Objective To investigate the relationship between plasma rennin levels in ischemic stroke patients and aspirin-in-duced gastrointestinal bleeding .Methods 50 ischemic stroke cases in neurology department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from June 2012 to December 2012 were collected and divided into 2 groups depended plasma rennin levels :low rennin group and high rennin group .Low rennin group contained 21 cases and high rennin group containd 29 cases .Ap-pearance of haematemesis ,melena and fecal occult blood were considered as positive identification ,peptic ulcer bleeding in endoscope or death as the endpoint event in 1 year follow-up .Comparison of the incidence of gastrointestinal bleeding between 2 groups was made .Results The average age of patients in low rennin group was higher than that in high rennin group(P<0 .05);blood pres-sure of patients in low rennin group was higher than that of high rennin group(P<0 .05);gastrointestinal bleeding rate of low ren-nin group was higher than that of high rennin group(P>0 .05) .Conclusion Different plasma rennin levels in ischemic stroke pa-tients may be unrelated to aspirin-induced gastrointestinal bleeding .

Objective To evaluate clinical efficacy of shoulder dislocation combined with reverse Hill-sachs injury treated with Neer modified McLaughlin procedure. Methods Clinical data of seven patients for shoulder dislocation combined with reverse Hill-sachs injury in our hospital from October 2013 to June 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. All of the patients were received Neer modified McLaughlin procedure with defect area of humeral head from 25%to 40%. The clinical outcomes were evaluated with plain radiographs, subjective satisfaction, range of shoulder motion, University of Califonia Los Angeles (UCLA) shoulder scale and constant score, which were recorded at the final follow up. Results The mean follow-up period was (12.3 ± 4.3) months. No recurence of shoulder dislocation was found. At the final follow up, a patient was found a slight osteoarthritis based on radiographs. Two patients were very satisfied with the surgery and five patients were satisfied. The average anterior flexion, abduction and external rotation of shoulder were 145.7° ± 12.7° and 148.6° ± 15.7° and 47.1° ± 5.7° respectively. The average UCLA score and constant score were (26.6 ± 2.8) and (78.6 ± 7.2) respectively. Conclusion The Neer modified McLaughlin procedure shows a remarkable clinical effect for shoulder dislocation combined with reverse Hill-sachs injury. The short and mid-term effects are definite with few complications.

Object To study the pharmacokinetics of cinnamic acid in BAOXIN PILL * in rat. Methods Plasma concentration of cinnamic acid was determined by HPLC under the following conditions: column: Hypersil ODS C 18 (150 mm?4.6 mm, 5 ?m); column temperature 30 ℃; mobile phase methanol-1% acetic acid (45∶55); flow rate 0.5 mL/min; detection wavelength 273 nm; aliquot injected 10 ?L. Results A method for the determination of plasma cinnamic acid concentration by HPLC was established. Regression equation of cinnamic acid peak area (Y) and plasma concentration (X) was found to be: Y= 4 973.534 8 +42 867.96 678 X; correlation factor r=0.999 8; rate of cinnamic acid recovery from plasma=97.50% and RSD=1.33%; detection limit=0.15 ng; minimal dectable concentration in rat plasma=75 ng/mL. Absorption pattern of cinnamic acid after ig does showed linearity, corresponding to a first order absorption and elimination of open chamber model. The t 1/2 (K a)=7.12 min; t max =53.29 min, C max =0.20 ?g/mL, and t 1/2 (Ke)=340.74 min. Conclusion The pharmacokinetic parameters obtained in this study may be attributed to the combined action of cinnamic acid and other constituents in the compound preparation of BAOXIN PILL.

AIM: To explore the molecular mechanism of Radix Ophioponis against vascular endothelial cell (VEC) apoptosis induced by LPS. METHODS: The apoptosis of human umbilical vascular endothelial cells(HUVEC) was induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS). The influence of Radix Ophiopogonis on the expression of bcl-2 and intracellular Ca 2+ was detected by flow cytometry and laser confocal microscope. RESULTS: The serum containing Radix Ophiopogonis suppressed the increase in bcl-2 expression and overloading of Ca 2+ induced by LPS in HUVEC.CONCLUSION: The mechanism of Radix Ophiopogonis against HUVEC apotosis may be related with its regulatory effect on bcl-2 expression and remission of Ca 2+ overloading.

Objective To analyze the antioxidant activities of extracts from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. by different solvents, and to determine the contents of total flavonoids. Methods By employing colorimetric method, contents of total flavonoids in different extracts were determined. The free radical scavenging activity of each extract was measured by DPPH method. Results Different extracts from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. by different solvents were provided with DPPH free radical scavenging activities, of which the ethyl alcohol extracts were the highest in scavenging activities. In addition, total flavonoids content of ethyl alcohol extracts was significantly higher than that of others. Conclusion The antioxidant activity of extracts from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. was related to the content of total flavonoids in it.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the inhibitory effects of Brucea javanica oil oral emulsion (BJOOE) on primary liver cancer induced by diethylnitrosamine (DEN). Methods:Rats were randomly divided into the control group, model group, and BJOOE group. Rats were given free access to water. DEN was administered intragastrically to induce liver cancer in rats. Five weeks later, rats were intragastrically administered with BJOOE for five times per week. The rats were killed after 14 weeks. Abdominal aortic blood samples were collected. The contents of ALT, AST, ALP, γ-GT, and AFP of serum were detected by an automatic biochemical analyzer. The liver index, spleen index, thymus index, and changes in liver cancer nodules of the surface were observed in rats. Changes in the number of liver cancer nodules of the surface were detected by imaging. Results:Compared with the control group, the liver index, spleen index, and number of nodules of the model group significantly increased, whereas the thymus index significantly decreased (P<0.01). The levels of ALT, AFP, AST, ALP, andγ-GT of serum in the model group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, BJOOE significantly reduced the liver index, spleen index, and number of cancer nodules, but increased the thymus index in the liver of rats with cancer (P<0.01). The levels of ALT, AFP, AST, ALP, andγ-GT of serum in rats with hepatic carcinoma significantly improved (P<0.01 or P<0.05). Conclusion:BJOOE could inhibit primary liver cancer, and the underlying mechanisms are complex.

