International Journal of Surgery 2010;37(9):609-612
Studies in recent years revel that there is a close relationship between gastrin/cholecystokinin-2 receptors (GAS/CCK-2R) and pancreatic cancer. CCK-2R is widely distributed in human body, but not in normal exocrine pancreas. However, CCK-2R is abnormally expressed in pancreatic carcinoma. The abnormal expression of CCK-2R in pancreatic tissues leads to the abnormal protein expression and activation, changes in acinar cells' morphology and phenotype and an increase in the sensitivity to carcinogenic substances. And some GAS/CCK-2R antagonists can be used for the early and late treatment of pancreatic cancer.

Objective To study the protective effect of estrogen on cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury in rat Methods 120 adult female rats were randomly divided into the intact, ovariectomized(OVX),OVX and estrogen(E 2) replacement groups In the OVX+E 2 group, E 2 valerate(200 ?g/kg) was subcutaneousely injected once a week after the OVX Four weeks after the OVX, all rats were subjected to model of ischemia reperfusion by MCAO Infarct volumes were measured.Pathological changes and apoptosis was detected, and serum estrogen concentration was analyzed Results For different time of ischemia reperfusion, cerebral infarct volume in the OVX+E 2 group was minimal, and in the OVX group was maximal(all P

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(01):-
Currently all military hospitals attach great importance to the management of state-owned assets. However, there still exist some problems, such as weak management consciousness, irregular assets disposing and loose connections between management and accounting. The author ventures some measures to strengthen management consciousness, organization establishment, accounting procedures and monitoring mechanism.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
Confocal microscope and flow cytometry were used to study the adhesion and the expression of adhesive molecules between different metastatic lung cancer cells and endothelial cells (EC) in vitro. Tea polyphenols (TP) were tested for their effect on tumor cell endothelial adhesion. The results showed that the adhesion and expression of CD44?CD54 were significantly higher in PG cells than those in D9 cells. Treatment of EC monolayers with LPS(0 5ug/ml) for six hours caused an increase in adhesion of PG to EC and adhesive molecules expression. TP could inhibit the adhesion of PG to EC and expressions of CD44 and CD54 in dose dependent manner. It suggested that adhesion molecules might play an important role in mediating the adhesion of lung carcinoma to EC and hematogenous metastasis; TP had an inhibitory effect on metastasis of lung cancer.

A volunteer was scanned by spiral CT,the Dicom format images were imported into Mimics software to reconstruct 3-D mandibular model, then optimized by Geomagic and meshed in Ansys software. A good geometric precise three-dimensional finite element model was constructed. The displacement of dentition was similar with clin-ical situation by computer.

Objective:To investigate the change of the serum IL-18, sFas and sFasL levels in patients with severe burn and its correlation with the morbid condition and outcome Methods:Thirty patients, including three fatal cases, had burn with a total burn surface area (TBSA) of 30% or more 45 healthy volunteers were as control group The serum IL-18, sFas and sFasL levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) at various time points ( 1, 3, 5, 7, 14, 21, 28 and 35 days) burn later Results:Compared with control group, the levels of IL-18, sFas and sFasL of patients increased significantly after burn (P

Purpose:To investigate the feasibility of Gemci tabine with Lipiodol Emulsion for treatment of advanced liver cancer and its si de-effects.Methods:31 advanced liver cancer cases were treated with Gemcit abine with Lipiodol Emulsion for arterial embolijation some were treated with ar terial infusion chemotherapy.Early therapeutic effect and side-effects were eva luated after the first initial therapy. Results:In 31 patients ,4 patients were liver metastases from l ung carcinoma,8 patients were liver metastases from pancreatic carcinoma ,7 pati ents were liver metastases from colorectal carcinoma,12 patients were primary ma ssive liver cancer After the first treatment, the symptoms of gastrc pain and app etite were ameliorated, more over, the side-effects (omit, heart toxicity ,myelosu ppression) was slight. Conclusions:treatment using gemcitabine with lipiodol emulsion for arterial emboliyation and arterial infusion for chemtherapy in advanced live r cancer is not only safe but also improves the patients' quality of life. The r esults suggested that the treatment is mild in toxicity.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 2001;0(06):-
Objective The research is to study the temperature rising situation in the thermochemotherapy process of the domestic dog through the hepatic artery, and the bearing ability of heart, liver, and kidney during the process, as well as the biochemical and histological change of the liver after the procedure. Methods A thermostated container of water bath and an infusion pump, both designed domestically, were adopted. Ten domestic dogs were divided into 2 groups of A and B with 5 dogs respectively. Through hepatic artery infusion for group A, glucose solution (GS) was administered at 43?C for 30 minutes, with the flowing rate of 30ml/min, in group B 5% GS at 45?C for 30 minutes, with the flowing rate of 40ml/min added with chemotherapy drug MMC(0.2mg/kg) was administered to 3 dogs and 5% GS with the same flowing rate added with CDDP(1mg/kg) into other 2 dogs. Results The temperature of anus and liver was 0.3~0.5?C and 0.5~1.0?C higher than before the procedure respectively, there was no significant rate changes of heart and respiration during and before the procedure. Four dogs were radiographied after 15 minutes' infusion, showing different degrees of hepatic artery dilation accompanied with relevant increase of infusion. Six dogs were radiographied after 30 minutes' infusion, 5 of them showed arterial contraction astescal on accompanied with relevant decrease of infusion. There appeared slight or moderate increase of aminopherase after the procedure, but in actually returned to normal within a week. Pathologically, there appeared no acute effect on heart, lung and kidney other than slight and reversible damage to hepatic tissue. Conclusions Healthy dogs can endure the chemotherapy treatment of infusion through hepatic arterial fistula at 43?C 45?C for 30 minutes.

Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2012;21(6):335-337
[Objective]To evaluate FANCF gene methylation status and its roles in the pathogenesis acute myeloid leukemia (AML).[Methods]Genomic DNA from primary 30 AML patients and 21 AML cell lines were subjected to FANCF methylation analysis by PCR based restriction enzyme digestion assay.FANCF protein expression was detected by Western blot.In addition,FANCF gene methylation status was further analyzed using bisulfate sequencing.[Results] No FANCF methylation was found in primary AML patients. One (4.76 %) AML cell line contained FANCF methylation in the promoter region. The AML cell line was hypersensitive to MMC with absence of FANCF protein expression.[Conclusion] FANCF methylation is a rare event in AML,and does not contribute to the initiation of AML, but may contribute to the clonal transformation and cellular phenotype maintenance in some AML cell lines.
