma
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(05):-
HER2 and P-gp are expressed in most of the human osteosarcoma tissue. The multidrug resistance of osteosarcoma is mediated by P-gp. The insusceptibility of human osteosarcoma to chemotherapy and the poor prognosis is correlated with the expression of P-gp. The expression of the carcinogene HER2 is a prognostic risk factor of the malignancy and metastasis of osteosarcoma. The review will narrate the expression of the HER2 and P-gp in osteosarcoma and its prognostic significance.
