Objective:To improve the understanding of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) secondary to Burkitt lymphoma (BL) in children.Methods:The clinical data of a child with ALL secondary to BL who was admitted to Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University in June 2024 were retrospectively analyzed, and the relevant literature was reviewed.Results:The patient was a boy with the age of 8 years and 8 months. He presented with a neck mass at the age of 4 years and 6 months, and pathological examination revealed a diagnosis of BL with clinical stage Ⅲ. The patient was given regular chemotherapy according to the Chinese Children's Lymphoma Group non-Hodgkin lymphoma mature B-cell 2017 protocol-B2 regimen. PET-CT showed recurrence of lymphoma in 6 months after the suspension of treatment. The patient was given with placement of 125I particles, oral etoposide and dexamethasone, and traditional Chinese medicine. The patient was admitted to hospital at the age of 8 years and 8 months with fever and skin hemorrhagic spots, bone marrow morphology, immunology, cytogenetics and molecular biology typing indicated a diagnosis of B-ALL with TCF3::PBX1 fusion gene. The patient received induction chemotherapy according to the Chinese Children's Leukemia Group-ALL 2018 protocol. A review of bone marrow cytology achieved complete remission on the 33rd day of chemotherapy, and minimal residual disease detected by flow cytometry indicated less than 0.01%. TCF3::PBX1 fusion gene was negative. Conclusions:ALL secondary to BL in children is rare, and the ALL treatment regimens are effective.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of phytoestrogen biochanin A （BCA） on liver fibrosis induced by CCl₄ in female mice with bilateral oophorectomy （ovariectomized） and its mechanism. MethodsA total of 50 ovariectomized Kunming mice were selected and given intraperitoneal injection of CCl₄ to establish a model of liver fibrosis， and then according to body weight， they were randomly divided into model group， positive control group， and low-， middle-， and high-dose BCA groups， with 10 mice in each group. In addition， 10 female mice in the same litter were given resection of a small amount of adipose tissue near both ovaries to establish the sham-operation group. The mice in the positive control group were given estradiol 2 mg/kg by gavage， and those in the low-， middle-， and high-dose BCA groups were given BCA by gavage at a dose of 25， 50， and 100 mg/kg， respectively， once a day for 7 consecutive weeks； the mice in the sham-operation group and the model group were given an equal volume of 0.5% sodium carboxymethyl cellulose solution by gavage. The mice were anesthetized and sacrificed after administration to collect samples. Liver index and uterus index were measured； HE staining and Masson staining were used to observe liver histopathological changes； the biochemical analysis was used to measure the activity of aspartate aminotransferase （AST） and alanine aminotransferase （ALT）； ELISA was used to measure the levels of interleukin-6 （IL-6） and tumor necrosis factor-α （TNF-α） in liver tissue， and Western blot was used to measure the relative protein expression levels of collagen Ⅰ， transforming growth factor-beta 1 （TGF-β₁）， alpha-smooth muscle actin （α-SMA）， estrogen receptor beta （ERβ）， and p-NF-κBp65/NF-κBp65 in liver tissue. The t-test was used for comparison of continuous data between two groups； a one-way analysis of various was used for comparison between multiple groups， and the least significant difference t-test was used for further comparison between two groups. The Kruskal-Wallis H test was used for comparison of non-normally distributed continuous data between multiple groups and further comparison between two groups. ResultsCompared with the sham-operated group， the model group had a significant increase in liver index and a significant reduction in uterus index， as well as significant increases in the activities of serum AST and ALT， the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in liver tissue， and the protein expression levels of collagen Ⅰ， TGF-β₁， α-SMA， and p-NF-κBp65/NF-κBp65 in liver tissue （all P<0.05）， with no significant change in the expression of ERβ in liver tissue （P>0.05）， and the model group showed significant fibrosis lesions in the liver， such as hepatocyte edema， steatosis， and necrosis with inflammatory cell infiltration and hyperplasia， deposition， and staggered distribution of collagen fibers. Compared with the model group， the low-， middle-， and high-dose BCA groups had significant reductions in liver index， the activities of serum AST and ALT， the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α， and the protein expression levels of collagen Ⅰ， TGF-β₁， α-SMA， and p-NF-κBp65/NF-κBp65 in liver tissue （all P<0.05）， with no significant change in uterine index （P>0.05）， as well as a significant increase in the protein expression level of ERβ in liver tissue （P<0.05） and varying degrees of improvement in liver fibrosis lesions. ConclusionBCA can effectively improve CCL₄-induced liver fibrosis in ovariectomized female mice， possibly by upregulating ERβ to inhibit the NF-κB signaling pathway and then alleviating inflammatory response.

