3.Clinical Effect of Low Dose Tetraiodothyronine in Hepatic Fibrosis Activity on Compensated Cirrhosis with T3 Degraded
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2009;16(11):1990-1991
Objectives To investigate change of Tetraiodothyronine(TH)in serum on compensated cirrhosis with T_3 degraded and observe the effect of TH in hepatic fibrosis activity. Methods Sixty patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The patients in experimental group and control group received same treatment, including protecting hepatic function and nutritional support.TH were taken to experimental group with 25 mg/d for a month.clinical effect were estimated,Hepatic function and hepatic fibrosis activity were measured in serum on all patients when the treatment was over. Results In comparison with control group, the levels of AST、ALT、HA、LN、PC-Ⅲand C-Ⅳin serum were lower, the level of ALB Was indiscriminate, and proportionality of A/G was higher in cirrhosis.Clinical effect was same in two groups. Conclusion The level of TH in serum was decreasing in compensation cirrhosis, and additional TH can decrease hepatic fibrosis activity, but can not improve clinical effect in short.

5.Clinical Observation on 22 Cases of Serious Hypothroidism Treated by Combination of TCM and Western Medicine
Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1992;0(08):-
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of combined treatment of TCM and western medicine on serious hypothyroidism. Methods:40 cases of serious hypothyroidism were randomly divided into a treatment group of 22 and a control group of 18 cases. The treatment group were treated by thyroid hormone plus Chinese medicine for warming the kidney to promote diuresis.and the control group were treated by simple thyroid hormone.Improvement of main symptoms arid changes of thyroid functions were investigated. Results:The therapeutic effects of both groups were similar, the improvement of symptoms in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group, and the thyroid function increased in both groups(P
6.Application of Prolene Hernia System in day case tension-free inguinal hernia repair
Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the application of Prolene Hernia System (PHS) in day case tension-free inguinal hernia repair under local anaesthesia. Methods One hundred and seventy patients with inguinal hernia underwent day tension-free repair under local anaesthesia by using PHS (manufactured by Johnson Co., Ltd.) from February 1998 to February 2003. Results The operation time was (15~68) min, with a mean of 35 min. The patients remained in the hospital for (3~20) hours (mean, 8 hours), with slight wound pain and tugging after operation but no need for analgesics. No wound infection or urinary retention occurred. Scrotal hydrocele was found in 4 cases. There were no recurrence or sensation of foreign body in a follow-up period for (2~14) months (mean, 8 months). Conclusions PHS in day case tension-free inguinal hernia repair under local anaesthesia is safe and reliable.