Objective To study the expression of phosphorylated serine 910 of focal adhesion kinase(FAKps910)in circulation endothelial cells(CEC)from patients with hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome(HFRS).Methods Fifty HFRS patients were involved in the study and divided into mild(n=17),moderate(n=20)and severe(n=13)groups according to patients' conditions. Twenty healthy volunteers were enrolled as control group. CEC were isolated by Percoll density gradient centrifugation method. The expression of FAKps910 in specific APC-CD31+ CEC was measured by flow cytometry. The data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA. Results The positive rates of FAKps910 in CEC were 59.87%±9.58% in early febrile stage patients and 21.14%±2.53% in the healthy controls, while it was 11.64%±2.17%in the later febrile or hypotension stage patients(F=262.31,P＜0.01).It gradually restored to normal afterwards. The positive rates of FAKps910 in CEC were 17.45%±2.64%,13.84%±2.54% and 7.47%±2.57%,respectively in mild, morderate and severe groups in the later febrile or hypotension stage, which were all significantly different from that in control group(F=52.642,P＜0.01).Conclusions FAK in CEC iS related with the clinical severity of HFRS patients. FAK may be involved in intergrin β3-mediated endothelial injury during Hantavirus infection.

Objective To introduce improved program for traction wire production in endoscopic submucosal dis-section assisted by oral traction. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 40 patients who received en-doscopy intervention. Through the use of improved traction and normal traction, they were divided into experimental group and control group. Then analyze and compare their clinical data like gender, age, traction line installed perfect time, fixed lesions after hemostatic clip off times, one-time complete resection, enbloc resection rate, bleeding and perforation and other complications and other clinical conditions. Results The improvement time was (53.30 ±12.85) s in experimental group, it was significantly shorter than that in control group (105.00 ± 11.68) s ( = 3.42, <0.05). The experimental group fixed lesions after hemostatic clamp off times were significantly less than that in con-trol group (χ2=2.37, <0.05). Conclusions Using innovative methods, adequate preoperative preparation, the op-erator's tacit understanding of nursing cooperation, close attention to the disease after surgery is the key to achieve the desired results of endoscopic surgery.

Objective To investigate the expression fragile histidinetriad (FHIT) protein in cervical carcinoma and its relationship with clinicopathological feature of the disease. Methods Immunohistochemistry SP was used to detect the expression of FHIT protein in 20 cases with chronic cervsis and 95 cases with Ⅰ aⅢ b stage cervical carcinoma before and after treatment. The association of the expression of FHIT with clinicopathological feature was analyzed by the statistical method. Results There were significant differences between FHIT expression and histological grades and types of tissue, lymph node metastasis and invade depth (P ＜0.05). FHIT expression was not correlated with age and clinical stage (P ＞0.05). There were significant differences in FHIT protein expression levels in the patients with cervial cancer between before-after radiotherapy and the levels before radiotherapy was lower then those after radiotherapy (P ＜0.05). There was positively correlated in FHIT protein expression rates before and after radiotherapy (P ＜0.05). There were significant correlation between FHIT expression and 3-year survival rate, the positive rates of the expression FHIT protein higher then negative ones (P ＜0.05). Conclusion FHIT protein has great reference value that could be as a parameter for evaluating biological action and predicting the prognosis of cervical cancer.

Objective To evaluate the effects of drotaverine hydrochloride versus scopolamine in re-ducing duodenal motility and in facilitating cannulation during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatogra-phy (ERCP). Methods Randomized controlled trial of 650 participants from 4 endoscopic centers assigned to receive scopolamine 20 mg or drotaverine hydrochloride 40 mg intravenously 15 minutes before ERCP. Pa-rameters including duodenal motility grades, success rates of deep cannulation, ERCP-related complications and adverse effects were recorded. Results The data of 638 patients (319 in each group) were valid. There were no significant differences in duodenal motility grades (1.17 ±0. 82 vs. 1.13 ± 0.89, P =0. 705), success rate of deep cannulation (90. 9% vs. 91.8%, P =0. 672) and incidence of ERCP-related complications (11.3% vs. 11.0%, P =0. 900) between 2 groups. However, the incidence of tachycardia (heart rate > 120 bpm) during ERCP was lower in drotaverine group than in scopolamine group (2. 2% vs. 6. 9%, P = 0. 004). There was no significant difference in other adverse effects (nausea, vomiting) between 2 groups. Conclusion Drotaverine hydrochloride may provide a reasonable alternative as antimotility agent before ERCP.
