This study was aimed to investigate allergic reactions of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) injections, and to determine contents of serum IgE in sensitized animals. The correlation between preceding contents in serum and allergic reactions may be found, in order to offer experimental evidences for advancing the accuracy of anticipa-tion by allergic reactions. Passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) tests and anaphylactoid reactions were used in a vari-ety of TCM injections. ELISA method was used to determine the content of total serum IgE in sensitized animals. The PCA results of SHL, QKL, YXC, XST, GGS and CHN were negative. The PCA result of CWJ was positive. There was no significant difference for total serum IgE level between the experimental group and the normal saline group in the group of SHL, QKL, YXC, XST, GGS, CHN and CWJ. All TCM injections caused anaphylactoid symp-toms in guinea pigs. It was concluded that all TCM injections can cause allergic reactions in guinea pig. And the al-lergic reactions of TCM injections were not correlated with serum total IgE.

Objective To observe the anaphylactoid reactions of Shuanghuanglian injection, determine the serum histamine level of sensitized animal, and to investigate its correlation with anaphylactoid reactions. Methods The guinea pigs were randomly selected to observe the anaphylactoid reactions using Shuanghuanglian injections in the different injection speed or different doses, and the serum histamine and the serum IgE of sensitized animals were determined by ELISA. Results The anaphylactoid reactions were induced by Shuanghuanglian injections in the different conditions of injection speed and doses in guinea pigs. There were no obvious difference about the serum IgE level between Shuanghuanglian group and saline group were injected in injection speed and doses. The serum histamine level was significantly increased in Shuanghuanglian group both different conditions of injection speed and doses, and it related to doses and speed. Conclusion Shuanghuanglian injection can cause anaphylactoid reactions in guinea pigs, and the changes of serum histamine level are related to injection speed and doses of Shuanghuanglian injection.

Objective To explore the effective means and important significance for preventing the born of neonatal patients with severe thalassemia. Methods Among the pregnant women and spouses receiving prenatal examination in our hospital from January 2013 to December 2015 were performed the thalassemia screening and gene diagnosis,49 couples carrying the same type thalassemia were conducted the prenatal amniotic fluid thalassemia gene diagnosis and follow up after prenatal diagnosis. Results In 49 couples carrying the same type thalassemia, the main gene mutation types of α-thalassemia detected by the gene diagnosis were --SEA/aα(50.0%),-α3.7/αa (36.5%) and-α4.2/αa (11.5%),which of β-thalassemia were CD17/N(42.0%),CD41-42/N (26.0%) and IVS-Ⅱ-654/N(22.0%).The results of prenatal diagnosis showed that there were 4 cases of HbH disease,2 cases of Bart's hydrops fetus,10 cases of severe β-thalassemia,19 a-thalassemia carriers,10 β-thalassemia carriers,1 case of co-inheritance of a-and β-thalassemia,and 3 health fetuses. The follow up results were consistent with those of prenatal diagnosis. Conclusion Conducting prenatal screening and diagnosis of thalassemia in pregnant women can effectively prevent the birth of neonatal patients with severe thalassemia.

Objective This study was to analyze the causes of the complications of ultrasound -guided percutaneous renal bi-opsy in children . Methods We retrospectively analyzed the complications of ultrasound-guided percutaneous renal biopsy in 236 children along with the age, sex, sample length, times of puncture, and types of disease of the patients .We used the binary Logistic regression model to analyze the influences of various factors on the post -biopsy complications . Results After renal biopsy , 22 (9.3%) of the patients experienced various degrees of but no severe complications .The incidence of complications was significantly correlated with the sample length (P<0.05), but not with the age, sex, sample length, times of puncture, and types of disease of the patients. Conclusion Ultrasound-guided percutaneous renal biopsy is an effective diagnostic method for children , with a high suc-cess rate and a low incidence of complications .And the incidence of complications can be reduced by improving the skills of puncturing and accuracy of ultrasound positioning .

Objectives To investigate the diagnostic performance of the combination of ultrasound elastography and automated breast volume scanner (ABVS) in differentiation of benign and malignant breast imaging reporting and data system (BI-RADS) 4 breast lesions. Methods Data from 137 breast cancer patients (147 tumors) confirmed pathologically were analyzed. Each tumor was examined by ABVS and ultrasound elastography. All tumors were diagnosed as BI-RADS 4 by ABVS. With final pathology results as the gold standard, the predictive value in differentiating BI-RADS 4 breast lesions between ultrasound elastography and the combination of ultrasound elastography and ABVS were compared. Results There were 54 benign nodules and 93 malignant nodules in this study. The diagnostic sensitivity of ultrasound elastography and the combination of ultrasound elastography and ABVS were 94.6% and 98.9%,the specificity were 57.4% and 57.4%, the accuracy were 81.0% and 83.7%, the area under the curve were 0.858 and 0.965, respectively. The diagnostic performance of ultrasound elastography combined with ABVS was better than that of ultrasound elastography. Conclusions Ultrasound elastography have certain value in differential diagnosis of BI-RADS 4 breast lesions, especially when combining with ABVS, which will improve its diagnostic accuracy. Ultrasound elastography combined with ABVS can improve the detection rate of malignant lesions in BI-RADS 4 breast lesions and reduce the rate of preoperative biopsy, and it has a good application prospect.