Objective: To investigate the characteristics of rabies-exposed population in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province from 2014 to 2023, so as to provide insights into the prevention and control of rabies. Methods: Data of rabies-exposed population in Wenzhou City from 2014 to 2023 were collected through Wenzhou Rabies-Exposed Population Summary Sheet reported by dog injury clinics. The species of animals causing injuries, exposure time, exposure grade, exposure site, and post-exposure treatment were descriptively analyzed. Results: Totally 709 900 patients were admitted to dog injury clinics in Wenzhou City from 2014 to 2023, and the exposure rate showed an increasing trend (Z=7.238, P<0.001), with an average annual exposure rate of 750.75/105. The number of cases with exposure to rabies peaked in July (79 230 cases, 11.16%) and August (78 570 cases, 11.07%). Dogs were predominant animals causing injuries (448 900 cases, 63.23%), and the exposure rate showed a downward trend (Z=-5.921, P<0.001); cats were the second (175 142 cases, 24.67%), and the exposure rate showed an upward trend (Z=23.314, P<0.001). The upper (379 695 cases, 53.49%) and lower limbs (287 521 cases, 40.50%) were the main exposure sites. There were 21 034 cases (2.96%) exposed to head and face, and the exposure rate of head and face showed an upward trend (Z=3.549, P<0.001). Grade II exposure was the most common (403 881 cases, 56.89%), and the exposure rate showed an upward trend (Z=8.769, P<0.001). The proportion of using human rabies immune globulin was 23.13% in Grade III exposed population, showing a downward trend (Z=-12.848, P<0.001). Conclusions The exposure rate of rabies in Wenzhou City showed an upward trend from 2014 to 2023, with July and August as the peak months of exposure. Injuries mainly caused by dogs, while the exposure rate of cat bites showed an upward trend. The proportion of using human rabies immune globulin needs to be improved.

Objective To establish the model of goat intervertebral disc degeneration （IDD） induced by controllable axial compressive stress and evaluate its imaging and pathological characteristics. Methods Twenty goats were randomly divided into 4 groups (control group, 4-week pressure group, 8-week pressure group, 12-week pressure group, n=5, 40 N pressure). Disc height index (DHI) was used to evaluate the change of intervertebral disc height by X-ray, Pfirrmann classification method was used to observe the degree of intervertebral disc degeneration by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and histopathological observation and evaluation for intervertebral disc were conducted by HE staining and immunohistochemistry. Results DHI in control group showed no significant changes with the extension of pressure time, while DHI in the experimental group gradually decreased. There was no significant change in Pfirrmann classification in control group. In experimental group, with the extension of time, the higher the degeneration aggravated with the Pfirrmann classification increasing. In experimental group, HE staining showed that the disc nucleus pulposus decreased in volume and nucleus pulposus cells, which were gradually replaced by fibrous tissues. Immunohistochemical staining showed that type I collagen in the nucleus pulposus gradually increased, type Ⅱ collagen gradually decreased, and intervertebral disc degeneration occurred. Conclusions A certain axial compressive stress can lead to degeneration of goat lumbar intervertebral disc, and the degree of degeneration is gradually increased with the extension of time.

Objective:To investigate the pathogenic factors of vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) in occupational women of childbearing age and the prognostic value of interferon-γ (IFN-γ), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin (IL)-2.Methods:184 patients from the Meishan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from June 2016 to June 2017 in the gynaecological clinic were selected for research.The self-made general situation questionnaire was used to investigate the situation of the patients, and the vaginal secretions of the patients were sampled for microscopic examination to diagnose vulvovaginal candidiasis. According to the prevalence and recurrence of VVC, the patients were divided into recurrent group (42 cases), non recurrent group (55 cases) and non-VVC group (87 cases). Single factor analysis and multi factor logistic analysis were used to analyze the pathogenic factors of VVC.Results:Among the 184 patients, 97 were diagnosed as VVC, with a 52.72% incidence rate. The results of single analysis showed that age, drinking sugary drinks, eating sweets, exercising, sedentary, emotional state, frequency of using pads in non menstrual period, wearing tights, history of vaginitis, frequency of vaginal washing, history of curettage, contraceptive method, first sexual intercourse age, number of sexual partners, whether washing vulva before and after sexual life were related to the incidence of vulvovaginal candidiasis in occupational women of childbearing age ( P<0.05). The results of multivariate analysis showed that sedentary, drinking sugary drinks, eating sweets, wearing tights, vaginal washing frequency, first sexual intercourse age, contraceptive method, number of sexual partners, history of curettage, history of vaginitis, and cleaning vulva before and after sexual life were all independent factors ( P<0.05). There was no significant difference in TNF-α level among the three groups ( P>0.05), while the IFN-γ and IL-2 levels were the lowest in the recurrent group, the second in the non recurrent group, and the highest in the control group ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The incidence rate of VVC in the women of childbearing age occupation is related to sedentary, sugar drinking, sweet food, tight pants frequency, vaginal irrigation frequency, first sex, contraceptive methods, sexual partners, curettage history, vaginitis history, sexual cleansing before and after sexual activity. Clinically, relevant factors can be intervened to reduce the incidence of the disease. The decrease of IFN-γ and IL-2 may increase the risk of VVC.

