1.On Quality Criteria of Xiaoyan Tablets

OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality criteria for Xiaoyan tablets. METHODS: Herba Taraxaci and Herba Violae in the formula were identified qualitatively by TLC and the content of Baicalin was determined by HPLC on Zorbax SB-C18(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) column with mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.4%H3PO4(24∶76) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1. The detection wavelength was set at 280 nm and the column temperature was set at room temperature. RESULTS: Herba Taraxaci and Herba Violae could be detected by TLC. The linear range of Baicalin was 0.08~2.49 ?g(r=0.999 9). The average recovery rate was 100.24%(RSD=1.52%,n=6).CONCLUSION: The establish criteria are suitable for the quality control of Xiaoyan tablets.
3.Comparative analysis on the current situations of private and public hospitals in Beijing

Objective:To put forward some suggestions by comparing the current situation in both private and public hospitals. Methods:Comparing the basic information, scale, human resource and medical service management situation between the private and public hospitals by analyzing the 2014 Beijing health authorities report. Results:There are 355 private hospitals, 76. 1% of them are not rated and 59. 7% are not appointed for the medical insur-ance, and 82. 8% need to rent the land. Although the number of private hospitals is more than that of the public ones, their actual beds and health resources respectively account for only 20. 2% and 16. 4%. Besides, their in-come, assets and services also account for only about 10%. Conclusions:There is a big gap between the private and public hospitals in terms of scale, human resources and service ability. The Government should implement the policy about the ratings, medical insurance and the use of land which is given to support the private hospitals, and speed up the diversified medical model.
4.Effect of mometasone furoate nasal spray, loratadine and health education on children with allergic rhinitis and its effect on IL-10 and IL-17

Objective To investigate the clinical curative effect of combined treatment of mometasone furoate nasal spray, loratadine, health education on children with allergic rhinitis and effects on IL-10 and IL-17. Methods 50 children with allergic rhinitis in our hospital from January 2015 to December 2016 were selected,and according to the different treatment methods divided into observation group and control group,25 cases in each groups.The control group were treated with loratadine, observation group with mometasone furoate nasal spray of loratadine + + health education treatment; we observed the two groups before and after treatment in children with nasal symptoms score, IL-10 and IL-17 and the incidence of adverse reactions, and the relevant data for comparative analysis. Results Mometasone furoate nasal spray of loratadine + + Health Education (observation group) the effect of treatment of children with allergic nasal is better than loratadine (control group) treatment, symptoms to improve the situation, IL-10 and IL-17 are better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); two groups children with adverse reaction rate comparison, the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion Children with allergic rhinitis selection of mometasone furoate nasal spray + loratadine + health education treatment effect significantly, can effectively improve the symptoms, IL-10 and IL-17, and will not increase the incidence of adverse reactions, it is worthy of clinical application.
5.Construction and Characteristic of Human Multidrug-Resistant Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cell Line

Objective: To establish human multidrug-resistant hepatocellular carcinoma cell line(QGY7703/DDP) to analyze its different resistance and sensitivity. Methods: The human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line QGY7703 was continuously grown in the presence of cisplatin(DDP) for up to 6 months. Cell proliferation and cytotoxicity were serially monitored. Results: The chemosensitivities to 5-FU,DDP,adramycin (ADM) and mitomycin(MMC) were different between QGY7703 and QGY7703/DDP. The exhibitions were 1.533 fold to 5-FU,2.181 fold to DDP,7.08 fold to ADM, 9.461 fold to MMC in QGY7703/DDP. Conclusion: The drug resistance in cancer cell lines can be established by exposing to antitumor drugs in cell culture system.

10.THE DETERMINATION OF THE BODY FAT CONTENT OF 43 MALE ADULTS

In view of the fact that the determination of body fat has very important bearing on the selection of certain naval and aviation personnel who may be subjected to sudden changes in environmental pressures, on veterinary economics, clinical medicine, nutrition, gymnastics as well as metabolic studies 43 males were chosen for a preliminary survey of their body fat content. Two relatively simple indirect methods for determining body fat were employed, namely: Behnke's specific gravity method and McCance's density-SCN combined method. In obtaining the sp. gr. of the body in each case the method was, however, modified in two respects. Firstly, due attention was paid to the temperature of the water in which the subject was immersed, and secondly, the amount of gas was ascertained in the lungs of the immersed subjects by asking them to expire into the spirometer while still in water instead of after getting out of the water as practiced in McCance's procedure.The average fat content of the 43 males in terms of body weight when calculated according to the method of Behnke's formula and modified method was 14.4% and 13.2% respectively. Analysis of the results showed that the body fat content obtained by Behnke's method was higher than that obtained by the modified method, the only exception being that case when the temperature of the water was at 37℃. It was also found that the lower the temperature of the water, the greater was the difference between the two methods. It is therefore important to keep the temperature of the water constant (preferably at body temperature) or to record the temperature, if not constant, and give due consideration to it in making the calculations.McCance's combined method was used on only 38 subjects out of the 43 and was carried out in two series. The average body fat content of the subjects in the first series was 12.7%, a figure significantly smaller than either one of Behnke's or the modified method in the same series. In the second series the fat content was 11.2%, with no statistical difference between it and either one of the above two. Therefore, in our opinion, this combined method needs more careful evaluation before being put into general use.
