1.To review 250 cases of large corneal transplantation in 1985-1997 year period
Journal of Practical Medicine 2004;480(5):57-59
From the year 1985 – 1997, 250 cases of corneal transplatation were reviewed. The diameter of grafted cornea varied from 8-15mm, among them 113 cases of graft larger than 10mm. After the operation, visual acuty was improved in almost patients. In the case of internal therapy is impossible, this surgery is the only approach to save the eyeball, moreover, the optical function was restored significantly. In the case of progressive infection, which is not responded to the therapy, threatening the eyeball corneal transplantation must be indicated early.

2.Clinical feature, genetic analysis and treatment of primary gelatinous Drop-like dystrophy
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2002;269(2):24-27
A first male patient with age of 30 in Vietnam had typical clinical symptoms and histopathological features of the primary gelatinous Drop-like dystrophy. This was the first time the research on the genetic mutation affirmed the hereditary of the disease. The combination of surgery with the open amniotic transplantation was new method of the treatment.

3.Primary evaluation for ventricular function in healthy adults using radio nuclide ventriculography (R.A)
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):33-34
The study was conducted on 25 healthy subjects (15 males, 10 females) with age ranged from 15 - 60 years. None have heart disease that identified by physical examination, cardiogram and echocardiography. Method of R.A with SPECT and S.A.G.E - Cardiac software was used. Main measurements were emptying parameters, filling parameters and wall motion. Findings suggested that indices of EF, PFR and TPF were similar to that of other oversea studies. Indices of TES, PER, TPE, 1/3EF, 1/3ER, MFR, 1/3FF, 1/3FR were showed but could not compare with other authors because of data limitation in literature. Indices of REF and RRS of wall motion were lower than that of other studies.

4.Investigation on mechanism and drug kinetic release of sodium diclofenac microgranules
Pharmaceutical Journal 2001;298(2):16-19
The aim of this research is to investigate the mechanism and kinetics of drug release from the core and coated pellets containing sodium diclofenac. Avicel was found to be a good excipient to prepare matrix-type pellets. The drug release could be sustained up to 12 hours. the rate of drug release was fit to Higuchi's model. The microphotograph revealed that the drug release was controlled by the diffusion from the isoluble matrix. The drug release was sustained up to 24 hours. The rate of drug release was fit to Higuchi's model, too. The mechanism of drug release was determined to be the diffusion from insoluble matrix and through the insoluble membrane.

5.Study on determination of relationship between releasing rate in vitro and absorption rate in vivo of sodium diclofenac 100mg tablets LA
Pharmaceutical Journal 1999;370(8):21-24
The in vitro correlation of sustained release sodium diclofenac 100mg capsule was characterized. Correlation at level A was established between the rate of in vitro release and that of in vivo absorption. Correlation coefficient was found at 0.9705. This correlation coefficient was found at dissolution test used in this research could be applied for quality control of the capsule. The results of the research also showed that the absorption in vivo was suitable for once-a-day dosage form.

6.Treatment of symblepharon by transplantation of human amniotic membrane
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1998;225(9, 10):6-9
We have been performed amniotic membrane transplantation in 18 patients (20 eyes) with 23 operations (3 eyes were regrafted). One month after operation, 90% of the eyes had exellent result, 10% were good. Three months following the transplantation of amniotic membrane, 10 of 17 eyes had excellent result, in 4 of 14 eyes, the symblepharon was reduced. 6 months after the procedure showed that 9 of 14 eyes had excellent result and only 1 eye had recurrence. The sudy showed that human amniotic membrane is good material for reconstruction ocular surface in severe symblepharon. In the eyes with successful transplantation, ocular surface was covered with a soft, thin membrane with vascularization as natural conjunctiva. The material can be easily taken at anytime. The procedure can be applied in every ophthalmological department of provincial hospitals.

7.Study on application of spreading cellules to investigate on skin absorption possibility of drug from TTS - nitroglycerin
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(5):23-25
The researchers built targets and way to handle skin and built quantitative method notroglucerin by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and quantitative method total nitroglucerin content in sticking-plaster Discotrin 36mg with area of 13,3cm2. The study was carried out in 6 samples and average with RSD = 0,47%, from there find out exactly nitroglycerin level on 1cm2 to evaluate permeation of nitroglycerin through skin in different temperatures ( 41oC, 37oC, 25oC). The result showed that the higher temperature, the more Nitroglycerin is permeated. The permeation of nitroglycerin through skin is defferent in each animal

8.Preliminary study on manufacture process of transdermal patch of nitroglycerin
Pharmaceutical Journal 2003;321(1):15-18
Nitroglycerin, a vasoactive substance, has been used in the treatment of vagina for more than 100 years. To sustain the pharmaceutical effect, doses were administered every 2 hours. Recently the transdermal delivery systems have became popular. Based on eudragit E 100, we combined it with plasticizer (dibutyl sebacate/triethyl citrate), crosslinker (succinic acid), active ingredient (nitroglycerin) and further excipients (e.g. permation enhances: ethyl alcohol) to form a self adhesive matrix system for use in nitroglycerin patch. The concentration of nitroglycerin in the patch was determined by HPLC assay

Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(8):17-21
The study for modernization of traditional prescriptions with the help of new technology of extration and chemistry of natural compounds. With the help of new technologies, 3 traditional prescriptions – Luc Vi, Dai Bo Am, Cam Cum were modernizied. The newly prepraed product – tablets, capsules coated tablet had got pharmacopia criteria and had assured the therapentic effects, the safety thestability, the quality and the utility as the heritage of traditional medicines

10.Arrhymias in hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) patients by 24-hour Holter ECG
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2005;0(3):15-21
The study on 24-hour ambulatory eclectrocardiographic monitoring for 74 hypertensive patients (34 had LVH) without coronary heart disease, diabetes and 34 normal people, the groups were matched for age, sex, BMI, risk factors. Results: the frequency of supraventricular, ventricular arrhythmias and complex ventricular arrhythmias (Lown grade 3-5) in hypertensive patients, especially hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy patients, were significantly higher than in control group. Arrhymias in hypertensive patients were associated with age, LVM. The hypertension increased the risk of supraventricular arrhythmias by 7.2 folds, ventricular arrhythmias by 7.4 folds. The hypertension with LVH increased the risk of ventricular arrhythmias by 4.04 folds, especially increased the risk of complex ventricular arrhythmias to 7.6 folds in comparison with hypertension without LVH