Objeetive : The epidemiological characteristics of confirmed cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus diseases (COVID-19) which was reported in Wenzhou by February 28,2020 were described and analyzed to provide evidence for prevention and control measures in next stage. Methods: The field investigation method was employed on all suspected and confirmed cases. The data of time,spatial and population distribution, source of infection and detective routes of all confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Wenzhou were collected and extracted from the reports of field investigation and the National Diseases Prevention and Control Information System. Results: As of February 20,2020,504 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed in Wenzhou, which included one death case. Among all 13 counties, the highest number of confirmed cases were distributed in Yueqing,Ruian and Lucheng. Among 504 cases, the male to female ratio was reported as 1.14:1. The youngest case was 2 years old while the oldest case was 93 years old. Most of the confirmed cases were among people between the ages of 25 and 64 years old. The most common occupation of the confirmed cases was businessman,which accounts for 29.76% (150 cases). Clinical symptoms of the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in Wenzhou occurred on January 4, 2020. Approximately 70% of cases had the first symptoms from January 19 to February 1. The daily number of new cases on January 24 and January 26 were the highest while the number of new cases per day declined significantly after February 2, and there were no new cases after February 14. Among all confirmed cases, the infection source of 61.71% cases were related to Wuhan. As of February 20, 2020, a total of 79 clusters were reported in Wenzhou, which involved 330 cases. Approximately 30% of confirmed cases came to hospitals unaccompanied by community staffs, and cases which confirmed after February 13 were basically found in central isolation locations or by grid checkers. Conclusions The main reason for the high case numbers of COVID-19 in Wenzhou, in Zhejiang province, was the high number of wenzhou citizens who work in Wuhan. Imported cases account for the most confirmed cases during the early period, while mainly confirmed cases were local cases during the middle and late periods. The outcomes suggest the prevention and control measures employed by Wenzhou government, which included closed-loop control and quantitative control, have achieved remarkable results and the epidemic of COVID-19 in Wenzhou has been initially controlled.

Objective To investigate the cognition status of pediatric healthcare professionals about family's participation in their sick children's safety management, and to analyze its influencing factors, so as to provide references to promote family's participation effectively. Methods From July to August 2016, a questionnaire of healthcare professionals' perceptions about "patient for patient safety (PFPS)" was used to investigate 238 pediatric healthcare professionals who were from a class Ⅲ children's hospital about their overall cognition level and their attitudes towards current difficulties. The multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the factors affecting the overall perception level. Results The pediatric healthcare professionals scored (60.12±8.94) in their overall cognitive level, among which, (4.00±0.74) in knowledge level, (3.96±0.70) in their perception level about the favorable role of patients' family's participation, and (2.50±0.84) in their perception about the unfavorable role of participation. There was a statistically significant difference in the overall cognition scores of the pediatric healthcare professionals from different departments and whether or not they had received education or training about PFPS (P< 0.05). Pediatric healthcare professionals' perception about the existing main difficulties about PFPS were that "patients' expectations with treatment were too high", and "the media's report made the public mistrust and misunderstand the medical industry", as well as, "the public were unable to clearly understand the medical's uncertainty or risk". Conclusions The total cognitive level of pediatric healthcare professionals about family's participation in sick children's safety management needs enhancing. It is suggested that hospitals should strengthen the training plans about PFPS for pediatric healthcare professionals and create a patient safety culture atmosphere in various departments, in order to effectively promote family's participation. It is also suggested that the hospital should try their best to do a good job of health education for patients' family. Also the media and the public are expected to correctly understand the medical industry, and jointly help to build a harmonious relationship between doctors and patients.

Objective To study miRNA expression patterns in endometrial carcinoma(EC)combined with the Metabolic Syn-drome(MS)and non-combined with MS in order to explore the role of the microRNAs in EC combined with the MS.Methods Three fresh-frozen samples of endometrial carcinoma Combined with MS and 3 cases of non-Combined with MS and 1 case of nor - mal endometrium were collected.Total RNA was extracted from samples and miRNA microarray was used to evaluate the differenceof expression spectrum of miRNA.Results There were different expression of miRNA among the two groups of endometrium andnormal endometrium.There were 51 miRNA different expressions between EC combined with the MS and the normal endometri - um,and among them there are 15 upregulated miRNA and 36 downregulated miRNA.There were 9 miRNA different expressionsbetween EC non-combined with the MS and the normal endometrium ,and there are 3 upregulated miRNA and 6 downregulatedmiRNA among them.10 different miRNA were revealed between the two type of EC,and there are 4 upregulated miRNA and 6downregulated miRNA among them.Conclusion Different expressions of miRNA between EC Combined and non-Combined withMS may provide insights into their roles in the progression of EC .The study of miRNA contributes to elucidate the molecular mech - anismof endometrial carcinoma.

Objective To understand the incidence of hemolytic disease in newborn (HDN)among the newborns with jaundice and the coincidence degree of the blood group serological results and the clinical diagnosis in HDN.Methods The microcolumn gel method was adopted to detect the 3 serological indexes in 276 jaundice newborns of maternal fetal blood group incompatibility,in-cluding the direct antiglobulin test,free antibody test and antibody release test.Results 108 cases of HDN were clinically diagnosed with the positive rate of 39.13%.The positive detection rate in newborns with 0-2 d old was highest(50.00%).Conclusion The serological test can provide the basis for the early diagnosis and treatment of HDN.Collecting the specimen as early as possible can improve the positive diagnosis rate of HDN.
