Objective:To study the effect of diammonium glycyrrhizinate (DG) on left ventricular function impairment during myocardial ischemia－reperfusion in rats.　Methods:The left ventricular was cannulated through right common carotid artery on the myocardial ischemia－reperfusion injury model. The left ventricler function was assessed before and 10 minutes after the administration of DG, immediate and 20 minutes after initiation of ischemia, immediate and 30, 60 minutes after reperfusion, by measuring the left ventricular systolic pressure (LVSP), left ventricular end diastolic pressure (LVEDP), ＋dp*dtmax and －dp*dtmax. 　Results:Compared with the baseline, all measurements of LVSP, ＋dp*dtmax and －dp*dtmax decreased (P＜0.05,P＜0.01), while LVEDP increased (P＜0.01) after administration of DG. As the time of ischemia－reperfusion lasting, LVSP, dp*dtmax and －dp*dtmax generally decreased progressively, while LVEDP generally increased progressively. 20 minutes after the initiation of ischemia and immediate, 30 and 60 minutes following reperfusion, LVSP, ＋dp*dtmax and －dp*dtmax in the DG group were significantly higher than those in IR group (P＜0.01), LVEDP significantly lower than that in IR group (P＜0.01) at the same time. 　Conclusion:DG can protect left ventricular function against myocardial ischemia－reperfusion injury in rats.

Objective The research is to study the temperature rising situation in the thermochemotherapy process of the domestic dog through the hepatic artery, and the bearing ability of heart, liver, and kidney during the process, as well as the biochemical and histological change of the liver after the procedure. Methods A thermostated container of water bath and an infusion pump, both designed domestically, were adopted. Ten domestic dogs were divided into 2 groups of A and B with 5 dogs respectively. Through hepatic artery infusion for group A, glucose solution (GS) was administered at 43?C for 30 minutes, with the flowing rate of 30ml/min, in group B 5% GS at 45?C for 30 minutes, with the flowing rate of 40ml/min added with chemotherapy drug MMC(0.2mg/kg) was administered to 3 dogs and 5% GS with the same flowing rate added with CDDP(1mg/kg) into other 2 dogs. Results The temperature of anus and liver was 0.3～0.5?C and 0.5～1.0?C higher than before the procedure respectively, there was no significant rate changes of heart and respiration during and before the procedure. Four dogs were radiographied after 15 minutes' infusion, showing different degrees of hepatic artery dilation accompanied with relevant increase of infusion. Six dogs were radiographied after 30 minutes' infusion, 5 of them showed arterial contraction astescal on accompanied with relevant decrease of infusion. There appeared slight or moderate increase of aminopherase after the procedure, but in actually returned to normal within a week. Pathologically, there appeared no acute effect on heart, lung and kidney other than slight and reversible damage to hepatic tissue. Conclusions Healthy dogs can endure the chemotherapy treatment of infusion through hepatic arterial fistula at 43?C 45?C for 30 minutes.

Objective To investigate the effect of UCP2 on cell proliferation, apoptosis, metastasis in cervical squamous carcinoma. Methods Plasmid?mediated downregulation of UCP2 was obtained in cervical cancer cell lines. MTT, flow cytometry and transwell chamber assay were conducted to detect the ability of proliferation, apoptosis and metastasis. Characteristics of UCP2 protein was analyzed by bioinformatics methods. Results (1)UCP2 was verified to be downregulated by qRT?PCR and Western blotting assay.(2)MTT, apoptosis assay and transwell chamber assay showed that the proliferation of SiHa cell was significantly inhibited, and the apoptosis rate was significantly increased, and metastasis was markedly deduced (P < 0.05). (3) Bioinformatic analysis showed that UCP2 was located in mitochondria with several phosphorylation sites, and UCP2 interacted with other proteins to produce biological effects. Conclusion UCP2 may play an important role in the occurrence and development of cervical cancer, and it is expected to be a new target for the early diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer.

Objective To study the clinical effect of tacrolimus combined with small dose of prednisolone in treatment of IgA nephropathy.Methods 84 cases with IgA nephropathy were randomly divided into study group and the control group in accordance with the digital table method.The control group was given simple hormone treatment, while the study group was treated with tacrolimus combined with small dose of prednisolone.The clinical efficacy and safety were compared between the two groups.Results The treatment effective rate (100.00%)and complete remis-sion rate (73.81%)of the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (76.19%, 23.81%),and the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =21.01,11.35,P <0.05 ).After treatment,24h urinary protein level was significantly decreased compared with before treatment.24h urinary protein level[(0.54 ± 0.41)g/L]of the study group was significantly lower than the control group[(1.06 ±0.62)g/L],and the difference was statistically significant (t =4.01,4.58,3.87,all P <0.05).In addition,before and after treatment,the serum creatinine,blood sugar,white blood cells,cereal third transaminase,SBP and DBP levels between two groups had no significant differences (P >0.05).When patients lighter (Lee's Ⅱ level),the team for complete response rate was significantly higher than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =5.01,P <0.05 ). However,with the aggravation of pathological damage (Lee),the effective rate and complete remission rate of the study group and the control group showed a downward trend.The effective rate and complete remission rate of the study group were higher than those in the control group,but the differences were not statistically significant (χ2 =1.03,2.11,1.20,1.20,all P >0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions in the study group (19.05%)was not significantly different from that of the control group (16.67%)(χ2 =0.08,P >0.05 ).Conclusion Tacrolimus combined with small dose hormone for the treatment of IgA nephropathy has high clinical value,it can significantly reduce the level of IgA nephropathy 24h nephropathy,and adverse reactions.

Objective To investigate the change of insulin-like growth factor Ⅱ(IGF-Ⅱ) and its relation with infection in severely burned patients.Methods RIA method was used to determine the serum IGF-Ⅱ level in patients with severe burn.Results Compared with control group, the level of IGF-Ⅱ was increased significantly at 5 postburn days , and persistent 35 days (P0 05).Conclusion IGF-Ⅱ is involved in the pathogenesis of burn , and closely correlated with the infection after burn.

AIM: To study the effects and mechanisms of norepinephrine (NE) on the activity of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-?B) in cardiomyocytes. METHODS: Using the cultured neonatal rat cardiac myocytes, the levels of reactive oxygen species and the nuclear DNA binding activity of NF-?B were measured in cardiomyocytes before and after stimulated with NE alone, NE+prazosin+propranolol, and NE+vitamin E, respectively. RESULTS: NE increased significantly the levels of reactive oxygen species and NF-?B activity in cardiac myocytes. These effects of NE were attenuated by vitamin E pretreatment, as well as prazosin and propranoloe. CONCLUSION: The effects of NE on cardiomyocytes might be exerted partly through NF-?B activation, and associated with NE-induced overproducion of reactive oxygen species via the adrenergic receptor pathway.
