Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of Reduning injections in the treatment of infantile rotavirus enteritis. Methods:Totally 102 cases of infantile rotavirus enteritis in our hospital from June 2012 to June 2013 were randomly divided into two groups, the control group had 50 patients, and the treatment group had 52 cases. Both groups were given conventional symp-tomatic treatment, the control group was given 10 mg·kg-1 ribavirin injections in 100ml glucose injections for intravenous infusion, qd, and the treatment group was given 0. 5 ml·kg-1 Reduning injections in 100ml glucose injections for intravenous infusion, qd. Ev-ery 3-day was a course of treatment. The clinical curative effect of the two groups was observed, and the clinical symptoms, hospitaliza-tion time and adverse reactions were also studied. Results:After the treatment, the total effective rate in the control group was 70. 0%, while that in the treatment group was 92. 3%, and there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0. 05). The clinical symptom disappearance time and hospitalization time in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group with statistically significant difference (P<0. 05). During the treatment, the control group had 5 cases of leucopenia and 2 cases of skin rash, and the patients all recovered after withdrawal of the drug, while the treatment group showed no obvious adverse reaction. Con-clusion:The curative effect of Reduning injections in the treatment of infantile rotavirus enteritis is promising, which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, shorten the course of disease and reduce adverse reactions with the value of clinical application.

Erythropoietin(EPO) has an anti-apoptotic effect,and promotes the proliferation and differentiation of erythroid progenitor cells. Several studies have indicated that EPO can protect photoreceptor cells from the lightinduced retinal degeneration ;protect retinal neurons from ischemia-reperfusion injury and retinal ganglion cells after acute and chronic ocular hypertension; promote ganglion cell survival and axonal regeneration after optic nerve transaction; attenuate inflammation in multiple sclerosis optic neuritis; reduce the permeability of the retinal barrier and protect retinal neurons in diabetic retinopathy; enhance the stability of hypoxic retinal vessels in retinopathy of prematurity. Herein,we review the distribution of EPO and its receptor in retina,their expression in animal model of retinal diseases,and their effects and mechanisms in protection of retinal neurons and optic nerve.

Objective: To evaluate the application of two-dimension and color Doppler ultrasound in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of fascial space infection in maxillofacial region. Methods: Retrospective analysis was conducted on 87 cases of maxillofacial space infections, among which there were 6 suspected cases of accompanying tumor.Results: In the 87 cases, 53 had abscess formation, confirmed by operative drainage or puncture biopsy. The pathological studies revealed 2 cases of Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and 1 case of branchial cleft cyst accompanied with infection. The 3 cases showed characteristic appearance in ultrasonic imaging. The space infection presented stronger echogenicity than that in tumors. In this study, 95% (83/87) cases showed grey or medium echogenic dots, while 4.5% (4/87) cases did not show obvious echogenic dots due to a large amount of abscess, and 2 cases of tumors, however, did not show any echogenic dots. In addition, 87% (76/87) cases had few blood flow in the lesion areas, and 22% (2/87) cases had much blood flow in the lesion areas. All cases showed that the lesion areas and the blood flow reduced obviously with enhanced echo following anti-inflammatory treatment except 2 cases accompanied with tumor without obvious changes in lesion areas and blood flow.Conclusion: The ultrasonic diagnosis with two dimension and color Doppler ultrasound has high accuracy in diagnosis of maxillofacial space infection, with accordance rate up to 96.6%, much higer than CT/MRI. It is suggested that the two dimension and color Doppler ultrasound can be used as a prior choice of diagnosis.

[Summary] 2015 AACE/ACE Clinical Practice Guidelines for Integrated Management of Diabetes are updated and revised on the basis of 2011 edition. The guidelines highlight the comprehensive consideration of micro- and macro-vascular risks rather than merely focusing on the strategies and approaches of glycemic control. The guidelines also emphasize individualized targets for weight loss and the management of hyperglycemia ,dyslipidemia and hypertension and that more attention should be paid to safety of individualized treatment other than efficacy.

