BACKGROUND:Poultry mesenchymal stem cels are a particular subset of pluripotent adult stem cels derived from the mesoderm, which have great application prospects because of their strong proliferation and multi-directional differentiation potential. OBJECTIVE:To review the source, separation, purification, culture and differentiation of poultry mesenchymal stem cels, and to provide the theoretical foundation and experimental basis for the further research and application of poultry mesenchymal stem cels. METHODS:PubMed and CNKI databases were searched by the first author using key words of “mesenchymal stem cels, poultry, chicken, isolation, culture, differentiation” in English and in Chinese, respectively, to retrieve relevant articles published from 1990 to 2014. Literatures addressing induced poultry mesenchymal stem cels were included, and 42 articles were chosen for further analysis eventualy. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Poultry mesenchymal stem cels have great application prospects in the aspects of establishingin vitro model of poultry cels, studying poultry disease pathogenesis, animal nutrition and meat quality control. Its origin source is wide and easy to obtain. Isolation, purification, culture and biological characteristics of mesenchymal stem cels from different tissues are different. But, the study on poultry mesenchymal stem cels is stil in the exploration process, and there are many technical problems to be solved.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(8):1503-1507
Five flavone C-glycosides were isolated from the methanol extract of the degrease seeds of Ziziphus jujuba var. spinosa though various column chromatography methods including silica gel, MPLC, and HPLC. The structures were elucidated as 6"-feruloyl- 6'''-vanillylspinosin(1), 6",6'"-diferuloylspinosin(2), spinosin(3), swertisin(4) and isoswertisin(5) based on the NMR and MS spectral data. 1 is a new compound.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 2006;0(11):-
Objective To evaluate the theraputic effect of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE)for hepatocellular carcinoma with tumor thrombosis of portal vein. Methods One hundred and six patients of hepatocellular carcinoma with tumor thrombosis of portal vein under treament of TACE were observed before and after the procedure. Results After TACE tumor size reduced>50% in 23 patients,<50% in 25, no significant change in 44.The size of tumor enlarged in 12.The disappearance of portal vein tumor thrombosis accessed in 14,with reduction in 39,and no significant change in 51.Two patients died within one week. Conclusion TACE provides good therapeutic effect on hepatocellular carcinoma with tumor thrombosis of portal vein.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(05):-
Pololike kinase 1(Plk1)contain an Nterminal Ser/Thr kinase catalytic domain and a Cterminal region that contains two poloboxes. As a key regulator of multiple steps during cell cycle across eukaryotic species, many proteins interact with Plk1.Plk1 is highly expressed in malignant cells and serves as a negative prognostic marker in specific human cancer types.Plk1 is a potential target for cancer therapy. Some novel smallmolecule inhibitors of pololike kinase 1 provide novel opportunities for cancerdrug discovery, such as BI 2536,ON01910.

Objective To investigate the occurrence of nocturnal myocardial ischemia and its relationship with sleep-disordered breathing (apneas and oxygen desaturations) in patients with angina pectoris undergoing coronary angiography. Methods Eighty-two men and 14 women referred for consideration of coronary intervention were randomly selected. Observation by an overnight sleep monitor and Holter recording were performed to study sleep-disordered breathing (oxyhemoglobin desaturations≥4% and apnea-hypopneas),heart rates, and ST-segment depressions (≥ 1mm, ≥1 min). Results Nocturnal ST-segment depressions occurred in 37 % of the patients. ST-segment depression within 2 min after an apnea-hypopnea or desaturation occurred in 17% of the patients. This temporal association was seen in 21% of the patients with nocturnal ST-segment depressions, more frequently in men (P<0.05) and more frequently in those with severe disordered breathing (P<0.05).Most of these ST-segment depressions were preceded by a series of breathing events: repeated apnea-hypopneas or desaturations or both in 73% of the patients. Conclusions Episodes of nocturnal myocardial ischemia are common in patients with angina pectoris. A temporal relationship between sleep-disordered breathing and myocardial ischemia was present in some of our patients, and occurs more frequently in men and in those with severely disordered breathing. ObjectiveTo compare the efficacy of intravenous infusion of dexmedetomidine and midazolam for premedication in children.MethodsNinety-two ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ children (46 cases aged 1-3 yr and 46 cases aged 4-6 yr) scheduled for elective general or urologic surgeries, were enrolled in this study. The children were randomly divided into 2 groups (n =46 each):midazolam group (group M) and dexmedetomidine group (group D).The children accompanied by their parents were admitted to the anesthesia preparation room at about 20 min before induction of anesthesia, and midazolam 0.1 mg/kg òr dexmedetomidine 1 μg/kg was infused intravenously over 10 min.Anesthesia was induced with proporol-rocuroniume-remifentanil,and maintained with sevoflurane-remifentanil-rocuroniume.Modified Yale Preoperative Anxiety Scale (mYPAS) score, sedation score,HR,mean arterial pressure (MAP),respiratory rate (RR) and SpO2 were recorded before premedication (T1),before separation from their parents (T2) and when entering the operating room (T3).The incidence of sleep (a sedation score of 4) was recorded at T2,3.The end-tidal concentration of sevoflurane, infusion rate of remifentanil, laryngeal air way removal time, emergence time, duration of stay at the recovery room, incidence of delirium during recovery period, the percentage of patients requiring rescue analgesic, and adverse effects were also retorded.ResultsCompared to that at T1,the mYPAS score was significantly decreased at T2,3,and the sedation score was significantly increased at T2,3 in both groups ( P < 0.05),HR at T2 and MAP at T2,3 were significantly decreased in group D,and HR at T3 was significantly increased in group M ( P < 0.05 ).Compared to group M,the sedation scores and the incidence of sleep were significantly increased at T2,3,and the HR was significantly decreased at T2 in group D ( P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the mYPAS score,RR,MAP,SpO2,end-tidal concentration of sevoflurane, infusion rate of remifentanil, laryngeal air way removal time, emergence time, duration of stay at the recovery room, incidence of delirium during recovery period, the percentage of patients requiting rescue analgesic, and incidence of adverse effects between D and M groups ( P > 0.05).ConclusionThe sedative efficacy of iv dexmedetomidine is superior to that of iv midazolam when infused for premedication in children, but it exerts much influence on hemodynamics, and the changes in hemodynamics should be noted.