Objective To assess the diagnostic and preoperative classification value of MSCT after administration of water orally and meglumine diatrizoate enema in diagnosis of colonic neoplasms.Methods The day before examination,40 patients with colon carcinoma had a liquid diet and rountine clean enema,then underwent MSCT scan after administration of water orally and 2% meglumine diatrizoate enema.CT findings were analysed in comparison with postoperative pathologic features.Results There were 2 cases of rectal neoplasms,7 cases of sigmoid colon,6 cases of descending colon,5 cases of transeverse colon,and 20 cases of ascending colon cancer.According to Dukes' staging way,the lesions were B stage in 22 cases,C stage in 12 cases and D stage in 6 cases,the rate corresponding to operation was 89.6%.Conclusion MSCT scan after administration of water orally and 2% meglumine diatrizoate enema in diagnosis of colonic neoplasms has great value.

Objective:To evaluate the effects of surface modified nano titanium-oxide on the mechanical properties of A-2186 silicone elastomers. Methods:Added surface modified nano titanium-oxide into A-2186 silicone elastomers with 0.0%, 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0%, 2.5% and 3.0% additions according to the ASTM standard. The mechanical properties of A-2186 silicone elastomer including the tensile strength, the broken elongation, the tear strength and the Shore-A hardness were tested separately. The section of samples were investigated by scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum analysis. Used statistics method to analyse the results. The results were analysed with software EPSS 13.0. Results:With the addition of nano titanium-oxide increasing, the tensile strength, the broken elongation and the tear strength of A-2186 silicone elastomers increased firstly, and then decreased. While the Shore-A hardness of A-2186 silicone elastomers increased gradually. When the addition of surface modified nano titanium-oxide reached to 2.0%, the nano titanium-oxide dispersed well in the base without agglomeration. Under such condition, the A-2186 silicone elastomer showed the best general mechanical properties:the tensile strength was (6.54?0.55) MPa, the broken elongation was 618.00?7.58(%), the tear strength was (16.64?0.52) kN/m and the Shore-A hardness was (31.00?0.79) U. Conclusion:The mechanical properties of A-2186 silicone elastomers are improved most greatly with 2.0% addition of surface modified nano titanium-oxide to the base of A-2186 silicone elastomers.

Objective To design a virtual console for the movable high frequency X-ray machine system type MME2002. Methods An experimental circuit was designed to simulate the real circuit and realized the serial communication between microcomputer and MCU (micro control unit). The simulating software was designed in Visual Basic 6.0, using MSComm to control serial communication. It simulated the functions of the initial console, including setting parameters, sending commands to the machine and storing and transferring the best data of a special condition by file operation in VB. Results The console was designed based on PC. Conclusion This console can replace the console using circuit boards and keys. It can be combined with the X-ray machine systems' image collection software, making the machine's operation more easy and convenient.

Objectives To investigate the expression and differential diagnosis value of Galectin-3 and Cyclin D1 in benign and malignant thyroid mass.Methods The expression of Galectin-3 and Cyclin D1 protein in 31 cases of nodular goiter(group A),65 cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC,group B) and 10 cases of normal thyroid tissues(group C,the control group)was detected by SP immunohistochemical method.The clinical data were analyzed.Results The expression level of Galectin-3 in group B was 83.03％ (54/65),significantly higher than that in group A(19.35％,6/31) and group C(0％).The difference of group A and group B in terms of the expression level of Galectin-3 protein had statistical significance(x2 =36.360,P ＜0.05).The expression level of Cyclin D1 protein in group B was 72.30％ (47/65),significantly higher than that in group A(12.90％,4/31)and group C(0％).The difference of group A and group B in terms of the expression level of Cyclin D1 protein had statistical significance(x2 =29.740,P ＜ 0.05).The combination detection of the positive expression of Galectin-3 and Cyclin D1 in benign and malignant thyroid mass showed that the difference between group A and group B had statistical significance(P ＜ 0.01).The expression of Galectin-3 and Cyclin D1 was positively correlated in group B(R =0.509,P ＜0.05).The positive expression rate of Cyclin D1 protein was 90％ (18/20) and 64.44％ (29/45)respectively in PTC patients with lymph node metastasis and without lymph node metastasis.The difference had statistical significance (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The expression of Galectin-3 and Cyclin D1 is positively correlated in PTC and the expression of the 2 proteins in PTC is higher than that in nodular goiter and normal thyroid tissues,indicating that the 2 proteins can be used as valuable markers for patients with thyroid carcinoma.Combined detection of Cyclin D1 and Galectin-3 protein in thyroid tissues is useful for the diagnosis of thyroid cancer.
